Nina has always been one of my favourite characters in Tekken (the others going to Ling, Michelle, Yoshi and Julia) so it was no surprise that I rushed out and got this on day of release, LoL. A bit too many loading times but apart from that it's all good =)

Ms.Croft's post "Nothing! But, like I said, we're going to have to get to the basement! Unfortunately, the only way to the basement is via the emergency stairs at the other side. Which means, we could meet a lot of hell along the way. Especially that...thing." "Speaking of which," Mileena started, as I picked myself up. "Where is it? And why are there no blood marks on the floor, or any sign of trauma?" "Who cares," Aidan said, closing in with Angela hot on his heels. "Let's just get out of her A.S.A.P!" "Best idea I've heard all day!" Angela said, looking at us all. "Demi, would you care to lead the way?" I nodded, and walked past her towards the stairs at the otherside. The route there was painless, and quiet. I opened the door, but my ease was soon knocked out of me. "OH you have GOT to be kidding me!" I screamed as I watched the stairs in front of me, engulfed in flames. Half of the stairway wasn't even there. "What now?" Mileena asked. "Any Ideas?" I asked back. "I've got 2!" She replied. Multiple Choice @ Mileena: 1. Use the grapple hook to lower each member, but leave one member at top of stairs, forced to find their own route. 2. Tell everyone to try and jump, and traverse your way down. (Important note: This one is extremely important, and I need to unfold the events. Thanks) Morpheanne's post Ooohh, umm, ahhh....I think 1 is probably safest for all, but the second is tempting...Oh, number 1... I'll glady jump as the last person... Ms.Croft's post (OOC: He he, it's not your choice lol, let's see what would have happened if you chose number 2) "Let's try to jump, and make our way down that way!" Mileena suggested. I could sense some doubt in her voice though. "Ok then, it's your choice!" I said back, looking down the large gap. "Who would like to go first?" "I'll go first!" Aidan said, "If I can get to the otherside, I can outstretch a hand to help you ladies." Me, and Mileena looked at each other with smirks. "Sure, go ahead!" I replied. He nodded, and walked towards the door. Then he paced backwards 5 steps, and breathed heavily. "Ok...here..I..go." He stood there for a long time. "Ok then...go!!" I replied. "Umm...ok..." He looked at me with doubt in his eyes, and I looked back with confidence. His face changed quickly, and mimicked my look of confidence. His feet moved faster, and faster towards the door until before I knew it, his figure had disappeared down the hall. "Oh my God!!" Angela shouted, running towards the door. "Oh yes, I'm so glad you're safe!" I smiled, and joined Angela at the door, and sure enough, there was Aidan safe and sound. "Ok! Who's next?" Aidan shouted up to us through the flames. "That's me!" Mileena said, running towards the door. She leapt through it, forcing me and Angela to move aside. When I looked back, Mileena too was safe, and had also forced Aidan to move. "Me or you next?" I asked looking towards Angela. "You!! Definately you!" I smiled, and backed away from the door. When I felt I was far enough away, I looked back towards the flame covered door. "See you there Angela!" I said, running towards the door. As I reached the point of no return, I leapt with all my strength towards Mileena. She was forced to move out of the way. I landed safely, and hit the wall with my shoulder. Wincing in pain, I looked at Mileen. "Hey...how are you?" She smiled back, and looked back towards the door. "Ok Angela, your turn!!" Aidan got up, and walked in front of me to the edge of the gap. "I'll catch you if you don't quite make it, he reassured her. She nodded back, and disappeared backwards. "Well this is going to be.." My words were cut off by the sudden appearance--and scream-- of Angela leaping through the air. "She didn't take enough steps back!!" I shouted to Aidan, as he outstetched his hand. Luckily he caught her, but the force of gravity, and her weight brought him plummeting down. His body began to slide off of the stair ledge. I side jumped, and caught his right leg. This sent him into the wall, and weakened his grip on Angela. "MILEENA HELP!" She snapped back to reality, and grabbed his other leg. With our full strength, me and Mileena pulled Aidan, and Angela to safety. "Oh thank Zeus for that!" I said, wiping my brow. "Hey Mileena, where's your shotgun?" She looked to where she had left it, and closed her eyes in aggravation. It had fell into the flames, lost for good. "Ah well...let's get moving!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Aidan, your grapple hook!" Aidan looked towards Mileena, grabbing it out of his backpack. "Let's use it to lower each person!" "Great idea!" He said smiling to her. "Good idea," I started, "It would be great if we all could get down there safely!" "What do you mean?" Angela said looking at me with hands on hips. "Whoever lowers each person is going to be left at the top by themselves, with no way down!" Aidan's smile dropped, and he sighed. "So." Everyone turned to Mileena. "I'll lower you all, after all, I am the one with the shotgun!" "Mileena no!" Angela ran up to her with a look of sorrow. Mileena just looked at her, and patted her on the shoulder. "I'll be fine...now let's go! Time's a wasting!" She grabbed the grapple hook out of Aidan's hands, and walked towards the door. "Who's first?" "I'll go first!" Aidan said, "If there's danger down there, it might as well be me!" Mileena nodded, and held out the hook for him to hold on to. He grabbed it, and like a professional mountain climber, began to back off the edge. When he was horizontal he nodded to Mileena. She pressed the button, and he began to descend slowly. "Ok, your turn!" Mileena looked at me, after lowering both Aidan, and Angela safely. "No," I replied, "Your turn!" "What?! No way, it was decided that I'd do it!!" Her face became contorted. "Yes, but I have access codes, and cards to reach the bottom, you however do not!" She sighed. "Fine, but you had better come meet us soon!" I smiled at her. "No doubt about it!" I grabbed the hook, and offered the hook to her. She clutched it with one hand, and backed towards the edge. "See you later!!" I released the grip, and lowered her to the floor. When she landed, her head turned towards mine. She looked worried. "Demi..." She muttered. "It's ok!! I'm not leaving you!!" She nodded in response, and led the others away from my site. Sighing, I turned back to the elevator's direction, and walked off. ~.~ "Yes, here they are!" I muttered, as the group of girls, and one boy headed my way. Slowly I stepped around the corner, and looked towards them. "Hello ladies, and of course man." "It's you!!" The man said to me. "We've seen you around..were you the one that gave us the lighter...and who defended us from that monster!" "Yes, yes...and yes!" "Who are you?" The woman with the shotgun said, taking a step towards me. "Why, I'm Ada Wong...nice to meet you! Say, where is the...other...one." "If you're talking about Demi, then she's back up there! She sacrificed herself to help us!" "Yes...sacrificed. You people are so naïve. She created the virus, sent it out to the world, and infected every one in this town! And before your next question, I was sent here to stop it!" There faces dropped. The shy one looked at me, and became aggresive. "Demi wouldn't do that! You're LYING!" "Fine fine...I am your only chance to get out of here, if you would like to follow me--and I strongly advice you do!" I slung my shotgun over my shoulder, and walked off down the hall. ~Bio~ Name: Ada Wong Age: ?? All other details classified. Deryk's post "Oi! wait a minute, Ada Wong" I shouted above the sound of fire crackling and debris falling "And just who did send you here? eh?...And do you even know where we're heading?" I asked. "Before we got seperated from Demi she told us of an escape route and that's where we're heading" I looked at Ada with a menacing look. "Thanks for your help and all, but we're sticking to our plan..Are you with me?" I asked looking toward Mileena and Angela. "I'm not going until I hear from Demi" Mileena said. " Ditto" Angela replied agreeingly. "You're a fool, if you think you can get out of that underground alive. It's crawling with those....Things!" Ada said with her back turned to us. The stair well was quicky becoming dangerous for us to stay there any longer. Ada was fully aware of this, She was playing a game with us..Waiting to see how long it'll take for us to deviate from our plan and follow her.

