I tried it a countless times but to no avail. Which is more preferrable to use? Keyboards? or there is another game control?

I'm new on the block but not to the game. Though there are some TR games I haven't tried yet.

I feel your frustration. I must say that I started trying it on a Wednesday nite and finally FINALLY, got it on Thursday nite. 17 or more attempts considering that there is only 45 sec. to do it. If you follow Stella's site walkthrough it really helps. Make sure you don't have to climb up on any of the round towers. That'll kill it for you. Try to jump continuously, use the triangle key if you are traversing around the last tower and jump up quickly. Make sure you immediately run to the left and be prepared to hit the pickup immediately. You will get it eventually. Persevere. I am no whiz at these games but eventually got it.

yeah, you have to be fast, perfect and you can't stop or hesitate.

it gives you a checkpoint after Lara pulls the lever but it's useless because if you reload the game and start at the lever, the tower has already retracted.

took me almost 50+ times before I picked up the artifact with maybe 2 sec to spare.

That timed run takes some time but it's possible! Like CTRaider said, you just need to keep trying! At some point you'll know exactly where to jump and how to get to the relic on time! When I finally did it, I still had a few seconds left!

As soon as the cut scene is over, jump back to the water and swim as fast as you can (left side). After that, keep running and jumping. Don't worry so much with the flames, (unless it's a direct hit) damage isn't so bad and you can keep going till the last pillar!

Welcome new comers! Must agree with BP, dont worry about the fire. When I did it i just ran through it and didnt worry about it at all. One piece of good advice... Plan out where you are going first. I didnt and could figure out where I was supposed to go and when I thot I did I jumped in the total opposite direction I was supposed to go... Yet I love the unlockable you get hehehehehehe

Completely agree! It's a timed run that I, *for once*, enjoyed. It's challenging, possible to be done (even though it takes you some time to check exactly where you need to jump from/to) and rewarding in the end! I was really pleased when I got it done!

I'm sure you'll be able to do it too, after you get your jumps right! Let us know how it goes!

thanks a lot for your help guys! I finally made it.

I am now at the OBELISK OF KHAMOON.

I just can't seem to reach for the 3rd relic where lara needs to swing until she reaches the silver part of the wall and then jump backwards.

I hope you can also help me with this..

What? So that checkpoint is pretty much useless and I have to redo the checkpoint before that and pray that I get it right? Did some of you guys start from that checkpoint? I've done it about 30 times and I still can't get the darn thing! Ugh Thanks in advance.

well according to BPanther; she made it by starting from the checkpoint after the cut scene so I guess it is possible;

I had a saved game and I restarted from the top where you have to use the grapple first to reach the lever.
