Tomb Raider: 10th Anniversary Edition
As noone truly know except those at Eidos or Crystal Dynamics we can only speculate as to what it is going to be. The most likely thing is a remake of TRI and possibly II, so basically if it is that it'll be TRI (and II) with better graphics and possibly some extra areas. The other rumour is that it will be a collection of the most popular levels from the first five games given a graphical update with possible new areas.

question of AOD
A bug prevents the game registering picking up a second handgun as another weapon (i.e. the game register the second handgun as ammo, not another weapon to be used). Still, if you can use the cheat disc or Pizza Cheat you'll find that the dual pistols weren't infinite in AOD!

Problem with downloading
I suggest you try using a download manager for this, I've had a few problems with downloading goodies of LCO and using a download manager worked. Gimme a sec to get the link. EDIT: And voila: http://www.speedbit.com/en/? Select to download DAP for Free ("Get DAP Free" on top left of the page), install and your downloads should work now. If you want you can uninstall it afterwards

Tomb Raider Adventure DVD screener clip
You should have seen how excited I got when I saw that small new footage There's also some angles (like at the door with padlock) with better lighting and and a cleaner Lara model, plus it's great to hear Jonell again! They also moved the crowbar! As for the second half, it's them using old recorded footage of AOD, and since the second half of that level was shipped unfinished, I presume they couldn't use it. Shame, really.

Tomb Raider Adventure DVD screener clip
There was about 2 second new footage of Lara's face when she peered round the corner and just before she picked up the key!

What game should we play again then?
I really don't know why I just picked TR3... but I did Probably because I found it quite easy, LoL.

New High Rez Images from the DVD AOD Adventure Game
It'll have multiple endings and most likely a complete version of the game - that screenshot with Lara in it wasn't in the game, personally, I can't wait for it =)

Tomb Raider 8 for PS3 confirmed + AE news
Source: http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?...09270701085295J Tomb Raider Legend • Tomb Raider Legend (released April 2006) - 2.9 million units in FY 2006. • Further Tomb Raider revenue from Tomb Raider Anniversary and Nintendo versions of Tomb Raider Legend. • Went to No.1 around the world - US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia and Australia (plus others) • Fastest selling UK videogame of 2006 to date • Nominated for 5 Bafta Awards • Lara Croft received a Guinness World Record for 'Most Successful Human Videogame Heroine' • Reached the Last 10 in the Great British Design Quest • Lara has been voted into Channel 4's Top 100 Sex Symbols for 2006 • First game to secure the front cover of the UK's 4 Official games magazines (first time ever) - OXM, OPS2, OX360M, OPSP • No. 1 UK - All formats chart - 3 weeks running (No.1 - 360, PC, PSP, Xbox, PS2 charts) • Tomb Raider Legend secured over 50 front covers worldwide. • The largest contributions to revenues and profitability were from Tomb Raider Legend, Hitman Blood Money and the distribution of Lego Star Wars. • The largest contribution to revenue and profitability was Tomb Raider Legend. This product was launched on Xbox 360, Xbox, PS2 and PC in April 2006 and on PSP in June 2006. During the financial year we sold over 2.9 million units of Tomb Raider Legend to retailers and distributors. This performance was higher than the Group's original forecast and has made Tomb Raider Legend the highest selling new release in the UK in 2006 to date (source Chattrack August 2006). Tomb Raider Legend continues to sell well during the 2007 financial year. • Sales of Tomb Raider Legend and Hitman Blood Money have already exceeded the previous versions of these games (Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness and Hitman Contracts). This commercial success was combined with extremely strong reviews from the specialist games press and a high degree of media coverage. • We will continue to exploit established brands. During the 2007 financial year we will release Tomb Raider Legend on the Nintendo Gamecube, DS and GBA platforms. • Finally, we expect a continuing level of strong back catalogue income. This includes continued sales of Tomb Raider Legend and Hitman Blood Money which were released in the latter part of the 2006 financial year. Both products have already achieved Sony Platinum status and will be released as Platinum products at an appropriate point during 2007. • During 2006 we licensed three of our products, including Tomb Raider Legend, to Spike for the Japanese market. • In 2007 we plan to publish ten titles including new versions of Tomb Raider Legend and Hitman Blood Money. Tomb Raider Anniversary Edition • Further Tomb Raider revenue from Tomb Raider Anniversary and Nintendo versions of Tomb Raider Legend. • In the second half of the financial year we plan to launch an Anniversary edition of Tomb Raider, celebrating ten years of the legendary Lara Croft. Tomb Raider 8 • Our 2008 products will include new versions of Tomb Raider (including a PS3 version) and many of our other key franchises. Tomb Raider General/ Other • Tomb Raider and Hitman are particularly high profile brands with long-term value. The status of Tomb Raider was illustrated in 2005 by BBC viewers who voted it one of the Top Ten Design icons of the last 100 years. We will continue to build the quality and breadth of the Tomb Raider and Hitman franchises. • The Group spent £19.4 million on advertising in the financial year. This reflects the major campaigns, including global TV advertising, organised to market our products and re-establish key franchises such as Tomb Raider, Hitman and Championship Manager. • The brands valued in the balance sheet include seven titles with lifetime sales of one million units or more. These are Tomb Raider, Hitman, Championship Manager, Thief, Deus Ex, Legacy of Kain and Shellshock. In addition the Conflict series and Carmageddon have also each sold over one million units. However, their values are excluded from intangible assets as they have been internally developed. • We also plan new franchises, including completely new products from both Crystal Dynamics (developers of Tomb Raider) and Io Interactive (developers of Hitman and Kane & Lynch). • Focusing internal studios around a key owned franchise (for example Tomb Raider at Crystal Dynamics and Hitman at Io Interactive).

