I am home!

I made it through a 21 hrs shift!

We are still alive!

None of my employees or customers got hurt, arrested, abducted, trampled at any of my stores.

I had 4 1/2 sleep and now it's back to work again.

Black Friday maybe over but the holiday shopping season is just beginning.

Glad you survived I'm rather enjoying this Black Friday thing, got a few new games on Steam this week. Just need to find some time to play them now

2 weeks until the madness is here again and this year will be crazier than before!!

Why?

Many retailers are opening on Thanksgiving Day instead of Black Friday to get a head start on the sales.

We won't open until 4 am on Friday morning.

Also, the Playstation 4 comes out this Friday!

XBox One comes out next Friday!

Everyone will want one and inventory is limited.

If you didn't pre-order and pre-paid for one months ago, you are pretty much out of luck!

I'm home after a 22 hours shift!! Whooooooohoooooo!!

There were several incidents of violence and fights and arrests at stores across the country, most of them Wal Mart!

it seems that the quality of the clientele goes hands to hands with the violence that occurred at those Wal Marts.

Wal Mart tends to attract lower income, less educated, lower social level people to their stores on Black Friday.

We didn't have any fights or even verbal arguments at any of my stores.

Our clientele are mostly white collar educated higher socio-economical level folks.

No one tried to cut in line or physically keep another person from a merchandise or rush the front door in a disorderly manner.

Most of the incidents that occurred at Wal Mart this year were the results of people acting like animals, cutting in line and creating problems and starting fights.

Someone told me Walmart starts sales Thursday morning at 6am. Yet online everything I have read it says 6pm Thursday.

One way or the other,this is getting beyond rediculous.

We are still closed on Wednesday and Thursday as we have been doing for years now.

I refuse to stay open on Thursday and make my employees miss out on the Holiday and time with their families.

I just found out my schedule for Thansgiving week. I am off Sat. and Monday meaning I work thru Thanksgiving. The bad part is after I get off at 7am,I have to be back at the store at 6pm for the Black "Thursday" sale.

I won't be able to see my folks that day unless it is for a quick breakfast and then I go straight to bed.

That sucks I think the internet is the cause for store upping the game imo. Gives a reason to go to the store I guess...

You won't see me in any of them lol.

Even Fry's (I HATE THEM more than I HATE BEST BUY but not as much as I hate Wal Mart and Target) is open on Thanksgiving Thursday this year at 5 pm.

They have never open on Thanksgiving Thursday before.

The party guilty for starting this opening on Thanksgiving Thursday was Wal Mart 4 years ago!

I was at Central Market today and they already have the Christmas decorations up: wreaths over the meat and seafood glass cases, strings of lights throughout the store, giant candles and ornaments hanging from the ceilings, etc.

A big tall fully decorated and lit up tree in the entrance.

We haven't even had Thanksgiving yet.

They couldn't wait until Thanksgiving weekend was over a week from now before putting up the Christmas lights and decorations?

2 days off (tomorrow and Thursday) and then it's party time starting at 3 am on Friday!

Well tomorrow is the day (for me that is). When I get off Friday morn ,J7 will be starting his Black Friday.

BTW, they changed my schedule. Instead of working 6p to 7a, I will be 5p to 6a.
