the compound bow allows u to make rope bridges into climbable walls its an upgrade in itself .. now as for the game not showing it being upgraded thats exactly what happened to me, it said i had it but the visual was still the longbow so i unfortunately had to restart bc the compound bow is needed to advance in the level .. not sure if this is exactly what your going through but i hope it helps oh and as for the tear away doors now that is an upgrade u get from a boss defeat as soon as you get onto the endurance.. good luck

yes this is exactly what happened and im playing on the 360 .. needless to say i had to start over but managed to get back and finish the game within 24hrs .. YAY!!

well ive done that but i checked into the walk through and its skipped me through mutiple parts in this area by doing what i did.. and its also got me past the part where i recieve the compound bow so looks like ill just have to start this game over seeing as i cannot continue where i am now.. thanks for the help though

ok so im down on the beach and its highlighted to go to the ship being worked on .. well i went to the left of the beach and worked my way over to the the far side where the shipwreck is before i went to the ship that was being worked on .. needless to say when i get to the highlighted area it does nothing and as i was making my way to the shipwreck side there was a conversation on the radio saying lara was on her way to meeting them as if i had already been to the highlighted area and talked to them which i hadnt.. so now im stuck and unable to proceed .. any help would be very grateful