Horus' post Currently playing Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, and Mortal Kombat 2, because it came with the game.. haha. I Love Kung Lao.. hes soo awesome with the hat and his bunny. I want them so badly.. On Mortal Kombat 2, Shang Tsung is my favorite. Cant wait until the new one, Armageddon comes out this year. scoobysnax's post Done with RE3 now so i am on to xenosaga episode one. gotta brush up before the final chapter comes out. jedicri's post Still playing Oblivion, Hitman: Blood Money. I've just re-installed Far Cry having a blast re-playing it (can't wait for Crysis --- this game will up the ante that FC has established gameplay-, graphics- and A.I. -wise). Just finished playing LEGO: Star Wars 2 demo --- great fun for adults and kids alike! This picks up from where the first game left off and then some! As with the first, there is also a co-op mode where 2 players can play with each other. You may also mix and match characters' heads and torsos to created new and different characters such as Luke having C3P0's head, etc. Highly recommended! jedicri's post I had given the link but perhaps you may have missed it. Deryk's post (OCC: I was just wondering if this RPG is still living? I've just read through it and realised we had something really quite compelling here, IMO So, I guess I'll pick it up from where we are so far....?? ) Occ: I choose to listen to Demi and enter the code. "Sure, okay, I'll enter the code, but be alert...There's no telling what's behind this door" I said with nervous laughter. I approached the blood splattered keypad "Ergh, that's nasty" went to enter the code using my finger stopped then turn to face Angela who was watching with a sort of rather-you-than-me look on her face I returned that look with a grimace. I shook my head then decided not to use my bare hand, instead I drew my gun from my belt and opted to punched in the code using the barrel of my revolver. There was a silent pause as we all prepared ourselves. The door made a hissing sound then push back and finally parted open.. Morpheanne's post Nothing... It was completely empty... We all stepped in, one by one. "Where should we go, Demi? You know your way around the building" I asked her. "My office. It's on the 13th floor..." Demi said as she pressed the button for the 13th floor. "That's unlucky..." interrupted Angela "For some..." I replied with a grin "My office number is 667" Demi added "Ah. The Devil's neighbour" I replied, once again with a smirk. We heard a small ding come from the elevator speaker. Meaning we had reached the 13th floor. We held our guns at the ready as the doors began to slide open... (THE RPG LIVES!!! WHOOO!!!) Ms.Croft's post "Surely you mean 666? Well, anyway, I don't believe in superstition..it's all ways to control people's lifes! I follow my own route, not anyone else's!" The others looked at me with a "Oooo--kay!" kind of look. I pressed the blood-splattered 13--the only blood splattered button-- which glew a faint yellow under the claret. The rest of the team were extremely still next to me, I could even detect their nervous hearts. Several moans of the dead came, and went as we passed each floor. "10," Angela started, "11...12...13...14!!" The lift had continued to move past the floor we were designated too. It stopped at 14, but the door didn't open. "What's going on?!" Mileena asked, pressing the buttons frantically. "Let's try to pry open the doors!" Aiden said; placing his fingers into the gaps. I nodded, and waved the others to help. I joined Aidan's side, and Mileena with--a very nervous--Angela joined the other. "On 3," Aiden begun. "3...2...1!!" We each pulled as hard as we could but nothing happened. "OH it's USELESS!" Angela said, throwing her hands into the air. "This is never going to work, we're going to die.." A sudden bang hit the elevator doors, and we were all thrown back from the blast. Upon examining the door, I found that it had been dented by something very strong, and large. Another bang came shortly after, and the dent became bigger. I withdrew my gun along with the others. We had backed outselves against the elavator's rear wall. "Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God." Angela muttered under her breath, while holding her gun very shakily. Without warning the elevator began to move downwards. Stunned by the sudden shock, Angela had pulled the trigger, creating a hold shaped dent in the door. The elevator reached 13, and the doors opened into a hallway. Whatever that thing was, it was now directly above us. (OOC: Morph, you psychic, that was going to be the result anyway lol! Well done. Also, I've placed some very subtle/noticeable clues around. If you have them figured, then feel free to tell the other characters.) Morpheanne's post "Well...that was unexpected..." I said slowly as we stepped out of the elevator "Oh, by the way Demi - 666 is the Devil's number, 667 is his neighbour. Haha. But you're right - it is just silly superstition" I said with a laugh. "Forget the Devil numbers! What the hell was that above us?" Angela shrieked, looking towards Aiden. "Hey, don't look at me!" he replied, holding his hands in the air. "I'm not sure what it was either..." replied Demi "Unless...no, it couldn't have..." she mumbled as she began taking a few steps forward "Come on. It's this way". "Right behind you" I replied "Come on you guys" I said to the others as Demi and I began walking, with our guns at the ready. Deryk's post "What's so important in your office? is it going to get us out of this mess, Demi ?!" I bursted out. Mileena and Demi slowly turned to face Angela and I. I continued "I mean, we were just attacked and almost ripped to shreds by KING KONG!!...Well, it seemed like it was bloody king kong judging by those dents!" At that moment the lights began to flicker and a loud crashing noise was heard coming from behind us. We all turn to to see what the ruckus was it came from inside the elevator. " Dammit, me and my big mouth" I said walking backwards with my eyes on the elevator door then quickly turn to run grabbing Angela by the wrist.."C'mon, Angela..move it!" I cried out in a war cry. Just then the heavy metal doors was blasted from the elevator with tremendous force landing where Angela and I were standed just a split second ago...I didn't want to look at the monstrous abomination..All that mattered is that we got well clear of it. Demi and Mileena began running ahead of us... Ms.Croft's post "Well, at least it can't be that big if it can fit in an elevator!!" I shouted, as the monstrosity ran behind us. "You know what it is right? After all you were the one who helped create it right?!" Mileena said running beside me. "No," I panted, "I know the monsters I've created, but there are quite a few that big!!" I turned a corner, towards my office. The door was straight ahead, 20 feet away. "Come on Aidan, move faster!" I lurched towards the handle, and twisted it. To my surprise--and everyone's horror--the door was locked, with a keypad beside it. "DARN! I forgot about that!" "You know the pass right?!" Mileena said, looking towards me for any good sign. "I...I think." "You think!?" Angela screamed, running towards us with Aiden. "Give me a second!" "We