Well nothing is actually perfect, but in your opinion are there games that are so damn good?

I love all TRs, but I've always considered TR2 to be perfect (and it was my first tr to play too). Other games I think have reached that perfect level for me are: Prince of Persia: SoT, Broken Sword 1, Longest Journey.

So let's hear it, any perfect games on your list?

A game that comes to mind for me is the Legend of Zelda (the very first one on the NES)....that got me into the whole adventure/RPG genre. Also Super Mario Brothers on NES, that was always a fun game to play.

When I finally got a Playstation, that's when I first played any Final Fantasy games and Final Fantasy 7 was the first one. To this day I think it is the best one out of the entire series, I still go back to play the final battle against Sepiroth just for fun.

I also have every TR game for the playstation and I have Angel of Darkness and Legend for the PS2.....and I'll never EVER give those games up.

i loved TR Legend, the graphics looked very good, and the controls imo were great.

but one of the games that are perfect i think (both in graphics, story and controlls) are Alias, M:I operation surma, GTA sanandreas and ScarFace.

This is going to sound silly but the first 3 Spyro games (on the PS1) were The Best! Dino Crisis 2 was amazing, really fun. Resident Evil: Code Veronica was cool I really liked it along with RE4 aswell. Silent Hill: The Room I also liked alot. Donkey Kong Country! You just gotta love thoose DK games. Crash Bandicoot: Warped and Crash Bash (PS1) I always played with my lil'Cousins alot of fun. Tekken Series I love! Soul Calibur 3 was the best from the first 2 IMO. Devil May Cry 2, Xtreme Beach Volley Ball (the first DOAX for the Xbox) I'm still hooked on. Viva Piñata along with Gears Of War (X360) are my two favorite on that system. From the TR Games I tought TR1, TR: The Last Revelation, TR: The Angel Of Darkness were the best ones. My boyfriend dowloaded a trial of Joust from his X360 and it's old-school, very fun along with Dig-Dug and Castlevania. I also agrre with Blade on the Super Mario Brothers. I'm addicted to the Diner Dash Series (PC) and now there is going to be one for the PSP which I'm very looking forward to getting that. I'm also addicted to Cake Mania and Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst (PC). Tenchu is my favorite Ninja games, they always have a cool story. (I know there is more but theese are the ones I can remember at the moment).

I think the games I mentioned were Perfect (or close to being perfect). Obviously I can't forget to mention God Of War (1&2) which are wicked cool.

Well I bought TR1 and 2 and the same time quite a while after they had been released for a bargain price. For some reason which I can't now remember I played TR2 first and it's still my favourite game of all time.

Leaving aside the TR games a very near perfect game for me is ICO which I thought was beautiful. And of course Shadow of the Colossus.

Then there's JetSetRadioFuture.

And I loved Galleon (Toby Gard game) which was fabulous.

Other real favourites include Beyond Good & Evil, Ocarina of Time, Paper Mario Thousand Year Door, Dragon Quest VIII, Oblivion, the Thief series, Mafia, the Getaway (only the first one), Primal, Ratchet & Clank, Prince of Persia Sands of Time and the two subsequent games. These games I come back to time and again and love them. I often imagine playing them.

There are probably more but I can't think of them. Oh yes Project Gotham 2 (a perfect racing game in beautiful surroundings).

Okay lets see... Okay I will start with my saying, "A perfect game has good cheats!"

So i will expand... Lets see...

Some of my favs/perfections: Tomb Raider Legend: Although it was a bit short i was happy about the wardrobe selection, and her wicked loose hair.... Altho the hair could be improved when it is loose... I mean make it more flowy instead of cardboard...

Anyways another good game is Dead or Alive XBV... Its fun and you can put Kasumi's and Lei Fang's hair loose.... Yes I am obsessed with loose hair... Hehehehe... Tekken 5 is pretty cool... Christie is a fun character to fight as....

Resident Evil Outbreaks are fun... Many ppl disagree but i think they are fun and can be very very funny...

