As far as i am aware, u can only play any level by editing the script with TRWEST and this might not work with the TREP versdion of the game. Not sure about the north weapons cheat tho, i think u face north and select a small med pack, then press GUNS on your keyboard. What's your prob with facing north? Edit Ok i see the prob with north, it doesn't show up in the trep version, but it does if u install the game into its own trle folder. Anyway, i have edited the scripts for you so u can play any level, and also use the dozy cheat for all weapons and health; i just need an email addy to send them to you so see ur PM's :-)

I've asked for some help with this, but i was able to load textures from the original LE so i am assuming we use those. As the NGLE is capable of much bigger textures tho, i looked for some at trsearch and found some.. trsearch.org but i'm waiting on some help because the help file that came with NGLE wasnt of much help to me as a beginner. As for changing Laras hair.. You can DL different Lara's from the site i linked above, but if u want to change her to your own design then u will have to make her yourself, and that involves meshes and things.. rather like making new objects and stuff, and it's alot of hard work... Never tried any of this myself, but i hope it works There is also the new Next Gen LE (runs on XP) and u can find it here.. http://www.trlevelmanager.net/ng.htm I'd like to have a go at that myself sometime

Do u mean to load the level Morpheanne? Sorry if i misinterpreted ur post, but if u mean the level then u need the XP patch for faster loading on XP, and if so, u can get that from here.. TR4 XP Patch :-)

Ya, the pole thing is a bit of a nightmare.. You have to jump on the left side, then release action and grab again to the 2nd pole.. Do ur running jump from the highest point on the floor too so that Lara gets high enough :-)

Just started this tonight.. and it's beautiful :-) You start the level out in the pool area, climb the rocks to go higher.. The pole bit comes later once u have lowered a rope ahead of the bars.. :-)

in Level Three, "Maria's Cryptic Darkness"? I seemed to have encountered a bug where the camera view gets stuck in an angle that makes the level unplayable. Thanks in advance for the help! Can u post ur save game? I have the level loaded but it's right at the beginning, and it would be better if u can continue on ur save game so u keep all ur secrets etc.. Also, did u try to jump away from the area of the camera trigger? That normally kills the camera.. If not then post ur save from before the issue, i'll see if i can get past that place for u :-)

Its always hard to recommend a level, there are so many and it depends on what environment u like to play in. If you want something different to the norm, try The Quick and the Dead by Hendrik Kunze This level is from the Hall of fame, and i don't know one person who didnt love it.

On that page, there are seperate levels as well as follow on levels. Like those you see with say the number 2 or 4 next to them, that means there are levels before that, ie: Unfinished Business 4 - Taking Care Of Business has 3 other levels before it.. UB 1 2 and 3. Andreas' Sword - Part 2 has one other level before it, and The Experiment 3 - Part 2 - Budapest has 2 other levels before it. Hope that's what u meant :-)

Blade Yes, there are a few minor changes in the revised TR1, the caves maybe the biggest change of all with these new areas added in. Where u are tho, the doors u see in the floor are activation tiles, and u need to run onto the 4 corner tiles, plus those central ones between the rolling blades (i think there were 2 of them) to activate the door to get out.

Yes, but when i try to load a prj i get an error message and it closes.. error reads System Request version 129 meshes, version 0 objects.h It works ok with my CD installed version tho I'm not fussed, i will never be a builder anyway but i think Demon_Knight69 would like some help on this if u have a solution

Ya same thing here.. yet my CD version of the room editor works fine.. You'll need a builder to establish the error message tho coz i have no idea about the room editor's issues

There are some slight differences with folders between various DL's.. but i was able to install the LCO one with no probs.. Here's the files i have with that DL ... Installing from that DL ... and playing the Tut level from that DL ... So i am wondering if u have some sort of PC issue?

Can u please give me the link where u DL this LE from? I only have it on CD with the TR5 game, and ive never seen the DL'd LE files. Plus, are u wanting to build a level or play one? Either way, have u tried clicking the setup icon (bottom left in ur first pic) to install the LE? I'll go see what's in my CD files.. :-)

Yes, you can be lucky and bring him down with two shots, but you do need the shotgun to do it.. I never tried to kill him with the pistols tho, so i'm not sure if you can, or how long that would take.. but get between his legs and fire up at his belly with the shotgun, that normally sorts him out nicely

If u dont already use it, you can try using winrar for extracting zips.. Much better than windows extractor.. http://www.download.com/3000-2250-10007677.html Other reasons i have come accross for that message is that some levels contain a mac readme file.. have u tried just hitting ok and seeing if the file extracts anyway? If its a mac readme file issue the level files should still extract.. U can also try right clicking on the level's download link and 'save to target', if its a windows issue that should solve it.. I hope something works anyway

Oh god i cant think of anything else to do. If u have time tho, can u post the exact error message u have? Like u said a file was missing, it wasnt the bink.dll was it? That's the only missing file error message i have heard of..

I've done some instructions just to make sure u have installed everything correctly... Not all levels work the same, some have their own tomb4.exe (such as TR Revised) but if no Tomb4.exe is with the download then u must use the original Tomb4.exe. Or use the xp patch Tomb4.exe for faster loading. XP Patch can be found here.. TR4_ XP Patch When placing the files, Say yes to all when asked to overwrite. 1... Install the TRLE 2... Open the downloaded level folder and put all the audio files into a new folder, along with the 3 madplay files. Click the start_me.exe to convert the MP3 audios to Wav format. Now place all the Wavs (but NOT the 3 madplay files) into the audio folder of the LE. 3... Place the 5 TR.4 files (budapest.tr4 - budastart.tr4 - katakombe.tr4 - matyas1.tr4 - matyas2.tr4) AND the uklogo.pak, into the Data folder of the LE 4... Place the ENGLISH - SCRIPT and load into the main root directory of the LE Click the Tomb4.exe to play the level...