don't have a second!" Aiden said, looking towards the hall, waiting for the monster. I looked towards the bloodstained keypads, and tried to remember it. I pressed 2-4-5 but nothing happened. "It had something to do with Half Life 2, a number that Alyx always entered on every keypad she came across. The rest looked at me with shocked expressions. I heard the monstor around the corner, and various cries of, "I can't look!", "Withdraw your weapon!!". After several seconds of frustrated memory searching, I punched the wall in anger. "It's okay!" Mileena said, touching my shoulder. "The only thing we can do now is shoot!" I nodded, and withdrew my weapon. As I turned to point towards the monster, a red falling object came into view. As the object landed, it began shooting at the monster with a fully loaded Riot gun. It recoiled in terror, and began backing off. This woman had appeared again, she was dressed in a long red dress, with high heels. Her hair was long, and dark, much like mine. Without even looking back, she pursued the monster around the corner. "Who is she?!" Aidan asked looking at me. "I...I have no idea!" I replied, mystified. "She looks about 35, if that's any help!" Angela said, looking down the hall. "Yes! It does help!" I turned around, and pressed 1-3-5 on the keypad. The light turned green, and a click was heard by everyone. Morpheanne's post "Quickly, everyone come in" Demi said as the door opened. We all went in and fell on the floor in a heap. "I'm exhausted!" Angela complained. "Well, I guess we can rest in here for a bit" I replied getting up "What's in here that'll help us out, Demi?" I asked, walking over to her while she fiddled with the computer at the desk. Deryk's post Demi had a frustrated look on her face typing away at her keyboard, she slammed her fist on the desk "GODDAMMIT!" she yelled out. " What is it?" Mileena asked "Some sorry son-of-a-b**ch has tampered with the outside connection, I can't contact any help from here" Demi explained "What?! what are we suppose to do now?" Mileena replied as she walked over to the desk. " Here, let me try" Mileena said nudging Demi off her seat. " Hey! What do you think you're doing? these aren't your everyday average computers, y'know" Demi said. "I certainly hope you know what you're doing" " Relax, I know a thing or two about computers" Mileena began typing furiously Demi watched in surprise. "AH HA!" Mileena exclaimed giving Demi a fright "I knew it!, someone deliberately cut off your connection from inside this building". "What?! How can that be? who would do this?..." Demi said incredulously letting her gaze down at her feet.."I don't understand.." she mumbled. "Gees, Mileena, where did you learn to do that?" I asked "I attended a very elite military school" She replied whilst looking up from the desk with a proud smirk on her face. "Uh huh, Yeah, yeah..This is all very impressive..But what the freakin' hell do we do now?!" Angela said with an annoyed impatient look on her face.."There has to be something in here that can help us other than that" she said pointing at the computer. I looked at Angela grinning at her and straightforward attitude. "Y'know, She does have a point". "Not long now, just gimme a few seconds, I need to track down the whereabout of this interference..." Mileena said sounding occupied. I drew my revolver opened the chamber and emptied out the used bullets "Well, I guess I'm totally spent" I said with a sigh. The sound of the empty casing hitting the floor woke Demi out of a daze, "Oh, I almost forgot the second reason why we're here" Demi said as she made her way to a metal cabinet and slid the sliding door out of the way to reveal a hidden weapon's storage with yet another delightful keypad.."Now, I think the number is..." Before Demi finished her sentence I quickly walked to the keypad and began kicking it, pushing my heel in as it struck the keypad causing it to spark and frazzle.The girls looked at me in shock even Mileena stopped what she was doing. The door then slowly opened allowing us access to a generous amount of ammo..I pocketed some magnum rounds and turned to Mileena "I bet they never taught you that in Military school" I said with a cheeky smirk. Mileena rolled her eyes.."YES!! I found it!" Mileena threw her fist in the air triumphently. She turned the monitor to Demi "Do you know where this is?" She said pointing at the screen. Ms.Croft's post I walked across to the computer, and looked towards the screen. "NO, no way are we going THAT way! It's a deathtrap! I mean, we would die!" Demi realized her nametag was on the desk near Mileena. She suddenly grabbed it, and threw it into her desk drawer, locking it. "What...was that about?! What did you throw in there?" Mileena asked with a terrifying look. "Just my nametag...I can't bear to see my name anymore...not after...." "After what?" Angela said approaching me, with a look of fire. "Nothing....OK! To get out of here, we have to take the underground train to the underground headquarters we have here. From there, we go through the lab, and onto another train. This train will take us out of the city, and to Reumball's old base, which is on the outskirts of Onoarc City. From Reumball's old base, we take an aeroplane as far away as possible, to wherever we can...and escape! Only problem is.....this place is not barricaded so zombies are slowly spreading throughout America. So let's hope that no one on a plane to another country is infected! Got it? Good!" I strolled past them, and grabbed a lasersight handgun, and a magnum from the case. I made sure I had plenty of ammo on me, and then walked out of the door. "There's a shotgun, and rifle in there....one of you take what you want, and the others take the rest!" I turned the corner, and walked to the elevator. I pressed the call button, but got the wrong response. "ATTENTION: Elevator is out of service, please use the emergency stairs situated at the other side of the building! Thank you!" "darn it! There could be hundreds of zombies there..and that thing!" I punched the door to the elevator, and collapsed to the floor. "We're never going to make it out!" Jordan a.k.a. Ms.Croft's post (OoC: I never said they gave you the grapple hook, you did..using my character lol. All I said they gave you was a lighter.) "What are you waiting for?" I asked as I clung to the gaps in the walkway to support myself. After all, we were still on a very steep slope. "Throw the lighter in and toast it, I don't want that thing turning into a wall crawler any time soon!" Aiden looked at me, then to the water and finally to the lighter in his hand. "I'm waiting until we get a bit higher. Who knows what happens when you throw a lighter into oil?" I sighed and nodded. "Ok, then let's move quickly!" The upward struggle was taxing on my limbs and it looked like the others were tiring too, apart from Aiden. He climbed the walkway with grace and stood up well before any of us were at the level he was at. Eventually I balanced myself and stood up, shortly after Angela and Mileena balanced themselves too. Aiden nodded at me and I nodded back. "As soon as I throw it we run, ok?" I nodded and assumed the other girls did too. Aiden lifted the lighter's lid and let