Oh, that didn't cross my mind actualy, but either! Although I always thought the PS version would be more challenging with those 'Save Crystals' - I save every 30 seconds or so!!

I feel you Lm!! It was horrific! There must be some reason why these crazy people like it tho I guess. I suspect we'll be asking them for help tho' Ok.. so.. I was going to wait but TR3 is blatantly going to win! How bout.. those of us who don't already have it installed can spend the next few days sorting that out and checking it works. Then some time next week or next weekend we can get going on it. I'll start a new thread and we can just discuss thoughts, help, cool things, good screenshots, memories, and swear words, as we make our way through the game.

Sorry it took me a while to get 'round to this, it's been busy going back to uni and what not, but now i'm back in a routine and the days are shorter, i'm getting in a TR mood! My vote has gone to Tomb Raider 3 because - I've never completed it - I always said I hated it, but so many people like it that there must be something there to like However, i'm open to replay any of them. Vote away! We'll look at the results next week.

Absolutley! I agree. I'd wait as long as it takes to make sure the game is good. It's not much of a 'Tomb Raider Fix' if it's crap! Really excited about the TR8 news, looking forward to that already! and the anniversary one has the potential to be excellent. Wohoooooooooooooo! Happy days again for us TR fans!

Also voted 'No' - Thought she looked good in legend, and whilst I'm sure she'll look even more 'lifelike' next time, I'd want them to keep the same overall look. Well you can jump up and down and wave your knickers in the air if it makes you happy but it's missing the point a little... I take it the reason you want to play in blocks is because you don't like some bits? One of the reasons I wanted to do this was because it's another chance to have a go at some of those 'bits we hate'. For example, the first time I played TR2 I *hated* the ship levels. Now i've played through that game about 3 times and each time those levels grew on me more. I appreciate them a lot more now. I also hated the London levels of TR3, but who knows? Maybe if quite a few of us ended up playing through those again, discussing levels as we went along, we'd be more open minded and maybe they could grow on us. I just thought it'd be fun to experience some of the old games again, but to make it more fun by all doing it at the same time. It'll get a bit of discussion going and we can share some of those great TR moments again. And, Mr. Wild, with a baby on the way you wont have many more chances to play these games properly for a long while, so I'd make the most of 'em while you can ; )

Everyone on this board seems to have finished legend fairly quickly, which has left the TR section of the forum quite quiet. I think this is probably to do with the game being a touch easier and shorter than we're used to, less people needed help. Anyhow.. I was just thinking of something 'Tomb Raidery' we could do to keep us in the mood until the Anniversary game is released and came up with this... My idea is to get us all playing one of the first five games again - We spend a week or two deciding which game to play, maybe based on which game the majority seem to have played the least, which one we haven't played recently, ect., and then starting on a certain date, we all play through it again, as if it were just released. It'll let us go over some of the 'forgotten' bits of each game again, and we'll all have something in common to talk over. Firstly I want to know what people think. I know everyone's busy with work and school etc., but part of the idea is to play at a leisurly pace, I'm not suggesting we have a race. (I hate when people rush through Tomb Raider games, it takes all the soul out of it) Anyhow, my other reason for this is, some of us perhaps haven't finished every TR game and need a kick up the arse to do them properly. Feedback please!

I don't know, what about the mess with their CD anti piracy software? They are a bit Orwellian when it comes to controling what people can do with their software. Having said that, I think you're right about it not being true. It seems a bit *too* far fetched. Would still rather have a Nintento Wii......

True! and that cool 'buullllluuummmmm' noise that played. I too was really happy to see the secrets come back, and also really missed them in AOD! The gold secrets in Legend were awesome.

Well done for finishing it!! And hmm, it did cross my mind, but I decided that because it was just a lil' puzzle rather then actualy being a discussion of any of the TR games, i'd put it here. Bit of a grey area (that's my excuse anyway!)

I'm not sure how much truth is in this but I just read that PS3 games will only work on one PS3.. I.e. Once you've played a game on your console you can't play it on anyone elses - so no swapping with mate and no buying second hand games. Would certainly match up with Sony's usualy stance on this kind of thing..
