Ha, now i can progress as i have got to know how these QTE's work....likw when i was trying to get the bow from the swinging dead body. At first Lara wouldn't reach out to grab it (at least not far enough) because i had walk enabled. After i toggled it to run she could grab it.

Oh yes, i;m not going to let the QTD's stop me now...

Hello all ... please help me ..... I feel like an idiot.....I am at the first mashing E scene and can't get the spike/shard out of her....I have mashed fast and I have mashed slow - how long are you supposed to hit the key before it pulls it out???? Desperate please.........

Well i had the same problem and got some good advice from the lovely folk on this forum. First, don't try to tap too fast. The trick is to tap at a slower but steady pace. Also, turn your graphics down to low....people say that seems to help although i didn't have to.

You can always turn your graphics higher again after.

So try to tap the E key a little slower but not too slow. You will see the difference then.