the flame flicker into creation and after counting silent numbers he threw it over the edge. "NOW!" The voice shook the monster beneath us and he suddenly became aware of our presence, and the danger becoming him. The monster never left my eyesight as we ran up the circular walkway approaching the door 150 metres above us. The lighter went out suddenly mid air as it spun towards the oil. "No!" Stopping suddenly while grabbing the railings, I watched the lighter fall lifelessly. Mileena appeared next to me and watched with me also. "darn!" She muttered under her breath. "I still have a straw up my sleeve!" "Trick!" "Whatever," She replied sarcastically as she reached for her gun attatching a laser sight to the top of it. Her hand was steady and in a split second she pulled the trigger. The bullet connected with the gun and all of a sudden the monster came exploding out of the water ironicallhy just as the oil exploded. The fire chased the monster up the wall towards us quicker than I could of expected. A figure grabbed my wrist and dragged me up the path, and unknown to me my legs followed it. The oil soaked reptile wasn't fast enough and screeched as it became engulfed in the fire. Snapping back to reality I looked up towards the door. It was 10 metres away now and our luck was looking better. "Come on, come on!" Repeated Angela ahead of me going through the door ahead . Aiden stood to the left fo the door and ushered me and Mileena in. He followed shortly after and slammed the door behind him. The room we entered into echoed and shook some glass above us. The fire abviously died out before reaching the door as nothing happened. "Thank...God....for...that!" Angela panted grabbing her kneecaps with her gun in one hand. "Where are we?" Mileena asked looking at me. "Luckily for you, I know!" I smiled walking down the mirror filled hall. "If you feel sick, that's natural, as the mirrors are ment to create that effect. Do not ask me why, as I do not know!" "Oh," Angela said grabbing her stomach, "I was just going to ask." I smiled and continued with my tour. "Welcome to the Reumball Corporation, where our business, is life itself!" Finally I pressed the roman numerals and the mirror slid up welcoming the group into a mansion type foyer. Deryk's post We entered the foyer at a slow walking pace Angela, Mileena and I inspected the grand decor in awe. " Isn't this a bit elaborate for a pharmaceutical Corp" I asked. Demi didn't answer she just looked at me with a pleasant smile, but that somehow made feel slightly uneasy this place seemed out of place amongst everything that has happened so far, I can't relax yet. I looked over at Mileena who also seemed a little uneasy. " Right, we're here now. What next?" Milleena said in a stern voice "This place is beautiful, Can't we...." "No, there's no rest for the wicked" Mileena said interrupting Angela. " Of course, you're right, how can we be sure that this place is safe?" Angela said with her eyes following Demi who was about to climb a set of stairs. Demi suddenly stopped on the first step "That's a good question" she said looking up the stairs before she proceeded in further. She swiftly changed direction on the ball of her foot 180 degress and made her way to a small table in the middle of the foyer. On the table a computer monitor was set in it, its one of those touch screen ones, she entered a number combinations which then called up a holographic schematic of the facility. " Wow, impressive..what are you looking for?" I asked watching her fiddle some more with the device. " Abnormalities in the security system"..she replied without looking away from the monitor " Do you see any?"...Suddenly red dots began to appear on the floating schematic " unfortunately, yes " she said trying to keep cool. "WHAT?!" Angela yelled. "Oh, you gotta be kidding me!" I said drawing the revolver I had tucked in the back of my belt. Just then a deep growling sound came from above us... Morpheanne's post Instantly, we all looked up towards the ceiling, where a huge, deformed looking creature had it's claws buried deep into the roof, and was beginning to drool. Gross. "What in hell is that?" I said, quickly aiming my gun towards it. "I have no idea" came Aidan's voice. "Well, whatever it is. It does not look friendly" Angela replied. "Should we run?'' I asked Demi "I think we should" I added. "Good idea" she replied "Follow me". Angela and Demi went up the stairs. Aidan and I were right behind, squeezing a few shots off into the creature. Demi quickly ran to a door and punched in a security code and stepped inside. "You two! Hurry!" she yelled. Aidan and I quickly ran through the door just as it started closing, then there was a large dent in the metal door. "Something tells me that won't hold long" I said. "Yeah, so much for 'nobody'll get through that'" Demi muttered. "So, what do we do now?" Aidan asked. Rika_Croft's post "Well we're not going back out there," I said. "Yeah, we should probably head down this hallway," said Demi, "I'm pretty sure there's a kitchen down here somewhere." Her voice ended urgently. "Calm down, there's obviousy something wrong...or right. I mean, these zombies are a tad different than the ones in Raccoon city and they're not dead, just different. The three of us looked around for any sign of him but he had obviously entered the kitchen by himself. "Holy s***, what is that!?" " Well, his wounds look as though they weren't bites or claw marks, they were much to clean. My guess is he was murdered violently, using some kind of sharp instrument..." The room was large and cylinder like going upwards about 25 metres and going downwards about 200 metres. The paths went around the perimeter of the cylinder, one going up and one going down. I could see a door up above and below there was darkness. "Well which way now?" Angela asked. "Heh, you're the leader all of a sudden, you decide!" Multiple Choice: 1. As I got to her face I stared at her without saying anything for about 10 seconds but who was counting. Quickly I span around her and grabbed the gun hanging out of her jeans and pointed it at her. I let out a 'hmph' sound and began talking. "So, not even the one Mileena gave you a second ago!" "I...I.." She stuttered looking at Mileena and then at me becoming red in the face. " 'I...I..', get moving!" I stuttered back throwing the gun over the edge of the walkway. In a split second Angela used her right hand to somersault over the railing grabbing the gun in between her feet, she used her other hand to grab the railing also to support herself. She pulled her self over the railing releasing the gun at 90 degrees sending it flying upwards. Then she landed and grabbed the gun and pocketed it. "Let's go!" There was a hint of fake anger in her voice but her face showed true anger otherwise. I liked this girl and she showed potential. I stuck to the back of the group and followed them, Mileena looked at me as if to say, 'What is up with you?' but she didn't need to know, none of them did. We reached the door with no danger presented in our way as expected. Angela grabbed the door handle and opened the door. Without warning a large reptile like frog with sharp claws jumped out towards Angela. She dodged out of