I have finally beaten the game. i am now going back and getting all the artifacts and relics.

Some tricky time trials - i have to repeat them guzilion times!! LOL

Official progress status: Exhausted; I really can't be bothered anymore. I think I got up to the Greece time trials and just got bored. I think the time trials are pointless classic TR style was better (But its better that you can replay levels obviously) So now my PS2 is packed up under my bed awaiting the next TR game if I don't get it on Wii (which I dont have) or the new GTA game which if i can afford it will be on PS3 (I wont hold my breath)

Yesterday I made my boyfriend finish Obelisk of Khamoon for me. I sooo hate blades. I actually jump everytime they kill Lara.

I needed Stella's Guide to reach this artifact: http://www.tombraiders.net/stella/walks/TR...s/obelisk9.html. I didn't thought it would be possible to reach it this way.

Oh, and we made it all without turn the blades on until the very last minute.

I had to do this twice. My computer fried after I completed it the first time. The second time, I started in mid-February. Today, I finished it. Total time: 9 hours, 5 minutes, 52 seconds.

Well.. After all this time I've managed to get to the Great Pyramid and get to where there are retracting ledges and whatnot. I'm permanently stuck in the part where you have to swing up via the grapple, then backflip and grapple again. I cannot seem to do it correctly or fast enough..the end result is always ending up in the lava. >_<

That's pretty much where I stopped playing. I could feel the frustration building so much I thought I was going to have coronary. LOLz

So I finally got the game yesterday. I haven't had that much time to play, so I'm only in the City of Vilcabamba. It's been kind of tricky mastering the controls, specially the combat system (that Adrenaline Dodge, argh), because I'm a PS2-er but I'm playing this one on the PC. Still, the game looks really promising and I'm really excited about it. I just hope the adrenaline dodge doesn't kick my butt when the time comes to fight the T. rex.

edit: Managed to fully master the controls, including the adrenaline dodge - which turned out to actually be very fun to perform once I got used to it. Finished Peru and am now in St. Francis Folly; hope to get it done tomorrow. I usually hate playing games on the PC, but I'm having bucketloads of fun playing this one. A vast improvement over Legend, and I really liked that one.

edit II: Finished Greece! The battle with the centaurs was awesome. Very nerve-wracking, but I got them on my second try. On to Egypt

I passed this game two years ago. It's good cince I played some part of TR1, this is the good remake. My favourite levels are "Lost Valley" and "Natla's Mines", expecialy the part where Lara is killing Larson.
