The Terminator movie franchise gets going with another trilogy starting with T4. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=38231 Variety reports that Warner Bros. has acquired North American distribution rights to Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, triggering an early 2008 production start for a film that seeks to reinvent the cyborg saga with a storyline to be told over a three-movie span. WB plans to distribute "Terminator Salvation" in summer 2009. The "Terminator" film franchise got a new lease on life in spring, when privately funded Halcyon and its co-CEOs Victor Kubicek and Derek Anderson teamed with Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines executive producer Moritz Borman to acquire film, merchandising and licensing rights from ex-Carolco partners Andy Vajna and Mario Kassar. Kubicek, Anderson and Borman are producing the new film, with Peter D. Graves as executive producer. WB had first right of negotiation for domestic theatrical and TV distribution rights because the studio played the same role on 2003's Jonathan Mostow-directed "Terminator 3." The producers said that the new film will carry the size and scale of "Terminator 3," and will have an event-sized budget. Sony Pictures Entertainment, which distributed "Terminator 3" in most overseas territories, is expected to get first crack at a reprise. Several other territories are spoken for, including Japan, where Toho-Towa is expected to distribute once again. A screenplay has been completed by "Terminator 3" writers John Brancato and Michael Ferris, and the financiers and studio are close to locking a director. While industry buzz has Charlie's Angels director McG as the odds-on favorite for the assignment, the producers said no final decision had yet been made. "This is set in the future, in a full-scale war between Skynet and humankind," Anderson told the trade. Borman said: "The third film was really the conclusion of what happened in the 'now.' You will find the most-loved characters, but the intention here is to present a fresh new world and have this be the first of a trilogy." The producers said it wasn't yet clear whether Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back for his fourth appearance in the franchise that launched his movie career. "T3" was the last film in which he starred before becoming governor of California. "We've left it open for him to maybe do a cameo," Borman said. "He has an important job, as we know, and the final decision will be based on his desire and availability, along with what the director wants." In other words,it will be a post-apocalyptic setting.

Well the official date is Thursday, May 22, 2008, so you can figure it to be the weekend of Memorial day. One site that I saw simply said memorial day , i guess that was rather loose. That weekend is going to be busy at the box office.

That was good! I saw that a couple of days ago along with Letters from Iwo Jima directed by Clint Eastwood. Both werewell worth it. Whenever I get my next off day(long story,don't ask) I plan to go see The Bourne Utlimatum!

I just started Egypt. I used part of the alternate strategy listed at Stella's site to take out one of the horsemen and then took out the othere with no problem. I actually finally did to adrenaline dodge. I used my gamepad for it. I figured out to keep a calm mind thru it. With guns drawn keep going sideways,when the arrows come up just hit the jump button and then wait to hit the shoot button,no problem. Now I want to go back and actually try it on the T-Rex.

LOL,how could I forget about Forrest Gump seeing as how i'm from.... Alabama.

That is strange. Usually when I think of him dircting I think of Who framed Roger Rabbit and the Back to the future trilogy.

Well last week I saw a few new ones. Transformers~ it was pretty good,enjoyable yet reeked of Hollywood. Live Free or Die Hard~ if you liked previous Die Hard movies,you won't be disappointed. Children of Men~ really good movie,I liked it. I just came across this trailer. They are making a movie based on the old tv series Get Smart. Are you playing on PS2 or the PC? I am on the PC and have found it easiest to move the camera with the mouse to have the next pole directly ahead. Then you just hit the forward arrow or the W key and the jump button and you are there. On PS2 I guess it is similar,just move the camera to where the pole is ahead even if Lara isn't facing that way she will jump that way when you press forward.

Hopefully it will be like Legend where you can play it with or without the next-gen mode. I love the look of next gen but don't have the right set up on my puter for it yet and am really not in a rush for it yet. I would like to get the next gen at my own timing,not just to be able to play the next game.

Well since I finally finished the game recently Ican vote for Ghana with a very close second for England.

Basically it is great, but It was a little too easy and I didn't care for a boss in each level. I voted good.

I saw the one where you got Lara eaten by the giant mutant. Maybe she will give it an upset stomach.