the way but it unfortunately hit Aiden square in the chest. He grabbed his chest and fell off the railing. Quickly I jumped off of the railing grabbing Aiden and the rail simulaneously. Mileena grabbed my arm and tried to haul me up. "Let go!" I asked Mileena as she replied with a look of total cluelesness. "Just let go!" I continued pleadingly. "NO, I won't let you!" She begged beginning to pull me up. "Fine!" I jerked my arm and pulled Mileena with me over the ledge, she fell over and immeadiately Angela grabbed her leg while shooting the lizard. It wasn't reacting to it and as it leapt towards her throat with its large claw she side jumped over the railing dropping Mileena setting off a chain reaction to her and then to me. We fell into the darkness and into after what seemed like forever landed in a water filled chasm. I said solemnly trying to be sweet and welcoming so that she would begin to trust me. "Hey that's ok! I know how it is, I mean, this isn't the perfect oportunity to meet someone new now is it!" She added a giggle to the end of her sentence. I returned the giggle and sighed. "One more niggle though...I would tell everyone about that handgun hanging out of the back of your jeans, it's better that everyone knows about stuff like that yea?" She nodded looking at her feet. "I know," She began, "but I didn't know if you would like me having one!" "Hey, what does it matter if you do or not, it's not like I make a difference!" I grabbed her arms and we all began running down the path. The floor was becoming damp and I felt as if something was wrong. The floor became so steep all of a sudden we slipped and started sliding down the path. The path ended without warning into a vertical drop and we landed in a watery chasm. Mileena's came next, shortly followed by Aiden and then Angela obviously out of breath. The water was ice cold which worried me substantially, why would the water need to be kept so cold, especially under a city near a giant furnace. I looked up and couldn't see much, apart from a dark cloud blocking my view from the door we saw previously. Below me was also total darkness, the water was murky and I didn't enjoy the aspect of what could be below. "Is it me or does it smell like oil here?" The voice came from the direction of Aiden. "Does anyone have a lighter?" Mileena asked looking at each of us individually. Our heads shook in unison and we all looked back at Mileena. "Then no need to worry then is there!" "No!" Angela snipped in sounding chirpy. "No....then what about that?" I looked below me and saw what seemed like a giant alligator silhouetted under the water. The others looked down and shared my worry. Angela frantically looked around trying to find an exit but there wasn't one, the only way out was the way in. "We have to get back on the walkway somehow, it's our only chance. But how, it's at least 5 feet above us, way out of our current reach?" The others looked at me also clueless but then I saw a glint in Aiden's eyes. "What idea do you have?" Before he could answer four gunshots followed by a squeal rippled through the air above us. A figure appeared above me, it was green and scaley. "Incoming!" The other looked above them and swam out of the way to avoid the modified hunter. It landed directly in the middle of the putrid pool and something below us suddenly jerked. "Ohhh, s**t!" Mileena cursed as the silhouette turned into a clear half crocodile/pirrahna. It swallowed the modified hunter whole and dissapeared beneath the water once again. "Ok," I started decreasing the tone of my voice, "It seems to respond to sudden movements in the water, let's just stay still until it gets," "HEY!" I looked above me and could see a faint red blur, "TAKE THIS!" An small rhombus shaped object came gliding towards us, but unfortunately got stuck on the grates gaps. "It's a lighter!" Angela chirpped looking at the wave of hope. "Thank you!" But they were gone, as fast as they had came. "Right!" I was startled by the sudden voice from Aiden. "Let's get up there!" He brandished a rope with a grappling anchor attatched to the top. I smiled and stayed dead still. Deryk's post I slowly held my index finger towards my lips as if to make a shhh sound, " It's impossible to swing this thing without making too much movement " I whispered. I then hooped the rope across my shoulder over my head as quietly as possible, holding the grapple anchor in my right hand from the base. I turned to face the wall, luckily there was a plentyful amount of handholds in the wall. Placing my left hand on the highest one I could see, I pulled myself up pushing my feet against the wall for balance. It was difficult to this stealthfully, water dripped off of me as I emerged. I looked down at the girls caustiously " Sorry!" I whispered loudly with eyes widened, arched eyebrows. The three girls with their heads bobbing from the water had their eyes clenched shut as if expecting a sudden reaction...Nothing happened, I then realised that that 'THING' must only be sensitive to larger movements in the water. I raised my right arm to strike at the wall using the grapple hook as an ice pick, continued doing so till I reached the ledge with the grates that had the oil lighter wedged in a gap. Quickly as I could I pulled myself up and fixed the grapple on to the railings and pulled the lighter out of the gap. I threw the rope down which let a whoosh sound. The girls below cheered quietly with a sense of relief. Looking at the lighter I retrieved I was about to light it, flicked the the top of it..just then I thought it best not to light it just yet remembering the whiff of oil I detected just a short while ago. I saw the rope move " Here let me help you!" I called out and began to pull all three girls up at once. Lucky for me that all three are of a slender build.. Demi was the first to ascend out of the three girls then Angela and finally mileena. "Are you girls okay?" I asked "Yes, we're fine" Demi answered "No, that water is freakin' freezing! And can you imagine what it's doing for my hair?!" Angela blurted out "She's fine" Mileena said sarcastically. "Hey, where did the rope come from anyway?" Demi asked "Yeah, where did it come from?" Mileena questioned in a typical policing way. " It's the strangest thing, It was already down there! Almost as if someone knew we'd need it" I replied suspiciously. "You guys!, That woman" Angela suddenly said in a loud voice "The one that threw the lighter, it had to been her, at least I think it was a woman". (OOC: Mysterious figure in red? Ms. Croft's post Mileena was driving towards the city, she looked ahead with no emotion in her face as if she was lost in thought. I was getting uncomfortable and decided to brake the silence, "So, what was that?" I said pointing behind my shoulder. "That, was a zombie." She replied calmly. "A what?!" "Well, kind of. There different than the ones you've heard of. "Heard of? How would you know that?" I asked questioningly. "Hm, everyone knows about that incident. It was only on the news for about 6 months straight after Racoon City was blown into smitherins. You still hear about it now...besides listen to this!" She turned on the radio and flicked through every frequency. Each station was