Well, after watching the trailer, I'm even more pumped to play the game considering the fact that I haven't played the very first TR game whatsoever. Coming Spring 2007.... and winter has just officially started roughly 7 or 8 days ago here in North America......

There are a number of ways of finding what video card and how much RAM you have. One way is to click on "Start"; you should see "Run" --- click on this and in the space provided type: dxdiag. Your computer's DirectX Diagonostic Tool will pop open. The System tab contains your processor (CPU) info and your memory (RAM). Clicking the Display tab will show you what Nvidia chipset set/card you have installed. Now, as for your motherboard, one way is to open your case and the other is to download said program provide by j7wild. There is another way but that means going into your BIOS settings --- that'll complicate things; we won't get there.

It would help to know what you have for your current CPU and the speed it's at, your current motherboard and video card (I'm assuming both to be AGP too). You wouldn't want one of these to be the bottleneck. I would highly recommend at least 1 gig of RAM btw.

Nvidia's latest flagship card 8800 GTX and GTS. My brother has the GTS version and it runs the next Gen graphics on Legend as smooth as butter. Note however that these latest cards are only PCI-Express compatible and not AGP. In other words, getting either of these vid cards requires that you upgrade your motherboard to support PCI-Express and might as well upgrade the CPU tool (Dual Core recommended) and at least 2 gigs of RAM, ie. if you haven't already.....

RPG goodness in the form of Neverwinter Nights 2 I'm locked into this game for at least 40 hours --- and then some

That's too bad. Legend looks more polished with SM 3.0, as with the heroine and the world around her. I feel more immersed in the game and the environment that corresponds to it. (I've also tried Oblivion and all I can say is "Wow!". Going to try F.E.A.R. next followed by its expansion F.E.A.R.: Extraction Point)

My brother has just completed his upgrade on his new computer, the final piece of hardware being Nvidia's latest flag ship card GeForce 8800 series. He bought the GTS version (GTX is the higher one) to complement his Conroe cpu Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz and 2 gigs of RAM. Playing on the Next Generation Content on is silky smooth and beautiful to look at especially when playing on a widescreen monitor. I can't wait to upgrade soon myself! (Oblivion will be a marvel to look at. It's the best looking game bar none in 2006)

IGN should have categorized the list into the different genres in games. Too many PS2 games and not enough PC games. Deus Ex Thief Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight The Longest Journey The Operative: No One Lives Forever These are some of the games I would've personally chosen and would've liked to see on the list. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic It's a first person action-rpg. I'm having a blast. You have your choice of swords (Warrior), stealth (Assassin) or sorcery (Mage), or even a little of all or two of the other or..... well, it's your choice really. ATM, I'm concentrating on my melee skills. For those who enjoy FPS games, this may be a great diversion from what we traditionally play.

Obi-Wan on the X-Box Sin Episodes: Emergence Episode 1

I wanted the PC version but unfortunately, it wasn't available but it was released on all the other gaming platforms. Having an X-Box, I was tempted to get this version but decided against this. I guess I'll be waiting indefinitely since the stores I went to don't even know when it's coming in. Very disappointing....

Not exactly the full game since it's the demo, but I've a few minutes ago just finished Broken Sword: The Angel of Death, an adventure game. This is the fourth entry in the Broken Sword series of adventure games.

I've heard about it only because I bought the DVD movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and in the supplements section, it showed gameplay elements from the game itself.

Oh Man It's a pretty good mod level BP. I hope you get a crack at it as soon as you get your hands on your copy soooo many miles away.......

Troop movements and beach heads have been established throughout the island. We’re not sure whether they’re anticipating you or something more dangerous. Expect heavy fire, reinforcements and the slim chance of a migrane. Stealth and speed should be your MO. The island is a huge expanse of unkown territory, so tread carefully and be resourceful.

Yes, being Darth Revan; I must confess that i didn't see this coming and yet there were subtle hints throughout the game.

If you haven't got one, try using a pc gamepad --- I did; they're quite cheap these days. Yeah, seeing that dagger flash is a must if you want to make short work of the enemy, not too maention that's its a very cool move and quite satisfying when accomplished perfectly!

There is a StarForce removal program avaialble for download but I don't know personally if it really does remove certain drivers installed in your computer. I personally have not had any problems with this particular copy protection. If anything, I simply re-format my hard drive.

You gotta love those save anywhere slots --- but re-play half the game?!! Now that's perseverence! Heck, I did the same thing when I screwed up somewhere along KotOR 2 --- quite a number of possibilities there too. BTW, what did you think of the twist near the end? I thought it was pretty cool.

The Longest Journey also is no longer available at any game stores in my area. And I assure, the game is not outdated. It is your typical and classic point-and-click adventure game with beautifully rendered 2-D backgrounds although there will be times when the character looks pixellated from afar. This is great story telling at its best. It starts off with a bang right from the get go and pulls you in ever so surely. I eagerly look forward to your thoughts, not just on TLJ, but also for Dreamfall.

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey....! For starters, yes I heartliy recommend this adventure game but I also highly recommend that you first get and play The Longest Journey. This is a trilogy therefore it is, well.... mandatory that you play the first game. The Longest Journey is by far, the best adventure game in existence (though there are some who'll beg to differ) bar none. You will care for the game's heroine, April Ryan, and by game's end, I guarantee that you'll wish the game had not ended. I personally went through, lol, withdrawal symptoms of sorts, upon beating the game --- I wanted more....! There is a lot, and I mean, a lot of reading to do. The story telling is superb, the story very immersive. You only have but to read the many and all positive reviews (soooo many btw, which I all read, heehee). This is really a wonderful game! As for Dreamfall, while an adventure game, it plays more like a cinematic game. There are less, less puzzles to be found and gameplay is roughly 10 -12 hours. TLJ took me about 30- 40 hours to complete. While not as immersive, it is an enjoyable game to play.
