I can't believe the Houston Texans have now won 8 games in a row after starting the season at 0-3. They are now 8-3.

The girl holding the package of fried chicken is asking the other girl "what is that?" and the other girl says "chicken" and the former replies: "I am going to be sick!!" Really? I am sure they have KFC there! They had a crisis earlier this year where 3% of the 900 KFC restaurants in UK ran out of raw chicken to fry due to a supply chain problem. Also there are Walmart in the UK, operating under ASDA, which the Arkansas company acquired for £6.7 billion in 1999.

I made it through another almost 21 hours Black Friday day !! This is the 13th years I've done this !! I haven't seen my family since about 6:30 pm on Thursday after we ate our Thanksgiving dinner. I went to sleep and got up about 1:30 am and then went to work and have been there until I returned just now. Now to eat, shower, and take a nap and back to it by 6:30 a.m. !! The sheep masses want their materialistic consumer goods !!

It's week 12 of 17. After that exciting thrilling game on Monday, i don't think I can ever watch NFL football again. I doubt any of the remaining games this week and the next 5 weeks will be as exciting as Monday night's game.

Warner Bros. Pictures and actress Margot Robbie have revealed the full title for the upcoming Harley Quinn spin-off film which has been going by the name “Birds of Prey” so far. Robbie shared on Instagram the title page of Christina Hodson’s script which has “Birds of Prey” typed out followed by the hand-written “(And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)”. THR has subsequently confirmed that yes that is the full title and not just the actress having some fun. In other words, it’s a riff on both “Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb” and “Birdman (or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)”. Robbie reprises the Quinn role in the film in which she assembles a girl gang of friends to take on Black Mask (Ewan McGregor). The film co-stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain. Peppermint (2018) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6850820/ One of the better "Revenge/Vigilante" movie in the same league as Kill Bill, Death Wish 1974, Taxi Driver, Taken and John Wick. Jennifer Garner holds up her own as an action heroine out for revenge after members of the Mexican cartel murders her daughter and husband. The movie dwells a bit on the right and on the wrong part and whether she has the right to take the law in her own hand. Fortunately it doesn't get too preachy. The ending makes me thing this may become a movie Franchise for Jennifer Garner - which by the way this film is from the same director who gave us Taken. 4/5

Both the Chiefs and the Rams get a bye week this week. When they made the entire season schedule months ago for all teams, was this bye week already put in there? No one would had known back then that both team will be 9-1 and that the MNF game will be a high scoring game. I just wonder if the bye week was put in after last night game. I find it too much of a coincidence they get a bye week. This is this week's schedule with 3 games on Thursday, which is Thanksgiving Day for us here in the USA and it's a tradition to eat turkey and watch NFL football on that day. Finally finish watching the entire The Haunting of Hill House series, all 10 episodes, totaling over 9 1/2 hours. It took me over 3 weeks. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6763664/ My thoughts: it could had been shorter, a lot shorter!! The repetition of the same dozens scenes over and over was fastidious: they will show a scene for example a character in the kitchen and then cut away to another scene. Then in another episode they will show another scene which seque into that character in the kitchen and then cut away again. Then in another episode they will show a bit more of just before the part before the character went to the kitchen and then the character in the kitchen. It was quite annoying that they did that over and over with dozens of set pieces. If you took all those repetitive scenes over and over each one with just a few more minutes of exposition in front of it and added them all up, you had enough material for at least 3 episodes and they don't really make that much of the difference on the story. Also episodes 6 and 7 were very annoying to watch - they were just poorly written and they kept dragging on and on like a broken record. Finally I already said this before and now that I have viewed the entire series, I will say it again: the story is about a haunted house and I don't mind a bit of character development but there was way too much character development and not enough information on the house: why is it haunted? What's the story of the people who built it and lived there before? They kind of touched on that information here and there but not in much detail and then ghosts of people past will appear and some of them except for a couple who had a bit more backstory were just there: you don't know who they are, why they are there, who they were when they were alive, what connection they had to the house, etc. There were also parts that made no sense in term of continuity of the whole story especially in Episode 10. Honestly if they ended the series at the end of Episode 9, it would also not had made any difference. This series is based on the 1969 novel of the same name which was also the basis of the 1963 film (the horro classic with Julie Harris and Claire Bloom) and the 1999 film (the stinker with Llam Neeson and Catherine Zeta Jones, remember it?), both with the title of The Haunting. I think I still like the 1963 film adaptation better than this over long 9 1/2 hours plus series.

She is a liar again when she tells Bill Paxton's character she hasn't seen that Heart of the Ocean diamond in years when in truth she had it the whole time the past 84 years. She is a tramp because she cheated on her fiancee and back in those days, women cheating on men were considered a cardinal sin - something as serious as committing murder. She is a self-centered selfish woman because there was enough room on that floating piece of wood for both she and Jack.

Where does one even begin when it comes to Stan Lee? For starters, the movie business wouldn't look like it does today without him. The writer couldn't have envisioned when he first put ink to paper in 1939 that he'd be creating some of the most iconic, recognizable characters in the universe—Marvel or otherwise—or that he'd become a superhero himself among comic book fans. Lee died Monday, according to multiple reports. He was 95 and had been in frail health for some time, but still had writing, producing and cameo projects in the works, all stemming from his role as creator of Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Doctor Strange, Thor, the Silver Surfer and the X-Men, to name a few. The sprawling film franchises featuring these characters have grossed billions of dollars, turning superhero movies into the lifeblood of the big-budget blockbuster industry and prompting Disney to buy Marvel Entertainment for $4 billion in 2009. It all started with "Captain America Foils the Traitor's Revenge," a filler story in Captain America Comics #3 and his first work under the pseudonym Stan Lee (he was born Stanley Martin Lieber). Captain America was co-created by Joe Simon and artist Jack Kirby, the latter of whom would become Lee's primary creative partner for years until a still-controversial rift over giving credit where it was due sent Kirby packing for rival DC Comics in 1970. Despite the doubt in Lee's superpowers that has been lodged in the conversation, ensuring that his true role in the creation of the Marvel Universe a subject of debate among skeptics for years to come, he tirelessly churned out new stories—from political humor to Manga to his 2016 digital graphic novel God Woke—and helped keep the old ones alive for the rest of his life. He had a pacemaker installed in 2012, which prompted a few cancellations, but otherwise he remained on the go despite failing eyesight, which he acknowledged in January 2016 in an interview with Radio Times. "My eyesight has gotten terrible and I can't read comic books any more," Lee said. "The print is too small. Not only a comic book, but I can't read the newspaper or a novel or anything. I miss reading 100 percent. It's my biggest miss in the world." Earlier this year, Los Angeles police investigated allegations of elder abuse against Keya Morgan, who had been acting as Lee's business manager and advisor. In a video posted to social media, Lee defended Morgan, saying, "Anybody else who claims to be my rep is just making that story up." I would say bring back public burning at the stakes and roast her in public. Either that or send her ass back to Vietnam, on a barely floating boat, throwing it in the Coral sea and let her figure out the way to navigate it back to Vietnam. What would make her do something like that? Plus she was an employee in the strawberry industry. Imagine the distrust she has now created not just for strawberry and other fruits producing employers, but also for the consumers.
