Vennesa fell to her knees after being held up and fought the tears. She got to her feet and looked back at Elcrone. "Thanks," Vennesa said trying not to sound weak. She wanted to say, 'OMG thank you so much... I could have died but you saved me,' but didn't want to seem like a weakling. She looked down at the others smiling. She looked back at Elcrone. "So... Uh... What are you doing up here?"

'Just scouting," Elcrone said with a shrug of his shoulders. "Let's get every body up here"

After everyone was up, they continue down the long tunnel until they came to an open area with a pit on the far side. Elcrone pulled out his binoculars and told the others, "there is a door in the pit. And it looks like we need to find a way of opening it. Man I wish I had explosives with me" he said, smiling to himself.

"Are there any wolves down there? Or something...worse?" I said, petrified by my fear of death. I was nearly mauled by the pack of wolves earlier, probably due to the fact that the only "firepower" I had caused in my life was setting off bottlerockets as a pre-teen. "Don't be a sissy, Zak. That won't get you very far deep in the heart of a Peruvian tomb." Elcrone said dryly, scanning the area with his binoculers. "That's comforting..." I thought. "Dammit. No levers in sight. We might have to go down there and search in the friggin' shadows." Elcrone said angrily as he clipped the binoculers back on his belt. "And what do you recomend?" Chastity said, looking at the destroyed room. "You and Ven are gold and silver medal gymnists, yes? Why don't you just shimmy yourselfs down those rocks?"

"I've had enough brushes with death for today, thank you." Venessa said, still shaking from the climbing incident. Everyone looked at Chastity.

"Can we actually do something? I'm freezing." I said impatiently.

After I had seen Vanessa clambering for her life, I decided that pole vaulting seemed to be a not so good idea.

"Right," I said, "I'll find my own way up there I think." I spotted a ledge about 15 metres above ground level. It was far too high for me to jump up to, but I figured that my martial arts skills would come in handy. "Hey, Susie! Grab this," I threw up my Handgun, my baton, and my body armour up to the girl. "Whatever you do, don't press the button near the trigger! It's the safety and it's on at the moment. I don't want you to mess things up!!" I looked towards the ledge. "Right...let's get this thing over with!" I leant backwards for momentum and then immeadiately arched forwards into a sprint. Before my body came into contact with the wall, I jumped towards it. I grabbed the wall with my hands and began clambering up the wall towards the ledge. I grabbed it, and then shimmied sideways to where the others were. Finally I climbed up and brushed myself off. "Well, I've had worse! Thanks Suse." I said grabbing my gear.

"Wait lemme guess" said tino to Lara, We're gonna climb up to the tunnel without climbing gear and STILL try to reach the artefact before they do. "well" said Lara to tino after putting her binoculars away "if we go on tht other path rather than the regular one, we might be able to go faster.. its tougher... but ur athletic right????" "Only trained by the best" said tino retightening his gloves

"Huh?" Vennesa said turning around. She then saw the objects flying. She lunged towards them catching them before they fell.

"Umm... Yeah... Sure." Vennesa gave the gear back and started rubbing her shoulders. Vennesa was frozen. "Seriously if I had known I was going to some place like the Arctic I wouldn't have worn shorts, a thin long sleeve shirt." Vennesa said shivering.

How dare he... Vennesa thought. She marched over to the guy. "Hey you think you are freezing? Huh? Are you in a pair of shorts? Hmm? Are you wearing a freaking gymnastic uniform? You should think about that!" Vennesa marched away from the guy towards Chasity. Vennesa didn't mean to be rude but she was frozen and had no clue why in the world she was there. "Okay peoples! Hello!" Vennesa said trying to get everyones attention. "I will go down the rocks... And will Chasity be joining me?"

Chasity heard what the Scion was and felt as if she was with a group of...freaks, but she decided to say something back.

''I see...you don't want it to fall into the wrong hands so we're in a race against time or something? Its like a Sci-Fi film.''she laughed to herself.

Okay it seems that we are the only two that are normal here. Yes I know we haven't gotten along too well in the past but come on... Are you buying this? Chasity?

''What?''she looked at Vennesa. ''Oh, oh. I know what you mean, but I don't know maybe you should listen to the guy. Who knows?''Chasity was confused. WEas she really gonna believe they were after some magical artifact, I mean, this wasn't a video game or a movie. Maybe all those archaeologists needed was a reality check.

''Are you guys sure that Scion thing even exists?''but then she saw Venessa had fallen of the pole trying to impress her and was hanging on crevis for her life. She saw that Elcrone was smiling and he wasn't doing anything.

''What the hell is wrong with you.''she ran over to Ven, but Elcrone had come and helped her up.

''Oh, its a good thing you came back. For a second there, I thoguht you were gonna let her fall.''Chasity gave an evil glare to the guy thinking, Oh, yeah buddy. Let's all smile and watch Ven fall of a ledge.

''You okay Ven?''she asked, following the team.