Tomb Raider 10th Anniversary Edition PSP trailer
The game has been delayed until some time in early 2007. The whole leaked trailer debacle forced Eidos into a frenzy to announce the game but they still have not announced what it actually is (remake, collection of levels etc.) nor when Crystal Dynamics production started.

Next-Generation Console Purchase
It's a patent Sony owns but they haven't used it in production of PS3 games. It's been denied since last year when the rumour started by a SCEE represantative. Plus they know that games consoles are liable to break (yes, no matter who makes them) so then having to re-buy all your PS3 games would mightily annoy people and Sony'd be dead, contrary to popular belief, Sony can actually be largely intelligent =)

LcocRoco
Finished it a few weeks ago - it's absolutely brilliant! Those songs get stuck into your head for weeks. Those little LocoRoco's are so cute, especially the little yellow ones =D I wish LocoRoco's were real then the whole world would be full of happiness and peace and love =) I feel like a hippy now.

Angel of Darkness to be remade - sort of
As far as we know, yes it is. However because it has multiple endings it's possible it has newer areas, possible closure to the missing period between TR4 and AOD and a possible closure to the whole AOD arc (altho' unlikely since it's roughly 4 hours unless they bring out another interactive DVD). For an update the Interactive DVD (henceforth will be named iDVD) the release date is to be the 21st of November.

Angel of Darkness to be remade - sort of
To be released in November of this year, Bright Things in cooperation with Eidos will release an interactive DVD game titled: "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Action Adventure". Searching for who killed her friend, the game will involve more than four hours of choices, thinking and multiple endings. From their licencing agrrement reports: "Further to our preliminary announcement in June, the development of our first standalone Interactive DVD Game 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider - The Action Adventure' is progressing well and in accordance with expectations. Bright Things has secured distribution for the product into various territories worldwide for release into the key Christmas selling period." (http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?...09081315017000I) From the London Stock Exchange pages: "Opportunity to develop and market family games for DVD players, with no additional hardware requirements - Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness Interactive DVD progressing well". Tomb Raider: 10th Anniversary Edition
Well the game has been reported for a 2007 release date (of course speculation is going that they'll release it around 14th February for a double celebration and you know what I'm talking about) by Eidos' Ian Livingstone.

How to play Amanda?
For the Amanda skins I think you have to beat the Ghana and Kazakhstan time trials. But basically getting every secret and playing every time trial will bag you all the costumes and cheats

A little late, but nevermind!
"Presuming that the Lara is facing the door (i.e. her back is to King Arthur's egg) run right till you meet Bedwyr. A small cutscene will play. When you're back in control grab Bedwyr's crypt and pull it backwards. Pull it past the small broken stone (a.k.a the broken dias) and next to a tall column on the opposite side of the room from Bedwyr's tomb. Run up to King Arthur's tomb, turn and grapple the chandelier. Pull it towards you and let go. QUICKLY run over to where you left Bedwyr's tomb, jump on it, jump onto the column and then onto the rope. If done correctly the bell will rise and Lara fall and the chandelier will hit the bell. If that doesn't happen you'll have to do it again but, if you were successful, you have a nice boss fight." Hope that helps you Cliffy

I'm just using the attachment feature for this, I can't be bothered to sit and upload via my file hoster. I might do that tomorrow, LoL.

Regarding: Suggestive Themes
I'll be basically agreeing with the above. Nothing wrong other than mild violence and some small swear words (about 3 of those words and 2 have been quoted). The suggestive themes is one that has stumped me for a while. There's a level in Tokyo where Lara is wearing a slightly revealing dress that she rips up. The dress reveals some underwear and it emphasises her chest area but I wouldn't call it suggestive. There's also the possibility of it regarding Lara/Anaya, Lara/Amanda and Zip/Alister relationships. Some fans have suggested that there's going on between the couples but nothing is actually ever said or done in the game, LoL. Buy it for your son and I'm sure he'll enjoy it =)

I know what will happen next.....
