Officially, the switch occurs at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7. Clocks need to be set back one hour to accommodate the change. The country will remain on Standard Time until March 13, 2011.

This is also a good time to take the opportunity to change the batteries in your smoke detectors!

My mistake.

Andrea just pointed out it's 1 hr extra sleep.

I failed Algebra 1A and 1B and Geometry 1A in High School.

So I am excused from making such math mistake.

Well, back to falling back one hour which means one extra hour to stay up late and doing nothing on the internet while everyone else is sleeping including both kittens.

Oh Crap!

We spring forward again this Sunday!

Yeah feels like it should happen in April.

I woke up about 7 am new time, checked my email and checked the internet, Andrea asked me if I wanted breakfast, I said not yet,

Laid down on the sofa and fell asleep until 10 am.

Usually once I am up, I am up regardless of the time of the morning even if it's still 4 am.

This Daylight Savings still kicking my butt.

Every Day since Sunday, I go to sleep around 11 pm, wake up about 5 am: 6 hours sleep average each of those nights.

But by 11 am I'm ready for a nap but I can't take one because I am at work.

I had a thought yesterday.

Instead of 1 hour Spring forward and 1 hour Fall back, why not just meet halfway and have 30 minutes Spring forward and 30 minutes Fall back.

That will be easier on everyone's natural internal body clock.

I remember one year when I was in high school they didn't turn the clocks back to conserve oil i think and I saw the sun coming up in first period in school.

It's not fun going to school in the dark lol or work for that matter. It was cool watching the sun come up though instead of paying attention to the teacher.

They really don't need to. This all started in 1918 in an effort to save fuel during World War 1. The U.K. starts theirs last Sunday of March.
