I took your advice Tom, I gave a similar one to the one you suggested a go, I also tried the Xbox pad and have to say I didn't realy like either of them. Is there anyone else who plays on a PC with a gamepad? Which do you use? Bondy

I need to get a new gamepad that is compatable with my Vista laptop. I curretly use a Sidewinder plug & play, which may not be very high tech but I love it! Tom had suggested a logitech I think but I gave it a try and didn't really get on with it. What I really what is a gamepad that is similar to my sidewinder, it has 6 main buttons (on the right) and 2 others plus 8 way pad (on the left) and 2 paddles at the back. Does anyone have any suggestions? I love my sidewinder and really don't ant to get rid of it, but needs must. Bondy

I recently saw a picture on Stella’s site with Lara stood in front of Big Ben clock tower (inside the tower). Can anyone tell me if this is a screenshot from a game or just another Lara picture? If it is from a game, which one? Bondy

Yup, have been running all the games in compatability mode, this worked well for Last Revelation and appears to work most of the time for chronicles, the game starts up, it is just this spinning problem (all the time with the sidewinder, and occasionally when the sidewinder is disconected). I have now tried one of the patches and that has made things no better and on occasions worse. With the patch the game take a long time to load and every so often the game will just spontaniusly shut down or a 'this programme has stopped working' messege will appear. I know it, I'm doomed. As some of you may have read I am having a little trouble with the Vista, TR Chronicles, sidewinder combination... so on that note....... I lost heart after reading really bad reviews about Angle of Darkness so never bought it which led to the downward spiral of not buying any new Tomb Raider games *hangs head in shame*. I am now back raiding and wanting to buy Angel of Darkness, Legend, Anniversary and Underworld, however, before spending my hard earned money can anyone tell me if they have been successful in playing any of the games with sidewinder and vista? I would hate to be as frustrated as I am with Chronicles with any new games, that may just finish me off . Good people of LCO I know at least one of you must have some pearls of wisdom or experience so please help a deeply frustrated woman before she becomes disillusioned again! Bondy

Ok people I am liking these suggestions. The down side is that they have not worked. I have just completed Last Revelation on this computer with the sidewinder, so I know that defiantly works here, I also have the up to date drivers. At this stage it would appear just to be a problem with Chronicles. The rest of you out there on the World Wide Web get those fingers tapping I need more, more, more! Bondy
