To tell u the truth I have no idea

I updated my Widows from XP to Vista Ultimate and I had to start the game again.I was going to the Damocles Door (passed the other 3)and now I'm at the Tomb Of Qualopec level and I can't position the tall thing I'm moving(I don't know how it's called) to get in the right and the AD is killing me when I try to use it against a wolf or a raptor it bites me before I finish it!BUMP what a stupid move I like jumping and shooting the dumb thing better!lolz
