I got started late but then again,i'm not rushing it. Enjoying the scenery, finding some souvenirs (relics,artifacts) and trying to stay alive. I am currently in the lost valley going up against the T-Rex.

I was just thinking about that so I did a little reprogramming myself. The arrows with the right ctrl for jump and R-alt for roll.

I could try that. Still,I miss the big guns.

I'm right there with you. Trying to do the adreniline dodge on the keyboard is a pain.I only have two hands and one is on the mouse. The other,I have to stretch my pinky on one side and use my thumb on the other. I should get a gamepad just for the combat scenes. *sigh* I miss the Bazooka. Ha, i'm skipping the time trials, especially there.

Just got this tidbit of info from Stella's site. I was hoping you could go back and the water would still be on. It would have been nice to go home for a dip in the pool without having to turn on the water again.

I came across some pics of a place (or two) where Lara should go.

I finished Croft Manor and then went back and would have to start all over again. Once you finish it,isn't it supposed to be saved thru checkpoints or do they not hold over after you leave? I checked to see about manually saving like in the game but it didn't have that option showing.

Thank goodness,she's back... I was finally able to get my computer repaired and am now back to work on the Tomb Raider: Anniversary walkthrough. I have just posted a few revisions to the Peru levels and I'm progressing through Greece. I hope to have those levels online soon. Thanks to everyone who offered financial and emotional support.

I noticed that too (at the end of the demo). Whether or not it was intentional, it was cool.

I changed the settings on the demo to hard and the wolves got more aggressive.

I finally got it!!! I went to a few stores yesterday as well as different ones too. The gamestop at the mall had it,and I took it.

Out here.... Best Buy only has PS2 shown for release... next week. Walmart has the pc listed at the website but none are in any of the stores. Target doesn't even have it listed at their site. Circuit City has it at the site but doesn't mean it will be at the store. Gamestop has it listed but there is only a small rack for pc games. The store is mainly devoted to console games. I guess i'll try gamestop and/or Circuit City,maybe i'll get lucky.

It's not just gamestop. I went to 5 different stores (Gamestop,Best Buy,Circuit City,Walmart,Sam's Club) yesterday morning looking for it. Nobody had it or knew much about it. This is not the first time something like this happened around here with something I wanted. I was holding out to get it at Best Buy since I still have a gift certificate that I got for Christmas to redeem there. Only prob is their computer doesn't even show them getting the pc version,just the PS2. So this means I can try to pick it up tomorrow morning,if they still have any left. What are the chances they actually get enough in...very slim.

But Christopher Nolan doesn't mess around. The director's sequel to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, will become the first feature film to be partly shot in the IMAX format, an expensive and cumbersome process that typically is the province of documentaries and short films. Nolan will shoot four action sequences — including the introduction of the Joker, played by Heath Ledger — on IMAX. The move is one of Hollywood's most pronounced steps yet in its embrace of IMAX theaters, which are increasingly showing commercial fare on their giant screens. "There's simply nothing like seeing a movie that way," Nolan says. "It's more immersive for the audience. I wish I could shoot the entire thing this way." Typically, the feature films that play in IMAX theaters are simply stretched out to fill the enormous screens. That can dilute the picture quality and give the movie a wide, squat look. Shooting on IMAX, Nolan says, will have a twofold effect. The four scenes will fill the IMAX screens, some of which are eight stories high. And in traditional theaters, the scenes will appear more vivid (think high-definition television over standard). Don't expect many movies to follow suit. Only 280 IMAX theaters are in operation worldwide, and fewer than 100 show feature films. And shooting in the format is difficult. IMAX film, which is 10 times the size of standard film stock, is costly and must be shot using bulky cameras. And "they're loud," Nolan says. "We had to figure a way to eliminate the sound so we could shoot dialogue." In a rarity for Hollywood, the payoff isn't primarily financial, so far. "It doesn't have a huge effect yet on the money you bring in," says Chris Aronson, a distribution chief with 20th Century Fox, which carried Night at the Museum on IMAX. "But it does help make your movie more of an event." For Nolan, IMAX makes the moviegoing experience unique again. "You can't do this on any home theater," Nolan says. "Batman has some of the most extraordinary characters in pop culture. We wanted the Joker to have the grandest entrance possible. "I figured if you could take an IMAX camera to Mount Everest or outer space, you could use it in a feature movie."

The last I heard is that there are no plans to make another Alien or Predator film since they are making the Alien vs. Predator films. AVP2 is due out this December. At one point James Cameron had talked to Fox studios about teaming up with Alien Director/creator Ridley Scott about making a Alien 5 but Fox said "No thanks, We are making AVP." For me,I think it was around1998. My bro and I had moved out of the house into an apartment together to get started on our life away from home. He is the younger generation that grew up on the personal comps. He even went to a tech college here in town. Well when we moved out he got me started on the internet and I heard about games you can play on the pc at home. I grew up on video games on consoles like Coleco Vision and Atari and had missed it for awhile. So I went to the pc games section at a local store to see what they had that I might like. Most of it I didn't like till I saw Tomb Raider. I bought TR1 & 2 that day to try out. Lo and behold,I was hooked. It has been a wild and fun ride ever since then.

I just reread my post and realized it was a little confusing. I was talking about POTC3 being 3 hours, a FX extravaganza,well worth it with two thumbs up. I really don't know much about National Treasure yet other than the general idea behind the plot and it comes out in December. Sorry.

Sorry, but you will have to start all over from the beginning. The checkpoints don't seem to work except if you are still playing the game. Once you exit,you have to start over. Not until you get all 3 cogs in place. That is the exit to that level. The cogs work the contraption that eventually blocks the water from coming over the fall. edit~ Here is a screenshot behind the waterfall where the shotgun is. tra_2007_05_27_09_50_09_59.bmp

Has anybody found the shotgun yet? It is behind one of the waterfalls where you find the second cog.

I saw the National Treasure trailer when I went to see Pirates of the Carribean 3 today. I won't say much cuz there is a lot to be said about the movie. It is basically 3 hours long and well worth it. It is a true FX extravaganza. Simply put, two thumbs up!
