Nope i wouldn't spend that much for shoes. I wouldn't even spend more than $50 for a new pair, Last pair of shoes i got at Wal-mart for $15 and i barely wear them

I wear boots and sneakers that are steel toed and steel plated all the way around the side, top, back and bottom.

There is a steel plate between the inner sole and the outer sole making me about 1 1/2 inch taller.

Also, both the boots and sneakers are built to withstand extreme weather.

Nope ,I wouldn't either. I could think of better ways to spend my $$$ that on a pair of sneakers like that.

I know there are people that collect designer sneakers and never wear them. I can understand collecting somethings but not sneakers.

I love the comparison! No, I wouldn't buy them. I think the most I ever paid for shoes was $60, and only because they were winter boots with insulation and good tread. Of course, my other pair lasted 10 years, so I'd say it's worth it.

I had $27 pair of sneakers from Wal Mart that lasted me 10 years.

Hi J7! Yes, I used to get mine from Walmart and they lasted forever. They're not as good now, though. I usually go to shoe outlets to get the Reeboks or Nikes at a discount price after they're out of season. Why spend a fortune on something that is definitely going to get dirty? I'll pay a little extra for support since I have a bad spine, but not for what I call "fluff."

I would never pay that much for one pair of shoes.

The most of I've ever spent on shoes was a lovely, warm pair of winter boots for $60 (50% Sale) that I still wear 6 years later.

The most I ever usually spend on a single pair is $30 - $40, and even then the store usually has a 'Buy 1, Get The 2nd Pair Half Price' offer, which works out fantastically. Haha!

I just don't see the point in paying so much money for something that you're going to wear every day, and they'll get dirty and scuffed, and inevitably worn out. What a waste of money.

I have a pair of Italian black leather dress shoes I bought for $52 on sale.

They are always shiny.

No need to shine them.

I had them for 7 years and I wear them a couple of times a week.

I can see a few folks wearing this and getting shot and robbed over them.

Shoes companies been trying to come up with a self lacing shoe since Back To The Future.