Vennesa smiled "well i guess i can agree with that," She said with a giggle. Vennesa looked down in the dark and gloomy surface down below. "Okay, we are going to need some help... From a flash light." Vennesa turned around and spotted a flashlight on Elcrone's belt next to his binoculars. She walked passionatly towards him. "Uh... Eclrone..." Vennesa batted her eyes and grabbed the light. "I'm gonna' need this," She said walking away and turning it on giggling. "Alright you ready Chasity?" Vennesa grabbed a gap and made sure it wasn't going to break. It was stable. She then started making her way down.

As Elcrone watched Ven take his flashlight, he drew his gun and pointed it down the tunnel from where they had come.

Everybody started at him, not knowing what he was going to do.

"Sorry, thought I heard something," Elcrone said as he holstered his weapon. He turned and watched Ven and Chasity make their way down the rocks. We don't have time for this thought Elcrone. He pulled out a grabbling hook from his pack, made sure it was tight against a rock, and descended down the cliff. He passed Ven and Chasity as they went down. He made it to the bottom and looked up. They were only half way.

(OOC: I hope that I can type in Ven instead of Vennesa, cause I don't really know how to spell it.

((OOC: No Ven is okay... ... BIC))

Vennesa watched as Elcrone made his way down. "What the...?" Vennesa said aloud. "Hey! What are you doing?" Vennesa finally made her way down. "Elcrone? What was it? Did you actually think we couldn't make it? Or... Wait... Were you worried for us?" Vennesa didn't wait for his reply. "Well whatever, we are down here now... Chasity come on we don't have all day!" Vennesa yelled waiting for Chasity to finally reach ground.

"Wait here for the others, I'm going to have a look about," Elcrone said as he wandered off into the darkness. Elcrone really wanted to get away from the others to think.

How could he have done this? He wanted the Scion for himself but what he did wass hire a group of explorers and didn't know how much they knew about it.

Elcrone wandered down to the door and stood looking at it. Looking at it made him have a flashback from thousands of years ago that he didn't know how though. He just stood there, looking at the door.

Wait here for the others, I'm going to have a look about

Vennesa looked at him weird. "Oh... Okay."

Minutes went by and there was still no sign of Elcrone. "Where the devil is he?" Vennesa leaned against a wall and then slid to her butt while taking a sigh. "Seriously Chasity this is boring. We are searching for a mystical object that sounds like it is from a Harry Potter book. I mean, c'mon are these people serious?" Vennesa flipped open her cell that she realized was still with her. "e has been hone for quite a while. Maybe we shou--" Vennesa was cut off by the sound of Nelli Fortado's 'Promiscuous'. "What? Seriously how am I getting a signal?" Vennesa looked at the caller. "Oh crap it is my dad!" Without hesitation Vennesa threw the phone into a close wall and watched it fall to pieces. She stared at the broken pieces as she missed her father. To erase the memories of him she got to her feet. "Maybe we should look for Elcrone... I am going... You coming?" Vennesa asked Chasity as she slowly walked into the cave. She followed the pathway which parts were ice. Vennesa slipped and fell onto her butt. "Owwee," She yelped as she just sat there. Vennesa then spotted a small word, an I mean very small, in a corner on the wall. "Huh? What's that?" Vennesa said getting to her hands and knees and motioning towards it. She rubbed off the snow and dirt that covered the writing. "I can't read it... It's in some weird language..."

Elcrone looked over his shoulders as he heard Chasity fall. He smiled to himself thinking that they won;t be witth him for long. He pulled out his sword and began to run it along the door lines, hopeing to see something that would give him a hint as to how to proceed. As the others made it to the bottom, he saw that Ven was looking at a rock not far from him.

((OOC: LOL it was Ven that fell not Chasity! LOL... BIC))

Vennesa looked around the wall to see Elcrone looking at some door. She looked back at Chasity and shrugged her shoulders. "So do you have any clue to what this says Chasity?" Vennesa looked at it more closely. "I took quite a couple different languages in school but this doesn't look or sound like any of them..."

"Let me have a look at it!" I bellowed down from the entrance. Terrified, I took a gentle step onto the first rock. A big fraction of what little air there was was sucked quickly into my lungs as I jumped to another rocky platform. I instantly knew this was a bad move. However, when the rock shattered I had only fallen a few feet to the ground. Thank God. Holding my head, I worked my way over to the text and flicked on my flashlight. "It looks like the same language that was on the door. In any case, I can't make heads or tales of it. I would say that it's all greek to me but..." I said, letting myself have a hushed chuckle at my sad attempt at humor. "And it seems that this is one of..." I said, moving my flashlight a few feet up and down, revealing thousands of tiny symbols. "Many symbols." I finished.

"Figures. We find full blown instructions on how to survive this dank forgotten hole, and it's in a dead dialect." I said angrily, flicking off my light and crossing my arms.

"Found anything yet, Elcrone?" I yelled back to the mysterious sealed door.

"I know," Vennesa said looking at all of them. She turned around and walked towards the door that Elcrone was at. "Why don't we just open it?" Vennesa asked before realizing that she couldn't. "Oh... Hahaha... I see," Her cheeks went read from embarassment. God Vennesa you are so stupid! She thought placing her head on her forehead. Vennesa walked back to where they entered. She looked up to see the amount of height she had climbed down from. She walked back into the cove with the others. "Hey, you guys..." She walked up to them. "If we can't get this door open is there any way of getting back up to where she came from?"

