I am stuck on Area 8: Base Exterior Well Guarded Building and First Solarii Guard with Shield. When he busts out of the doors and comes after he gets close and it triggers a screen that says Dodge incoming attacks and it shows the arrow key but the screen freezes that way but the music is still playing. I have to exit the game and go back in and it just does the same thing. There is also another screen that pops up that says defend and it shows which keys to press and it freezes the screen. I can't get past this point!!! I haven't had any problems with the game until this point. ?

I have been playing the definitive edition of tomb raider on a PS4. I have tried for months to get past the Russian guy who chokes you and fights you with a gun. After kicking him and biting his ear we struggle on the ground and I always get shot in the head because there are no directions on how to go from there. If anybody could give me any heads up here that would be great otherwise I’m just going to give somebody the game because at this point I can’t play it either way. It’s ridiculous that there is no information on the subject anywhere. I literally just started getting into the game and was forced to stop because I can’t pass the stupid guy!!!

Hello, I am at part where in the mountain village, I have to shoot the arrow to rope the next part. I kept doing that but no luck, it won’t even hit the white thingy to connect even so had red mark on it. I even use gun to aim because I read of tip in other topic situation. No luck. I am trying to get to top of mountain to find Captain Jessup with blue smoke up in the air. does anyone have solution to help me out? thanks!!

I am at the top of the radio tower trying to get the emergency channel. I think I have hit a bug or something, as no on screen instructions have come up and I can only move the dial a little bit. Picture looks weird too, like some of it is missing ( comparing to walkthrough screenshots) Any ideas? I have reloaded checkpoint three time, switched console off twice. going to leave it until later but so frustrating!

While I'm waiting for a new TR to come out, I've been replaying some of the older games. Currently I'm playing TR (2013) on the PS4, I've already played it on the PS3. I've got to the point of no return and, before I finish the game, I'm having a look around for the bits and pieces that I'm missing. Trouble is that wherever I go, it seems to be night time and everthing's dark. Using survival doesn't help, in some cases it makes it worse, and lighting a torch can bring in the bad guys. Anyone else had this problem?

Can someone give me advice on how to kill the large dude on the shipwreck. I’m playing Tomb Raider Definitive Edition on my PS4. Every time I get a triangle prompt to strike at this very annoying large dude, I press the triangle button. Then it gives me another triangle prompt and I press the button again, but then the guy grabs me by the neck and throws me to the ground. It’s becoming beyond annoying. Am I not pressing the button at the right time or holding it down long enough? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've completed the battle in this area and am now inside the bunker looking for ways out -- but nothing seems to work, including the roped door, which I pulled slightly open and cannot go through when I jump and grab it from below. Tried grenades on doors, floors, every possible barrier! Please tell me what i may be overlooking or not using!?

Hello! (I'm playing on PC) Near the beginning of the game, when we much retrieve our belongings from the wolf pack, I have a problem with the quick-time event that occurs while exiting the cave. The wolf will jump out at me and I will keep pressing the Left and Right keys to stuggle free. Once that is done, what should happen if i should be able to press F at the appearence of the red reticule to bash the wolf, or something of the sort. The problem is, the retucule doesn't appear, and the wolf tears Lara appart with no further do. I have tried many times pressing F anyway, I have also tried shooting at it but this seems to be a bug. I avoided detection until the Russian found her. I'm frustrated and board trying to figure out what this game wants from me. I'm tired of the constant iterations because the game is unlcear what needs to be done next. OK, he finds her. I press "F" twice to ward him off. She knocks him down, her hands become free, I shoot him in the stomach then what? I keep hitting the left and right arrows one at a time, Then this icon of a red hand shows and he kills her. driving me mad,..for some reason i have no bow or arrows anymore to shoot the rope arrows to get me across bits,...in the mountain village ,guilty concience,..aid capt jessop and get the smoke beacon,...im on a piece of cliff thats in the middle...very high,..it has 2 posts for where to shoot and tie the arrows to get over to the smoke beacon ,..i die every time i try anything to get off it,..been here now for hours,...need a bow n arrow as i have tried everything to get off to no avail,..is there a way of even getting back to the start of the level or a few checkpoints back?...thanks

