In the first combat, in the multi level building, there is a patch of highlighted floor on the second level, when you use survival instinct. Can anyone tell me what to do to break through it? I presume that's what is supposed to happen, but I can't work out how to do it. And I'm a bit puzzled as to why it's highlighted at all.. Thanks

I don't know of any floor sections, but there are a couple of sections in the walls that are barracaded. You would need something to combine with your rope arrows to get through them. I do know you get this item fighting a big armored giant, on the deck of the Endurance wreck.

Thanks for replying Kratos. But this isn't a barricade, as such. The battle takes place on the floor level of a three story building, where the solarii are trying to hoist a generator up with a pulley. You can target the pulley and drop the generator on several of them. To locate the action, Lara has just come through a tunnel, from a huge gun turret, and goes through a small gap, and then steam prevents her going back into the tunnel. If you use survival instinct, you can see a see a large section of floor (2nd level) on the right, highlighted. I had a look at ADIHD's video walkthrough, it's number 26. He doesn't do anything with the floor patch tho' like me he tried shooting it, grenades etc, and eventually leaves it. It's a minor point, but a small irritation....lol.

So i went back and played the area, playing a file i have already completed the game. I saw the floor section there, looks like it can be taken down, but probably not from above.

I then found the way back to the Endurance wreck, the dead body of that big armored giant still laying there.

Right, then what? Sorry, it seems as if you were about to reveal something important. Am I missing something, it wouldn't be the first time...lol Thanks again for taking the trouble to reply.