playing the same news report. "Today New Onoarc City struck rock bottom as the world is reminded of the horror that had taken place 9 years ago in Racoon City. Human Monsters have risen again and are feasting on human flesh , passing the virus on, spreading it throughout the city. Residents have finally found there evil and are fleeing to the only medical sight they know of, Reumball Corporation. Ironically Reumball are on top of the suspect list of releasing the virus into the city streets, just like Umbrella all those years ago. This reporter is left to wonder if another outbreak could happen again in a couple of years...if this one is finished in the first place. Our hearts go out to the residents of Onoarc city. "So," I said braking the silence, "what are we doing going into the city?" Ms.Croft's post "To stop this madness of course!" She replied as we entered the city limits. "What, are you serious?" "Of course, someone has to stop this, oh by the way, there's a handgun in the glove compartment, take it." I looked at her to see if she was being serious. "Well, go on then!" I opened the compartment and grabbed the gun inside. "How do you fire one of these?" I asked examining it's silver exterior. "Pull the trigger, it's an automatic. There's no need to pull the top unless you want to get rid of a bullet, which I don't recommend. When yo run out of bullets the top of the gun will stay pulled back, squeeze the handle and the magazine will fall out allowing you to put in another. Then pull the trigger slightly to load your first bullet." "Oh, simple!" I retorted sarcastically. "So, fancy explaining what's happened to this city in the space of 3 days!" She looked at me and then back to the road taking a left. "2 days ago we all heard of an unveiling of Reumball's new product to virtually change the whole of humanity as we know it. Millions of us all gathered outside the building, apart from me, I watched it from the safety of the TV." I nodded as I knew that they were unveiling the cure of Cancer." At 2:30am exactly, the Reumball Corporation unleased a gas from the rooftops and it seeped into the city streets. Everyone thought it was part of the illusion and breathed in the gas without worrying. 20 minutes later they all changed, for the worse. We thought they had died, everyone there. But no, their bodies reanimated and the virus spread rapidally. I had to wear a gasmask for 1 full day and had to watch friends and family collapse." She looked solemnly across the streets avoiding the zombies roaming for fresh blood. They ran after our car, shouting and screaming. I wanted to tell Mileena about Reumball's true intention but thought better about it, after all she didn't need to know that I had made that cure, she was the only person I had. "I..I'm sorry for..." A zombie pushed it's way from the backseat and grabbed Mileena's neck, strangling her. I panicked and pointed the gun at the zombie, pulling the trigger. Mileena lost control and swerved into an alleyway crashing. We were stuck and the zombie was beginning to wake back up. "Come on!" She grabbed my arm and helped me through the sun roof. My breath became visible in the air, and so did Mileena's. We kept on descending through the very large basement. Mileena had her gun held up high in level with her head. I copied this as mine was at my side, accidentaly I pressed the button which released the magazine onto the floor. "Ah darn it!" Without thinking I ran down the stairs to collect my magazine clip. I slipped suddenly toppeling down the stairs. I hit my head on the stairs and ended up rolling down what seemed like 2 sets of stairs before I finally hit the floor. I grabbed my head on instinct trying to ignore the pain. I clenched my eyes together and concentrated on happy memories, like the weekend I had with my parents. "Blood!" My eyes suddenly opened and I felt a firm grip on my arm. It picked me up and I screamed without realising it. The thing behind me tried to make me keep still as I thrashed my arms wildely, trying to get away from my inevatable death. "Get down!" I could see Mileena's silhouette in front of me, I elbowed the thing in the stomach and ducked. Immeadiately a gunshot rang through the dark corridors. A body slumped behind me and breathing a sigh of relief I looked up at Mileena. "Th...Thank..you!" She grabbed my arm and pulled me up. "It's not dead yet, I only hit the shoulder!" She replied sternly looking at the body on the floor. "WHAT?" It suddenly got up and keeled over to its side where Mileena shot it. She pointed her gun at it and so did I. "What are you doing!" My eyes widened as I realised that we had hit a human. "Who shoots people, honestly?" "Sorry, I mean, who goes around an says 'blood' and then grabs people?" I replied with my gun still pointing at her. "You have blood on your face that's why! I was only trying to help, sheesh!" I felt suddenly guilty and looked to Mileena who lowered her gun. Mine was still pointed at her. "Ummm...you don't have a clip in there you fool!" She continued waving the clip at me. She then keeled over again touching her wound. "Oh dear, let me help you with that!" I quipped knealing beside her. Reaching into my pocket I grabbed a bandage and some chemicals. "Hey where did you get those?" Mileena asked, "You never told me you were a doctor!" "You never asked!" I got out some tweezers and a lighter, I proceeded to heat up the tweezers and then carefully removed the bullet. She winced in pain and a tear fell out of her eye. "Now, don't you feel lucky you've got me?" I retorted getting out some stitches and a couple of knitting colours. "Any colour preferance?" "No," She laughed, "Black's fine!" I nodded and got out some alcohol from my pocket. I poured some on my hands and then placed some on her wound, and proceeded to stitch up her wound. Finally I pulled out a needle with some fluid inside and went to inject her. "Umm what's that?" "Oh, don't worry, it's just to speed up the healing process...you know these breakthrough liquids we've had since 2007!" "Oh of course." She replied looking at the injection warily. After I had injected her I wrapped some bandages around her and stood up. Mileena has found my clip and gave it to me. "Look, here's how to grip a gun!" She showed me and I thanked her. "Ummm, mabey you should put that down for now," I said looking causiosly at Demi, " You don't want to accidentaly take out the wrong person." "hahah, mabey you're right," said Demi with a nervous laugh. She pointed her gun towards the ground. OOC: wow Mileena must walk really slow if it's taking her this long to get to the shadows LOL. POV: Milenna Milenna had now reached the area where the noise had come from. She was quite far away from the other two women. She looked towards the ground and saw a rack of broken vials lying on the ground. It was impossible to tell with the lights off, but Mileena assumed that they were in the basement of some kind of hospital or labratory. POV: returns to normal There was a loud scream and the sound of a gunshot. Demi and I automaticaly turned to face the direction where Mileena had went. We ran forward, but we could see no sign of Mileena. "Sh*t," I said. " What are we going to do now!" Gasped Demi.

