I bought my copy for £6.99 in a Steam sale! I have played with the keyboard and controller and can say it's MUCH easier with controller!

Hi Tom! I own a Mac....Although I have duel booted it and I have Tombe Raider on the Windows half...D'oh! Kratos is quite right though, it's all about timing with this guy. I also found it 100 times better once I got an Xbox 360 controller connected rather than using the keyboard! Hope you're well!

Hi all, been a while since I've posted, but I've been lurking nonetheless! Maybe somebody can shed some light for me as I'm a tad on the rusty side, lol. I recently bought TR 2013 on the PC as it was heavily discounted on Steam (Not that I wouldn't have ever bought it if it wasn't, but you know how it is!). Now I was under the impression that this took Lara back to her roots, and she was a fresh-faced, never held a gun or grappled a mountain, Lara? That being the case, and given Lara's younger age (not in her 40's!) I was kind of expecting the game to be set in the early to mid-nineties? I was therefore surprised to find some memos whilst exploring that were dated 2011... This is what confused me, lol. Is this a whole new game, and not a prequel? Are we expected to have Lara start a fresh in 2013 and take it from there so as to freshen things up for 2014, 2015, 2016 and so on? I was expecting a prequel to TR1 if I'm honest...Maybe it's just OCD and I shouldn't be over-analysing things and just enjoying the game? What I can say though is that regardless of what this game is supposed to be, it's been nailed and is stunning to look at and play! Thanks guys 'n Gals!

Hi all! Firstly, apologies that I've not been around much for some time now! I've had a lot on my plate....There's names I've never even heard of here who are probably thing "who the hell is this guy?" lol. So for my announcement. I recently divorced my now wife and am in another, very strong relationship with somebody else. In fact, we're engaged and hop to marry in 2014 sometime. Now for the other bit of news! I'm going to be a daddy! Yup, my beautiful Fiancee is about 20-weeks pregnant! All this has happened over about a year or so the way, lol!

Thanks for the advice guys! I downloaded the playable demo yesterday and it's the same size as the full game (just over 2GB on Xbox 360....which has been said I believe). On the surface it doesn't look too bad, but I just loved the 3rd person style of previous TRs. This one just seems like a game add-on almost. It juyst seems extreamly small in comparison to other TR games, and in my opinion the camera angles make it look like it's old before its time. The price also reflects its longevity, at 1200MS points that's the equivalent of like £10. I'm used to seeing new games at like £40! Final rant I promise...why is it only a download? *ducks for cover*

If I get the game it'll be on the 360, however, I must say I'm somewhat disappointed by the new layout and how it's only available on download. The download alone will no doubt take up more system memory than I have, lol. Can anybody reassure me? as normally, even if I didn't like the look of a new TR game I'd buy it just to be loyal! It just appears as though it's gone all 'strategy/RPG' is that the intention?

Well, I've seen one of the videos that was emailed to me, and I have to say I'm a little disappointed thus far! Does this mean that the majority of the gameplay is to look more RPG like than 3rd person?

I'm a little bit concerned to read that you can only purchase the game through digital download...

I'd like to see a bit more attention to detail go in to vehicle's in future games. I understand that the vehicles only place a small part in the games, and that the rest of the game should take priority, but more realism is needed, like with the rest of the game, in my opinion. A helicopter would be nice though!

Welcome back! Just to let you know, I merged the topic you made, with this one...Hence why it disappeared!

I'm quite looking forward to that one too. I begrudge the £45 price tag GAME charge though (UK based retailer...not sure if they're everywhere in the world, lol), so will either get a used copy so as to still get the reward points, or buy a copy online, as I've been impressed with the likes of Play.com recently as far as price and prompness go!

Currently working my way (slowly), through the following games on the 360 - GTA4 Forza 2 Rainbow Six Vegas Test Drive: Unlimited and have yet to begin Stranglehold

This seemed the most appropriate place to post this, so here goes! Here's our cat, Bella, in Christmas mode, lol... here's her in Spanish mode...we bought her the hat from Spain, it's actually a window sucktion thingy, but it fits her okay, lol...Took us ages to get her to remain still for us!