"HEY LARA" tino shouted breathlessly "Where next?" "IN THERE" shouted Lara. "Woah said tino looks we've had sum cumsy ppl round here" seeing the broken poles.."It still is possibe..if u hve a magnetic grpple. said Lara. "I bet i'll get across faster without using tht thing" said tino,"ur on" said Lara.. after performing a series of wall cimbing and flips, tino found Lara was wiating paitienty, "u done already" said Lara b4 contiuing till they reached where chasity and (von croy jr.????) were talking. "Wait" said Lara " there's sum1 down there... "we'll" take'm out" said tino "No" said Lara "Lets listen." just then they heard them taking bout it being a lost ancient dialect. "Wait" whispered tino to Lara "wut they taking bout?" "Prob sumthing to do with how to open the door ahead... which they most likely hvent opened. Just then Lara shifted and sent a few pebbles down "Ok now we use the magnetic gapple" said tino as he threw his grapple forward as Lara did the same...and as if magic the both swan dived forward coordinatey until they were five feet aboove the ground, grasped theyre ropes and slid down, and with drew they're guns and pointed them at chasity and (von croy Jr.??) "sry to break up the prty"said Lara "but who r u?" said tino with his guns poised, but soon loosened his grip when he saw chasity, but still he tried not to get distracted by her as he retightened his grip

I watched as the others dropped down from the rocks. "Screw that, I'm staying here incase we can't get back up." I whispered to myself. They were trying to read some ancient dialect I had never seen in my entire life. Hearing Vanessa worry about getting back up gave me the motives to reply, but before I could I heard a very posh British accent. A grapple hook connected to the rocks above me. "Darn, I'd better hide!" With that I hid behind a large rock and watched as a woman and a man appeared. One was called Lara, but I didn't catch the other man's name.

After conversing, both of them swan dived to the people below. "Whoa...." They withdrew their weapons and pointed them at the group. I went against my better instincts to save them all, and instead watched as the moment unfolded behind the large rock.

Oh, my god... Chasity thought. A gun, a gun is pointed in our face. Oh, my God...we're all gonna die!!!

''Th-this is Venessa a-and I'm Ch-ch-chasity. Please take the gun outta my face.''she put her finger on it and pointed the gun away. ''Please don't kill us, we're friendly peoples.''not a good way to meet the famous Lara, huh? I thought so...

"Dont worry" said Lara "im not intersted in killing u Miss Chasity" repointing the gun.."im just interested in finding Elcrone.. he knows more about this artefact than he should " "U kno Lara i dont think these two r the only ones down here" said tino, hearing a conversation between a man and a woman coming from behind them."Elcrone" said Lara with a mean voice as she holstered her gun and walked toward the direction of the voice.."u stay here" said Lara

As Lara crept towards Elcrone's hushed voice, I grew more tense. No one was going to ruin this for me, not even Lara Croft herself. "Get out of here!" I barked at her, pointing a previously hidden revolver from my backpack. Lara turned her head, raised an eyebrow and kept going. I knew Lara was a "take no crap" kind of woman. She needed a little...coaxing. I fired three bullets past her ear. She immedietly stopped. "Shall I move this gun a few inches closer or will you mosy on back to the summit?" I demanded, my face twisted in seething anger.

(OOC: "*M. Night Shamalan(sp?) voice* 'Vat a tweest!")

As I heard the noise behind me, I heard Lara's voice. Time to go I thought to myself. I reached into a little hole next to the door, a hole that I stood in front of as Ven came over. After she went back to the others, and after Lara and Tino had come to the ground, I reached in the hole and found a lever, I pulled it and the door opened. I looked over my shoulder then went inside the door. As soon as I got inside the door closed behind me. I continued to another chamber and found a hole in the ceiling. I threw my grabble and pulled up. I contintued down to anther chamber with two bridges. I stood looking at the scene.

I knew that the others would have deserted me when they found out that I wanted the Scion. As I stood there, I heard a sound from below me. Suddenly a man appeared below. I drew my gun and pointed it at him.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" I asked

"Larson, and I am here to make sure a certain woman collects the Scion." he replied.

I flipped off the edge and landed next to him. I put my gun in his face. I sensed something was wrong with this character.

"If you shoot me, Natla won't be hapy," he sneered.

"Oh I count on it," I said as I pulled the trigger. He fell to the gorund and I made my way back up to the upper level. I crossed the bridges and came to another chamber with a large pit in the middle.

"LARA GO" tino said "Elcrone is getting away" and with one quick move tino hit the back of zakk's head with the butt of his desert eagle."tht'll shut u up 4 awhile i said"

''I knew it! I knew there was something wrong with that guy, I just couldn't put my finger on it.''Chasity said and then she heard a thump. Zak had been knocked out. ''Venessa, do you think it was a good idea to run away? I mean, look at what's goin' on! Elcrone just ran off, Lara Croft herself after him, and Zack is unconscious.''