Ms.Croft's post So here it is again. The sequel to the first Resident Evil RPG. This time things are different....no slow zombies or villagers. No stupid things with no weapons. This time the zombies have 'evolved' to run as fast as athletes and the mutations have become just as horrific. RULES: 1. No killing off other characters (Only I can do that...I'll get to that later) 2. No flood etc. 3. No special abilities, like being able to mutate and arm etc. 4. No characters from the series but we will meet some. 5. No swear allowed, in any language! And all the other classics. Now I've changed a few details in this RPG. At points in the game I will offer every character a multiple choice question depending on what they do in the game. I will also offer group questions that will affect the route of the game. Here's an example: There are two ways to get across, which one will you take? 1. Climb the pipe and cross the wire across the chasm. 2. Walk across the rickety wood across the gap. Some of these choices can have disastorous affects like death so do choose wisely. I will not make it too hard and it is down to common sense. some multiple choices will be nice and some won't be, it depends on what happens. The Story: Peace had finally returned after the horror that had taken place 3 years ago in Europe. Although a lot of lives had been lost, justice had finally been won by the small group of heros that saved the Earth that day. Of course they went there separate ways and got on with their lives but unbeknown to them, something tragic was happening elsewhere, in a small unknown location. A group had been waiting patiently for years for an opertunity to test their latest creations. Again the world is in danger, and again it needs heros...which is where this story begins. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Okeydoke, create a character that is not from the game and has no special abilities (No Alice Morph...sorry!). I heard some beaping behind me and looked in my wingmirror. A car was racing up the motorway towards me, it attempted to overtake and was cut off by an oncoming car. He was signalling to me but I couldn't make out what he was trying to signal. He was pointing at me but why? His movements became more eratic and I soon figured out he was pointing in front of me. I turned my attention back to the road and hit something. Swerving my car around I crashed into a barrier releasing the airbag. I eventually pushed the air bag back down and got out of the car. Looking around I finally realised what I had hit. "Oh no!" I ran towards the body and knelt beside it. I had beat this guy up preety bad. He had gashes all over his face but he still had colour in his face. "Sir, please wake up!" His eyes opened and he looked at me. "A human...blood!" "What?" I replied with a concerned look on my face. "BLOOD!" He hit me in the stomach making me keel over, and then grabbed my neck. His strength was unbelievable. All the air rushed out of my body and I felt myself going quickly. I couldn't scream or speak, I was gone for sure. "Not so fast!" I heard a shower of bullets and then felt a big release as the air rushed back into my lungs. My vision returned to me and I saw my attacker on the floor spewing blood out of every hole in his body. Struggling to get up I looked at my saviour. They looked at me in return and smiled. "Hey!" There's a notebook on your coffee table in your apartment living room. Look at it, select it, and you'll be able to save. That's the only way you can save in the game - part of the strategy is how often you save and when you save, since you need to go back to your apartment to do it...and later on in the game that gets a bit harder to do. Purple's post (quoting Acid_Rush) Yes SH "The Room" is complicated, me and my boyfriend played it together (actually he played it, I watched lol) it's so freaky, and whenever you had to go up some stairs or whetever, thoose hands coming out of the walls pushed you down again, my boyfriend was always frustrated becasue of that. I helped him solve some puzzles, so eh, at least I helped him a bit *laughs* but overall I think it is a good SH game. We never finished it but we left of where we had to search all of the apartments. I think we needen couple more levels to finish off but we haven't lol. Oh and that little boy is so freaky and then that one part where you could see troguh a hole in the wall at your neighbors apartment (that one girl) and that stuffed bunny or bear sitting at her bed, just so CREEPY! I tought that Jail level (where they put the children in and let them rott till they died) was so SCARY! because theese monters or creatures with 2 baby faces on tem ahhhhhh just thinking about it hahaha so creepy. Ms.Croft's post I have a ton of theories on the second game, but they may be considered spoilers...so I will say so! *SPOILERS* Well let's start on our lovely Mr Pyramid Head. Many people just see him as an enemy but he is so so so much more. It is said that our lovely Mr Pyramid head is a reflection of the main character. He's often percieved doing things to monsters when the main character comes across him, and this is ment to be a reflection of his sexual frustration...in other words, Pyramid head is the 'sinful' side of our main character. Later in the game when the main character begins to come around to this, Pyramid Head starts to become vulnerable and ends up impaling himself. Also, this time, Silent Hill has become not only a purgatory type of place, but a self punishment place in Silent Hill 2. James is apparentely using Silent Hill 2 as a means of punishing himself for killing his wife, and is using Pyramid head to do this. Once James frees himself of these sins the pyramid heads kill themselves...as they are not needed anymore. *End Spoiler* This is why I love Silent Hill, the psycological madness, and messing of the head is what makes it so great, and so different than Resident Evil...thus I've only played 3, but I already want the res (A part from 4)

