so maybe this will be taken down or some.....but i just wanna say what i think of the new TR and lara croft. i have not played the new TR and ROTTR (that sounds weird) i have seen some game play of both games and i have to say the graphics look amazing. the gameplay is new and diiferent and i guess that is a good thing, but i did not really get the TR feeling with any of the games even though lara gets into tombs eventually. lara herself, it looks like they did not only changed her apearance but also her personality and backstorie. overall i just don't like it, i would actually play the games if i could though because then i would know more about it then just first impressions, but i don't have the moneys for it. so yeah, i actually have not much to go with on this forum that is why i mostly will be inactive. oh and mods, you can movie this to somewhere else if this post does not belong here, because i did not know where to post it anyways.

hey morpheanne, sorry for the late reply. damn i remember being extremely active on this forum in the beginning days. but now my life has changed so much.

i guess i will explore the forum sometime soon, even though i am busy most of the time hope to see more familiar people on here

i dont get what angelina has to do with tomb raider anymore, she only played lara twice and after that everybody saw her as "the reall lara croft" while she looks absolutley nothing like lara with her blue eyes and black hair, also she not the most atractive woman in the world, there are lara models who look much better then her.

so a bloodrayne 3? danm, i played bloodrayne 1 and loved it, i looked all over for bloodrayne 2 but never found it, i guess i was too late in buying it so it was off the market. it kinda bugs me that i will be able to play part 3 while i could not play part 2.

ah good old TR2 and TR3, i play them very often still because THAT is the tomb raider games i fell in love with. kinda of a shame that you guys are already halfway going trough the game i would love to have joined in, but i guess i am too late.

yay!!! the rant thread! what to rant about? lemme see..... i hate it how i have both a fysical and a mind sickness (i dont know how to spell "dezice" right now ) both pain and fear rule my life because of those two, and the pills i have to take. i hate it how people always look down at others because they dont have what those people do have. i hate it how everybody thinks that when you are over 20 you SHOULD have a relationship because that is "standart" in a humand life. and i hate how that is NOT standart in my life. and above all i hate phone companies; "good day sir, we have very good news for you, you will have a free lottery ticket but first you have to awnsers osme questions!" *hippo hangs up the phone*

i remember i posted more then one picture of me trough the years on this forum, i wonder where all those pictures went? deleted when the site changed? i have no good pictures of me as i am now, i look horrible on pictures anyway!

i never knew how to use the level editor either, i actually only loaded it up once and then my computer froze and i had to restart everything, after that i never tryed to use it again. it is kinda silly they just gave away classic TR game making to the fans i think, i have no intrest in all in making my own TR games. (yeah i know, what am i doing here? )

heh, i was really looking forward to seeing the trailer, but i am not a youtube member so i can not watch it because it can only be watched by youtube members. maybe i am way too late though and this is old news or something haha

it is funny to see the kurtis trent fanclub is still alife and kicking, even though kurtis did not aprear in any game after AOD, at all. so the point of kurtis in TR? there is, i think, no point at all. he plays a role in the game and you get to play as him, but at the end he dies. also i did not like playing the caracter since he was too heavy and could not make those feather light jumps that lara makes. if there is some special move or jump he could do in the game then i never found or know how to use it. and stopping bullets? hubblewhat? i am, for one, glad that he did not return in TR (sorry girl fans).

i have not been a into TR a lott for years, so i dont really know a lott about what i am going to say. but is it true that the newest game with lara croft in it is going to be not a tomb raiding game but a survival game? one of my friends told me and i read something about it in a game magazine, that they were going to make lara croft younger (just out of collage) and that she somehow would land on a island full of dangers and she had to survive using skills and her surrounding. i did not really like that, that they made her a child again (the "new" lara croft) and that the game would probably not be about tomb raiding, she wont even have her twin guns? does anyone know more about this, or is there something about this on the forum?

it seems like LCO never stopped changing.... hello i am terry, i am if i remember right one of the first members ever of LCO, i started off with the name terry, after that i was "hippo from the lake" and i was even a moderator! i dunno if i had an other nick after that but i remember that the forum was very small in the begining. i dont know who of the origenal members are still on here, becasue the new members might not reconize me at all. i just tryed my forum nick hippo with my password and i am still a member!!!! that is nice to know, i always had LCO close to my hearth but i have not been on any forum for a long time since my life was kinda....unstable. when i was in town a week ago, i saw TR underworld in a shop for only 10 euro's so i bought it. i always loved the old TR games, tomb raider 1 to 5. i also played AOD, legend and aniversery (i never know how to spell that!!! ) i dont know if there are any other games that came out between ANI and underworld. i have not start playing underworld yet but i saw demos and it seems like a nice game, though i hope the annoying blue arrows are not part of it (you know what i mean?) i might start playing it soon, i hope so anyway, i bet i am kinda behind on playing tomb raider but lara is still my fav. game caracter (her new version looks reall cute:wub: ) so i dropped in here, maybe seeing some old buddy's and some new faces. i hope i can post more on the forum because i really would love to be a part of the group once more (thought the last time i tryed i did not stick and i am really sorry for that) hope to get to know some people again, brother and sister TR lovers haha see you around and raid on!

wow thanks everybody everybody, its nice to see some still know me. i already posted in some other topics so there is a big chance i will stay this time.

i always thought that it was a bit of a shame that with TR legend they changed the controls, years and year playing TR 1 till 6 i have gotten used to the controls they had in those games, but in TR legend the controls suddenly were changed and i was compleetly confused becouse i had to do it different all of the sudden! to tell you the truth i just switched the controls back to their old functions again in the option menu of TR legend becosue i could not figure it out and my fingers were so used to the old ones while my eyes reconized lara on the screen. but oh well, the controls are the only thing i find confusing in the game, all the otehr rest was just supercool and so does TRAE look. altough i hope those stupid blue FMV arrows will be banned from the game! they even made us control lara in the clips between levels! i always saw those FMVs as restpoints where i coudl enjoy watching it, but that has also changed, oh well...cant have everything.

i have seen the TRAE trailer on this website and i must say it looks really cool, finally some more monsters and animals to fight again! raptors a T rex and i even saw a bear (thats like even more exciting then a T rex) i though the TR legend games did not have enough monsters in it to fight, only monsters i saw there were those serpents and that monster that amanda could summon. but this looks like good old TR action again! i dont think i can resist buying it when it comes out!

sssooo ok, i have been away like years, i even returned a few times posting in a topic like this on this forum but i never really stayed at LCO. some members must remember me since i saw my name in the "veteran members" topic. but tsill i will re introduce myself. my name is terry and im now actually 25 years old, i have been on this forum in the past for quite some time, i even think i was one of the first members but im not sure of that anymore. i have been a member but also a moderator, but i dont think i will be ever again, but that does not matter. my name here always has been hippo, or hippo from the lake. i love tomb raider and even though i did not visit this forum long time i still keeped being a TR fan, and i have all the games of lara, even the legend one (and im craving for the TRA edition) ok, i really weally hope i will be honest this time when i say i will stay, becouse i want to, but if i lack that, yo ushoudl know im no big lose. oh and hi to GIA and Bpanther who i still know best in this new forum.
