I'm not doing very well. I've gone back to the same checkpoint so many times that I think I'm in the movie Groundhogs Day. I haven't sought out help yet, so I may get better with time.

I miss the old games where you could save game right before a tough maneuver and if you got killed you just start back at that point. That doesn't seem possible here.

well it wasnt in the first one actually, there were save crystals if you dies you ended up doing like half the level again

And that is why I am very grateful I'm a PC Tomb Raider player rather than a PS one. I'm not a big fan of checkpoints and limited saves

Sanctuary Of The Scion, left of at the room with the huge statues and water.
I have two of the walkways down in Obelisk of Khamoon...

oh god i found that level so hard, im not even gonna attempt the time trial, i kept getting lost and some of the traps down the hallways are so hard to get through, mainly because it dont work perfectly and glitches on the last pole so you just miss it or you always lose balance on the last one and get squashed

I just finished Natla's Mines and a little dissappointed. In the original did you not have to actually have a shooting fight with the skater kid? I was really looking foreward to having a short shoot fight but oh well. Also in the prev level i was actually hoping after Lara dives into the water and gets on her bike that we would actually get to get on the bike like in Legend. I was really hoping to hop some sweet jumps. Again oh well.

Since I Work 2 Full Time Jobs, I Can Hardly Play At All. I Finally Got The Last Key In St. Francis Folly And Am Tryin 2 Get Past The Wall Run In The Damocles Room

thats my favourite level! it makes sense not to have shootouts just shooting away at their life when in reality one shot would do it, the way you kill larson is really good very emotional and really makes you realise youre killing someone. if you want shootouts play legend! they got rid of the skate park because they thought the idea of an underground skate park in atlantis is actually ridiculous which it is, plus after killing larson lara wouldnt suddenly have no worries about killing someone else straight away so i liked how they killed eachother instead. and if you read the bios for them it adds story to them that they dnt like eachother (kold and kid).

I'm in that water room with the timed gates...it looks like you just have to backtrack alot of time around to that drop switch...

I beat the game! :o and i am very impressed! I loved the fight with Natla... and the ending movie which was great! Very happy with the game! OOoooo and I got the wetsuit! Very happy!

i only just realised the best way to beat her yesterday, you have to run at her, do the adrenaline dodge at her instead of to a side sand lara jumps over her and you can shoot her in the back

I was beginning to think I'm the only one playing still... I just started Natla's mines...I missed one area in the beginning that's way out over the water that must be a relic or something...I got past the lava before I stopped playing for the night....

You guys play fast. After 5 days I've finally finished The Lost Valley. Time for a mug of fermented chicha. :)

I'm playing through kinda fast and not looking for everything...I just went through Natla's mines which was kind of disappointing...now I'm about halfway up the area with the pods and grapple hooks...

i got 100% complete last nite, only had the game a week, its not as big as it first seems. got golden shotgun and silver mini smgs, shotgun holds like 64 bullets without reloading and is one shot kill, smgs shoot 400 before reloading but again one shot kill so pointless lol.

Finished it last Wednesday. That third checkpoint inside the pyramid gave me all sorts of hell.

Of course, I didn't get all the goodies in this run. Now I'm going back for them, and I've completed the Mountain Caves in time trial mode.

OMG!!

At last, I've finished the Damocles hellroom and i'm out of St Francis Folly!! I would have gone insane if I had to spend another minute trying to wall run to that ledge - lucky for me, Becky came in and said 'let me have a try, and of course, made it to the column first time! so then I went to grab the handhold and.......fell off! hehehe - Becky said 'well, I don't think I'll do it again' 'please try' I pleaded - got to the point again, and, no, it was obviously a fluke! aaaagh, 2 hours later, Becky strolled back in again, 'oh, let's have another go' - yup, she did it again and I was very, very careful (to the point of being ridiculous, it's a game for god's sake!) and finally made it out!

so, thanks Becky, couldn't have done it without you (note to self, find Becky at wall-running points in the game!)

:woho::woho::woho:

Way to go larsonsmother! That wall run and jumping to the column to the left gave me at least 30 minutes of frustration myself!

I've just started Tomb of Tihocan.....

Omg, I'm so glad I'm not the only person who really hated that part.

Jumping off the wall to that column, it was absolutely rediculous, it took me forever. But now I can do it on my first shot everytime... practice makes perfect!

I give it about a week before I memorize the whole maze at the house. :D

I In The Tomb Of Tihocan With The 2 Horseman. I Cant Beat Them Due 2 A Bug. I Try 2 Go 4 The Shield, But The Grapple Only Stays On 4 A Split Second. I Only Push The Grapple Button Once But It Still Dont Work. Plus I Shoot 1 Until The Rage Meter Fills Up, But Then The Other Horseman Attacks. I Am Playing The Ps2 Version. But Now U Know Where Im At

I looked at that for the longest time wondering how in the heck by swinging sideways was Lara going to make the jump to that column. It wasn't until I got my camera angle in the proper position, that she jumped towards the column. It was totally pure luck that I made it.

The changing camera angle also caused me grief trying to get through the swords checkerboard thing. It was just by the sheer repetition that I was able to adjust the camera angle on the fly and make my moves to finally get through. That took me forever.

I spent over 8 hours on that level.
