Ummmm, These used to be helpful, but now it's just straight out advertising. Don't go there - the ads cut out anything that might have been useful, interrupting all the recorded Lara sequences. I wonder if the person who initially posted these videos is aware of how bad (with advertising) the videos have actually become. It seems there is no escaping the advertising monster.

Hi everyone, While I do not like all the graphic violence that this reboot has introduced (and I hope the next release has more puzzle solving etc.) I have persevered with playing the game to the end. I was interested to read that other players are having difficulty on the PC version with the QTEs, as I did. Sometimes the PC controls were OK and other times they weren't. I found the difficulties were particularly evident in the really tricky bits in the wolf/river/parachuting/combat sequences where you have to mash or melee on cue. My solution was to buy a game controller for $20.00 AUD and to use the PC keyboard functions in conjunction with the game controller for QTEs or other difficult sequences. I found that accuracy for combat was better with the PC controls but the mashing/melee aspects were much better handled with the game controller and I could run both at the same time. I hope this info is of help to anyone having difficulties with the PC version.

I am really disappointed that the game is so violent and bloody. I was quite disconcerted to find Lara with a pole shoved up through her throat (brain) in two instances just because I couldn't easily navigate through the passes. I've kept going with it because I've paid for it, but I'm finding all the shooting and killing quite horrid, If the next issue of Tomb Raider is of the same genre as this last release, then I won't be going there. All the magical graphics are available (although a minor part of the game) i.e. rescuing the lost pilot, the tombs and the puzzles - isn't this what we loved about Lara? The wholesale slaughter doesn't do it for me. If the developers don't sort it out, I think they'll lose a lot of dedicated Tomb Raiders - well, me anyway. Maybe I'll just go back to Underworld or something!!
