The 17 movies include Dune, Matrix 4.

Wonder Woman 1984 which starts in cinemas on December 25th after being postponed from June will also be available on HBO Max at the same time in 4K UltraHD and HDR.

Here's the list:

The Suicide Squad, The Matrix 4, Dune, Godzilla vs. Kong and Space Jam: A New Legacy. Other films include Little Things, Judas and the Black Messiah, Tom & Jerry, Mortal Kombat, Those Who Wish Me Dead, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, In the Heights, Reminiscence, Malignant, The Many Saints of Newark, King Richard and Cry Macho.

The era of the movie theaters dominance has ended. The fourth age of Middle Earth has began.

Many ain't happy with Warner Bros decision to release 17 movies plus Wonder Woman 1984 to cinema and HBO Max streaming together

I want to know how they will make a profit on some of those movies that are $250-300 million to make.

Some of these movies that cost $250-350 million earn 700 million or 1 billion at the cinema. They can't earn that much streaming it. Sequels are approved or rejected based on whether the prequels made money or not. I want to know how they will make a profit on those films from streaming. I am sure HBO Max is not paying Warner Bros a $300 million license fee to stream those big budget theatrical movies on their streaming channel.

Wonder Woman 1984 is now on HBO MAX in IMAX 1080p, it dropped 19 minutes ago at exactly 11 am Central/12 pm Eastern.

 

Does “Wonder Woman 1984” cost extra money?

“Wonder Woman 1984” is free with your HBO Max subscription, but will only be on the service for one month.

Then it will be made available on premium video on-demand for an additional cost.

(Also if you are paying for a monthly TV services, some of them like AT&T Uverse, have HBO MAX included.)
