I'm at the QTE part

where Lara crosses the support beam towards the wrecked truck and a bad guy leaps out and grabs her and tries to yank her off into the ravine. It should just be a simple left joystick move of back and forth, and no matter how many times I've tried, no matter how fast or slow or timed I wiggle it, he still chucks her over the edge!

What am I doing wrong?

what system are you playing on?

When you are trying to break free of that guy, there's a part where you must press the interact button. For PS3 its triangle, you have to press that and Lara kicks the guy and he falls off the bridge.

I'm on the PS3, and the prompt for triangle doesn't even come up like it did for the other QTEs. I just keep wiggling the joystick and nothing happens, and down she goes. It's really frustrating. At this point, I'm wondering if it isn't a bug.

I agree, the timing is pretty fine on this QTE on the PC too. I had to have loads of goes to hit the interact button at the exact right moment, but it was possible, eventually. It sounds like you may have to guess when to hit the triangle, so good luck!
