Tomb Raider: 10th Anniversary Edition
Sorry, guys, that was of June 16th, a LONG time ago, and I haven't heard of any news of it since then.

Screenshots!
Yes, I saw the "Lara deaths" video. Not at all gruesome. It actually looks rather comic. I LOVE the London bug too.

What's your favourite Tomb Raider
Were that Legend were its graphical qualities combined with the gameplay of the previous Tomb Raiders, it would be my favorite. As such, however, it is my 2nd least favorite. Outrageously easy, and a flawed outfits system (that I hope somebody releases a trainer or a utility for). My top favorite is TR3 and always will be.

Some of My TR Photoshop Work
Well, I tried an experiment with the TR3 engine with my friend, and as luck would have it, I've perfected the Tomb Raider 3 multiplayer engine! I'm bartymark, btw. Actually, it's just a Photoshop modification, but I got your heart racing for a moment there, didn't I?

Tomb Raider: The Krasnova Project
Recently I constructed a story, starring Lara Croft. In retrospect I believe I did a pretty bad job with it. However, I never received any criticism on Katie's forum, so I decided to post my work here and leave it open to comment. 15+. Some highly graphic scenes. Overview: British Intelligence agent Milo Venn hires Lara Croft to shut down a decommissioned military facility taken over by terrorists. Ordinarily Lara would refuse, but in this case, he offers an incentive: they're holding a valuable artifact. Lara realizes that this task is more difficult than she had surmounted in the past. Favourite TRL Outfits
Yes, but to avoid inciting the wrath of the Jack Thompson crew, you only get to use it in Croft Manor (and if you've 100% completed the game, you may have also completed the manor puzzles, which leaves you with nothing to do with it).

future TR ideas
Thank you for making a topic like this. I will bring this into consideration and post a long, detailed account of what I think should be in the newest Tomb Raider game when I have the free time.

The TR3 In Game Thread
I disagree. London was probably the most difficult part of the game, and also the most fun. Exploring old labyrinths and navigating through tunnels was a lot of fun. You also have to admire the amount of architectural effort put into it. I think that HSC was a bit of a hurdle too high to jump without a walkthrough, though. I see that one of the only reasons people dislike TR3 is because it's the most difficult of the series.

state your opinion
Waste of time, waste of money. Out of sight, out of mind. If I wanted Angel of Darkness I would get Angel of Darkness, not a hybrid point-and-click adventure game. That's my opinion.

Lara Croft vs. Xena: Warrior Princess
The Dark Ages are over. Lara Croft is a clear winner. What good is a sword against Desert Eagles and a pistol?

What you like or didn't like about Legend.
Oh boy, this has been just the kind of thread that I've been waiting for. Go to the TR8 forum for a more detailed account of my rants. Liked: 1. Revitalization of graphics 2. Mouseview perspective 3. New outfits 4. Some of Alister and Zip's comments. Disliked: 1. Chopping up of Lara's abilities in some areas and arbitrary adding in others. I.E., Lara could no longer sprint, hold breath for 60 seconds, hold out for longer periods of time in ice or toxic gas 2. Extremely short level and game time. What did I use up 20 GB on my hard drive for? 3. The arcade-like sequences 4. NONVIOLENCE! When Lara falls from a cliff, I want to see her fall, don't dim out the camera! Look at what the previous TRs did. 5. Although the outfits were added, for some reason you couldn't use the swimsuit in the other levels. Why have it, then? 6. Some of Alister and Zip's comments. 7. Consistently easy puzzles (and being provided hints). 8. Having everything at your disposal. 9. Although the graphics were good, they certainly weren't paramount. Considering that Tomb Raider Legend is in the newgen of dynamic lighting (per Half Life 2), they certainly could have done better. 10. Arcade-like vehicle sequences. 11. The cliffhanger ending. See Dislike 2. 12. A very small selection of weapons. In this game, you get the pistols, MP5, M16, and the shotgun. In TR3, you get pistols, MP5, M16, shotgun, harpoon gun, rocket launcher, grenade launcher, etc. 13. Doing away with flares in exchange for the PLS. 14. The fact that EIDOS will release a game exactly like this in a couple of years, and fail.

The TR3 In Game Thread
I believe I beat the game about 7 times. I still like to play the game: most especially the Lost City of Tinnos level. I set the Brightness to low and crank all of the volumes up to 10 (making sure my speakers are on full blast). Nowadays, however, I stick to making TR3 levels with DXTRE3D 2.

Tomb Raider 8
Making a direct sequel to Tomb Raider 7 is IMO an inconceivable mistake. On forums like this there are many, many complaints from people regarding the instability of the interface and the engine. Straight up releasing a sequel on the exact same engine will merely result in lower scores on the game reviewers. There was nothing wrong with the previous storyline, just the engine it was released on. I can't think of anyone who was completely satisfied with the gaming engine (if there is anyone, please say your name, and what were the best parts of it). I sincerely hope that EIDOS has not looked at the results of their first game, and thought "That's pretty good, let's make a duplicate of it, same length, same engine, same everything, but a follow-up to the story." I prepared a rant: That's just my opinion. Yours all undoubtedly differ because I'm a freakish HL2 cynic and you're all happy-go-lucky.
