Once a day, whether I am just reading my Yahoo Email or I could be on Facebook or in an online forum;

the hard drive would start running and then this would pop up.

I clicked okay and it goes away but the hard drive would start running again and a second identical one would pop up.

I click okay and it would go away too and then the hard drive would stop.

Google says it's something associated with the Printer; I don't have any Printer connected to this laptop nor do I have any Printer software for any particular model Printer installed on this laptop.

It's annoying when it comes on; during the time the hard drive starts running and this thing pops up twice and I click okay twice to make it go away, sometime it's 2 min and sometime it's 5 min.

During that time, I can't do anything.

The mouse cursor moves but I can't click on anything in my browser and if I minimize the browser, it won't let me remaximize again.

I also can't open any programs either.

I did a full anti virus and anti spyware scan and it found nothing; I thought maybe this was a virus or spyware but it's not.

I don't think it's strictly related to the printer, because I often get a similar error when I'm using Internet Explorer 6 on my work computer (no choice unfortunately, it's the only browser our database will work with). It seems to happen most often with Facebook. Make sure your Java is up-to-date, I'm sure that outdated Java's causing some of the problems on my work computer.

my Java is up to date (I get it from Dunkin Donuts every morning ) and yes,

I noticed it happens most often in Facebook especially when I am playing Farm Town!

Check to see if you have something called "Print Me Internet Printing" Installed, it may have its own printer-type drivers which are causing a fault. Uninstall it. Also go to Accessories/Run/ & type msconfig.exe Go to the Services Tab. Check the box next to "Hide all Microsoft Services". See if there's any printer drivers loading. If you uncheck anything choose "Apply". Then go to your Startup tab in that same box. Look for anything printer-related there. Choose "Apply" if you make any changes. Then choose ok. It'll ask you to Restart. If you want to restart later, that's fine. When you restart, you may see a message box named "System Configuration Utility". Just check the box that says "Don't show this message again" and click ok.

Thats a null pointer issue. Its trying to read/write or address some data at memory address zero.

Could be a badly behaved programmed or a bug. make sure you have updated everything to latest version and have the latest drivers and firmware install.

Remove UN-install programmers that you don't use, might help and other waste of time crap, like all google programs, and tool bars, yahoo tools bars etc. . .

Actual once you load a goolge (who are actually the NSA) program into your PC, its difficult to remove it, ever.

I've got a problem with my computer. A week ago i got one of them smartphones, an LG Escape. Well i plug it up to my USB port, so i could put some music on it. Windows 7 recognizes it and then goes through the process of installing drivers for the new device. Well half of the drivers didn't install, i exited that process when it was done. I finished my task of putting music on my phone and then disconnected. Now every time my computer starts up and after windows loads, its looking for a device driver and all i get is it failed to install. I check the status and all i see is a window with it saying Unknown device Failed to install. Is there some way to fix this problem.

You may want to go to the phone manufacturer's website & download the windows driver. Sometimes the driver that Windows finds isn't compatible.

I did that just now and my phone checks out fine. But after i restarted my computer, the driver install thing came up again, I waited for it to finish. Then i went into the device manager and looked under Network Adapters and found a Unknown adapter and i uninstalled it. I restarted again after that and the device search didn't come up. But looking in the device manager, it still shows unknown even though i uninstalled it so it has to be something else.

I would go to accessories and system tools and roll it back using system restore to a date before you tried to install the device.
