Acid_Rush's post No, no, no, I totally disagree , the Mortal Kombat franchise has never managed to return to the brilliance of MK1 and 3...the original arcade Mortal Kombat was the BEST version and far surpassed similar games of the time like Street Fighter. Blade's post I made it to chapter 3 of this game. Now there is a psycho maid in pursuit of Fiona, maid's name is Daniella and she wields a very big piece of glass in her hand, her intent of course is to kill Fiona. Some old guy just became young and he's after Fiona's "Azoth". Hmm... Gabbi's post o ya i always wondered... What is a "Azoth" ??? Morpheanne's post "Azoth" is the essence of life. Fiona's grandfather created two clones, his sons - Fiona's father and uncle. Fiona's father, Ugo, met her mother, so when Fiona was born, she was the only one left in the family that had the essence of life (She was real, not a clone). So, the only way her grandfather could become young is if he had the real essence. That's what the whole story is about. I hope that I wrote that out right, lol. So, I'm nearly finished, but I'm stuck. It's that part after I've pushed Auroleus into the lava pit and he came out again - on fire! So I'm running from the guy and crouching every few seconds so she doesn't get knocked flying from the earthquake. Then I get to this cutscene and a freaking statue falls on her! How do I make her move it?

Blade's post This game is close to being like Silent Hill. Main character is named Fiona Belli. She is in a castle and doesn't know how she ended up there, by playing the game you unravel the mystery of her getting there and what happened to her parents. Fiona doesn't use weapons, unlike Heather from SH3, she can use items and can place them on the ground. You just have to lure the enemy to step on the item that is placed. But what separates this game from Silent Hill, you have a canine friend to help you. Fiona helps this dog and the two form a friendly bond. Hewie is the dog's name and he helps in finding items or deadly traps, retrieving items if you command him to. Hewie will also attack on command if Fiona encounters any enemies. This is a game to be played with the lights out, it adds more suspense. Acid Rush's post Is it good gameplay? I was going to get it but lots of reviews said it was a bit same-y and the controls got annoying. Blade's post I think the gameplay is good. I've gotten to the part where you have the dog, Hewie, to help you search for things and he also retrieves items that you can't get to...you have to command him to "GO!" and he'll do it. I also don't look at reviews, if I don't like a game after I rent it then I certainly don't buy it. Morpheanne's post It depends on each person and what they like. Someone might say that some game is really good, but the other might say it's horrible. Gamespot only gave Obscure a 6.1, but I love that game! I've been looking at Haunting Ground for a while. It looks really good. I've tried hiring it, but no video store around my area has a copy and we don't anywhere that's just specifically for game hiring anymore, it closed down due to lack of business. More like a bad location if you ask me, lol. You can state why you're deciding to purchase a console or just vote and leave. If you post why please try to refrain from going into a console war, okay? But I know you people won't do that because you're such nice people =) Anyways, my purchase will be the Playstation 3. Favourite franchises are coming out on it, it's a real step up from the PS2 and it seems to have the best of both the X360 and Wii. Really very excited about it and really looking forward to some of the games like Tekken 6, Resistance and Assassin's Creed.
