I had heard it was cut down for a pg-13 release but didn't realize at first it was the studios doing. I can't really say I'm surprised, they will do stuff like that all the time. The Meg (2018) I had been looking forward to this for some time. I have all of the books and totally enjoy them. This had the potential to be like Jaws but they decided to simply make it a popcorn flick. There was one thing in the trailers that spoiled part of the movie. Fortunately it had some really good CGI as well as the 3D production. 3/5

Serenity-yes please. Since we can't get a new season of Firefly, how about finally a sequel to the movie. I'm sure fans would love another adventure featuring "Mrs. Malcolm Renolds". I also really liked the Tron movies as well. At one time there was talk of a sequel but they dropped it. National Treasure...I still want to know what was on page 47!!!

Ready Player One Have seen this twice in 3D. The 1st was simply Real D 3D, the 2nd was Imax 3D. Partly I wanted to compare them. Plus try to find more of the geeky elements that link to my nostalgic side. It is very much a visual feast that takes you back in time to your younger years. A part of me really wants to get this when it comes out on 3D Blu-ray ,but the other part doesn't know if I should. 3.5/5

People were saying it was better than James Cameron's Titanic. Well, I had to see that for myself. I have agree with them. In fact I think JC saw this and copied a good portion of it for his version. 4.5/5

Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle (2017) 4 teenagers end up playing a video game called Jumanji get sucked into the game. They play the game to survive on an island. Ok,first off it is a sequel to the original as it shows the original board game/box at the beginning before things change. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Action...check Comedy...check Awkward moments...check 3.75/5 ,maybe 4/5

I got my tickets at the theater box office when I got there 2 hours early. I was expecting a decent size crowd but not so big for the 3D showings. I always go for 3D. There was a pretty good turnout for both 2D & 3D. Yet we still had plenty of seats still available. We don't have reserve seating around here. They are all first come- first served. You have to show up early to get a good seat. Most of the theaters around here are AMC now. .

Last night... Star Wars: The Last Jedi What can I say...I liked it! 4.5/5

For the most part ,the 3D version was not worth it. It was a totally awesome and worthy sequel to t h e original,but they never filmed it with 3D in mind. There were a few shots that looked cool in 3D, yet they were few. I look forward to seeing it again when it comes out on Blu.

Had a bunch of Christmas movies that I'd never seen before in my Netflix queue since last year. I finally decided to start watching them last week. The 12 Dogs of Christmas -5/5 The 12 Dogs of Christmas: Great Puppy Rescue- 4/5 Jingle All The Way 2 - 3.5/5 Deck The Halls - 3/5

Justice League 3D - it had good development and some cool moments. There was not much I didn't like about it. All in all it was better than BvS. The 3D was pretty good for the most part. It had some weak 3D that was probably due to having to do reshoots. 3.5/ 5

Didn't realize this had been a few years since the last time we survived Black Friday ,or maybe ,as it has been promoted to, "Black Thursday". I can already say "I survived it" as I was off today. For the 1st time in my 22 years at Wal-Mart, I am off Thanksgiving Day. By the time I go in tomorrow, the sales will be over.