NI create the rope bridge, cross (X) it then use the axe (circle) to attach to wall and then climb up to the right...then jump up again to next ledge above...i then move along as far right as i can go and can see the axeable rock face to the right...Lara is hanging right and looking across I use Left/X to jump right and then hit the Circle button to axe the wall, but she never seems to do that, i simply fall down... forget that...i am an idiot .... should be using the Square button to clamp axe to wall...doh!

damn this is frustrating....been stuck here at 47% for 3 days now.No matter whether I use my mouse/keyboard or game controller after I get this big guy in a vulnerable position and rush into kill,I hit F or in gamepad Y and no matter how fast or slow I try going to the next F or Y the giant always right away grabs Lara by the throat and and tosses her away...this has gone on for the better part of 6 hrs and I'm about to toss the game in the garbage!! anyone have any ideas how to get past this thing...what the heck am I doing wrong??? this is hurting my brain...arghhhh!!!

Please help, as this is driving me crazy! I have watched countless videos and read countless walkthroughs. Basically, I'm at the Solarii fortress, and the cut scene with Nikolai as you drop over the ledge and find the grenade launcher. When I pick it up, I have no ammo. Should I have picked up grenade launcher ammo earlier? Anyway, even with ammo at 0, I'm still able to fire and I think I get Nikolai every time. But then Lara dies. Over and over. I have done it quickly, I've done it slowly. Nothing works so far. Any ideas?

Lara has a speech with the man at the village overlook base camp and I am stuck from here. When you run down from there, there is a huge drop and a rope at the bottom. I have looked on youtube and it shows Lara firing at the rope and climbing down. I have tried firing my arrows at the rope but nothing happens and I am running out of arrows. Do I need a special arrow and if so where do I get it? I have been stuck here for ages.

I have been dedicating my Youtube channel for the last 2 years to Tomb Raider and it's wonderful games that have came along for the ride. After finally reaching the Ziggurat Chasm, and finding the battle with the giant and others way too frustrating and unsuccessful over many days, I chose to use a save file to the end of this battle. Unfortunately, and although being forewarned, I ended up with corrupt files and my last save (in the #99 slot) was unusable. When restarting the game, I was thrown back to Shantytown, "Area 15"! Now I'd like to know if there's a way to get a save file for the last area (Ziggurat Chasm) again and retry finishing the battle, instead of playing all the previous levels again? I'd rather battle it out -- or get to the part just after the battle --in the last level than play all…

Going up and down, round and round and not able to move forward from this area (where 4 "gears" need to be deactivated) == if there's a step-by-step video or text guide, would really appreciate it -- it's baffling me for days..

At the Solarii base -- so many attack in "waves" -- very frustrating, even when dodging flames and bullets, throwing grenades and flaming arrows or using big guns, she ends up either burning up or overtaken -- any good suggestions for best strategy to get through this part?

Hi I've been through the game 3 times, and this time I swore that I was going to find everything. Well I'm almost there, 98%. But I need to get to the last Relic in the Research Base and I need a grenade to open the entrance to it's location. This has been going on for several days, I'v run around looking for the other stuff, and figuring that eventually I'll pick up a grenade someplace but it hasn't happened. Two days and I haven't gotten another grenade anyplace. I seem to find tons of everything else. Anyone have any idea how I can get one so that I can finish this? Hi I've played through Tomb Raider 2013 before. I decided to start over and I can't get through the first sequence. It took me about 10 minutes to get her to swing to the point that she set the hanging bag on fire, and after another 15 minutes I can't get her to swing far enough to set the robe on file and drop to the floor. She does respond the the keystrokes but it just seems like it isn't enough. Very frustrating. I'm using a mouse and keyboard. Same one I used to play through the game before. Anyone have any idea why she seems so laggy when trying to swing. I logged into an old save and things seemed normal. Mike