Based on what I've seen from the trailer, previews, and the info on IMDB I think it's mainly based on SH1 - parent (I think she's actually Harry's wife!) looking for their daughter, complete w/Dahlia, Alessa and Cybil, along w/bits and pieces from 2 & 3 - Pyramid Head, nurses, Eddie, Valtiel... Well, whatever happens I'm going to go in w/a low expectation, then I can't help being satisfied at the very least. I'm still not sure I like the idea of them replacing Harry's role w/that of his wife... I admit, tho, it was smart of them not to try to exactly replicate the game's story. I forgot about this thread! I haven't heard anything from SH4, but I do love all the SH soundtracks. If I had to choose, it would probably be SH3. I've never before experienced such a beautiful marriage between the creepy, static noises, instrumentation and beats/rhythms. It just works so well. My favourite song on the ST, and which I think emulates this sound most, is Sickness Until Foolish Death. But I really like all the tracks. SH2 would have to be my 2nd fav, probably Theme of Laura being my favourite. For anyone who is wondering, SH3 is a direct sequel to SH1. SH1 was very, very vague and subtle about the elements of its storyline, maybe for censorship reasons... or at the time it had no peers with such dark, demonic content. SH3 pretty much explain s the whole of what happened in SH1, and progresses on from there. There's this wonderful plot twist involving James and suddenly you find yourself questioning everything, and all in all the whole game has so many levels to mull over. SH1 was much more clear-cut. Okay, the first Silent Hill on the PS1 was all about a bloke called Harry whom lost his daughter in an eerie town with the same name as the game lol (if memory serves me)....strange that. The thing is, Harry's wife died some time ago and SH is where they met or went some time ago and he received a mysterious letter I think, which prompted him to go back. The second game isn't related to the first either, but the third game is the true sequal, where by you play harry's daughter who is around 16yrs old now, and harry is dead hehe. I think it's certainly more psycological and it does mess with you head, in a way that you'll have to play it to find out lol Acid_Rush's post Nearly right, Cliffy - you're getting the storylines of 1 and 2 mixed together. In SH 1 Harry - whose wife is dead - takes his daughter Cheryl to Silent Hill on holiday - it's a resort town. However, someone steps in front of their car on the outskirts of the town in the fog and they crash. When Harry comes round he finds Cheryl gone and the town a ghost town, recently destroyed by a fire. The object of the game is to find Cheryl (a big joke in Silent Hill humour-based fanfictions is Harry's constant repetition in the game of the line, 'Have you seen a little girl? Short, dark hair? About seven years old?' It's funny how often he says that. You travel around the town avoiding/killing monsters and meeting the few live residents of the town who may help you or may hinder you or who all help you to piece together just what's going on - namely that the town was the centre of an obsessive cult who victimised one little girl in order to try and bring about hell on earth, and you're not as detached from the town as you think... SH2 is about James, whose wife is also dead - she was called Mary. He's the one who received a letter - from her, after her death, asking her to meet him in Silent Hill. He goes to look for her and meets a few tragic characters, including Maria, who looks and sounds exactly like his dead wife except for the fact that she dresses more provocatively and is a lot more flirty. Then of course there's the issue of her continually dying... SH2 has the biggest plot twist of the entire series and should not be spoiled for anyone who may play the game. SH3 is, as Cliffy said, a sequel to 1 involving Harry's daughter, except it's not *quite* Cheryl. SH4 is almost completely different and was originally intended as a different game not at all connected to the series until they decided it would sell better if they slapped the SH name on it. You play Henry from Ashfield who wakes up one day to find his apartment door chained up from the inside, the windows shut, the power cut, the phone dead and no-one notices he's missing. They don't even hear him screaming for help. Then after five days a hole appears in his bathroom wall with the sound of crying children filtering through it. You climb into the hole and are transported to a hellish other dimension where locations familiar to you such as the subway near your apartment block or the woods near Silent Hill are all twisted and full of monsters. Turns out it's all due to a serial killer who lived in Silent Hill but committed suicide in prison, but what exactly is going on and why is your apartment sealed up? I haven't finished this one yet so I can't comment on any more. The reason people say SH is darker than RE is because the storylines are very deep and involved and centred around the dark side of human nature and the evil that man can do both to others and to themselves. They're more 'psychological' in that the scares come from building up tension and claustrophobia rather than having monsters leap out at you. The monsters are really freaky and generally move slowly but relentlessly. That doesn't make the game easy since you're often trapped in awkward, small spaces, and it adds to the fear. Everywhere is dark and misty and in the first three games you pick up a broken radio that gives out static when monsters are nearby. Because it's so dark you can't see much, so the radio goes off and you *know* there's something nearby but you don't know where and it's *really* *really* unnerving!! I like them, as you can probably tell. I definately recommend them. His teen friends want to stay at the camp nearby to see if Jason is still here, after all these years. Story: "Why aren't they here?" Miles sat on a log. His friends hadn't showed up. He knew it. Then, he heard a sound from the trees behind him. It sounded like a voice. "Chh-chh-chh-haa-haa-haa" The sound kept repeating itself. Over and over. Then, a blade protruded from above him. Miles leapt to the ground, catching glimpse of the hulking figure above him. He was a dishevelled, decaying, horrific figure of a man, with a hockey mask covering his face. He had an old, rotten olive shirt on and mouldy old jeans. He was holding a hunting knife. he brought the blade down and missed. Then, Miles ran into the forest. He kept running, faster and faster. The figure was getting further away, fading in the trees. Miles turned back, and saw that the killer had dissapeared. He kept running, and tripped over a log. He landed, smashing his head into the ground. He woke up, and sat up. He saw headlights near the camp entrance. He hadn't ran that far, but it felt like it. There was no sign of Jason. L Croft's post I must admit that I haven't played any of the games on your list. My favourite game has got to be Deus Ex, I have yet to find a game which I enjoyed nearly as much. Although I have played TR1 and Populous twice as well, so they also rank highly. Karate Girl's post i voted for Crash but i like silent hill as well Tomb raider first but you all know that! Lol LethalWeapon's post I voted other, I do like RE , but i like MGS , MK: Deception and others more. Purple's post I like DINO CRISIS!!! Regina is just cool, and the story and game is good I really like it. I like Dino Crisis2 better that the first one (PS1) becasue the first one was PUZZLE BREAKING! and the second one was more fun and all theese new types of dinosaurs came up. It was just cool. Jumping Stone's post Heh, I've beat this twice. I dont know why I love it so much. YOu just have free roam to do whatever you want. You can just buy random things or call random people.
