i just saw Sweeney Todd and it was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is my fave movie ever! i loved the gothic imagery of it all and Johnny Depp and Alan Rickman looking and singing amazingly. I know it may not be everyones taste but to me it was amazing. If it is not nominated for any oscars i will not be very happy!

Well I finally went to see the new Rambo movie today and is was great!

We finally got to see I am legend at the weekend and we all enjoyed it, although it did make me question the cure for alzeimers/parkinsons which was in the news! They showed a trailer for Jumpers which looks good.

I've just finished watching Sweeney Todd, I thought it was amazing (as far as musicals go) I recommend you all see this. It's not too gory, the blood is a bit fake, but i really have no comparison seems as I've never slit a throat, and it left one part of the plot open right the end...

It's an awesome film, isn't it?

I won't ruin it for you, but the book is quite a bit different, and better, in my opinion. The book was my Dad's ages ago, and he gave it to me for my 8th Birthday as I was into reading and wanted something a bit more challenging to read. I loved it, personally, but it's nothing like the film, which is good in a way, because then I can't compare them. I think they're both fantastic.

I went out and saw the movie U23D today. It was utterly awesome!Everything about that movie is incredible. The directing,mixing,sound and vid editing, layering,production.....all top notch. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the time. It was maybe an hour and 15 minutes.Other than that it is well worth it. I will certainly be getting that on Blu-ray when it comes out!

Went to see Be Kind - Rewind at the weekend. It's without doubt the worst movie i've seen in about 10 years. Both the girls love Jack Black and i'd seen the trailer and thought it might be quite funny - how wrong i was - not one laugh!

I understand the moral behind the story and all that but just thought it was a total mishmash of trash.

Danny Glover was appalling as the old man, Jack Black's character was simply irritating (he even did the same guitar moves as in School of Rock). the problem with Jack Black is that he thinks he's funnier than his audience and therefore doesn't try too hard - this was obvious in this film. Mos Def was probably the only character that didn't annoy me.

But it's a good thing you posted this 'cause I was psyched that it was coming out since I hadn't seen Jack do a movie. Now I'm just sad! Jack, fix yourself up man...