Sims 2 is funny too on the PS2... Little things can be so amusing...

And my all time favourite PS1 game is Evil Zone... It is easy and fun... Erel is my fav character... Her hair is in a pony but when her health gets so low her hair flies out of her pony and becomes loose... Would be nice if games did that now a days....

Oh Parasite Eve the first one is fun... Spooky and the beginning reminds me of the movie Carrie which scares the crap out of me... I am scared... LOL ok I am done hehehehehehehehe!

Oh, cool! Never saw this thread. I need to snoop around LCO's topics more Well, perfect games, huh? Well, I really enjoyed The Sims and The Sims 2 games. It's a hilarious game to play sometimes, but you can write stories on both of 'em and make movies with The Sims 2 so I though that was an awesome idea. I also like that they have a strange language and I've memorized it from playing so much. Crazy sh_! Another awesome game is GTA. I mean, there are some great cheats, but I die so easily. Still, it's all good fun or bad... and TR! I couldn't forget TR. The plots, the cut scenes, the graphic improvement over the years, and Lara Croft herself. You don't need cheats for this game; Lara's all I need LOL! Silent Hill 3 was kick-__, too. Creepy Great graphic quality for every level to get you creeped out and awesome monsters Yep, there are some really great games out there

I loved TR2, and in its day it was far supirior to anything else! (I get the feeling most others feel that way too). Games have advanced alot over the years though, and in most cases the sequals are better than what they are taking over from. The GTA series is a good example of this. I think San Andreas is as close to perfect that any game has come at the moment, however different games focus on different subjects, so that's debatable I guess, lol.

For perfect games.. games that are ace to play and couldn't possibly be improved.. I'd say

Can't think of any others off the top of me head.. I think that Half Life 1 is close but the last 3 levels are gash

TRL is awesome,so is TR6!!

I think the two best games I've ever played are TR1 and Final Fantasy VII. TR pretty much got me started in video games, but FF7 had THE most amazing storyline EVER.

1. Tomb Raider (the full series, but if I had to pick one I'd say TRA)

2. Kingdom Hearts (the only game that could truly be described as "magical", I just loved the characters, and that helped me to get really into this one)

3. God of War (an amazing game that has many fans all over going crazy with it's graphics, storyline, and gameplay, I love the puzzles most!)

4. Final Fantasy X and X-2 (once again, I loved the characters and I didn't want X to end, so I was happy to have X-2, which was awesome and I've obsessed over it for quite some time. I replayed it 4 times and finally got 100% completion, yet never got to see the perfect ending... I had to watch it on youtube.

5. 24: The Game (not sure why, maybe it's my obsessive, insatiable love of the TV show, but 24 was one of the best games I have ever played.)

6. Guitar Hero 2 (Simply awesome, that game literally rocks!!)

7. BloodRayne 2 (There's just something about the blood and gore and intense violence in this game that just makes in perfect in my eyes. Lol I just love it, what can I say?)

8. Spider-Man 2 (I'm a pretty big spidey fan, and I just love the free roam of New York City!)

9. Enter the Matrix (I was obsessed with this game for awhile too. It was just too good, with all the moves from the films at my disposal... truly awesome!)

10. 007: NightFire (Mainly just for the awesome multi-player which I still play to this day, even though it's an older game.

Ok, so you can see I'm a bit obsessive, I'm a real video game nerd.

I hope a list of 10 perfect games isn't too much, but they really are the best!! Lol

24 is awesome. I need to finish playing that. Oh, and don't forget SPidey 3. That was very fun. But let's not forget one of my personal faves... Superman Returns!

Oh yeah Superman Returns! I don't think I've played that since New Years! Doesn't seem like that long ago though...

And Spidey 3 was awesome, but I've experience Spidey 2 more and it's one of my faves.

Spider-Man 2 for the PS2: Sure the graphics were--meh--and the storyline was kind of on the sparse side, but the game itself was radically different than its predecessors. If nothing else, hours and hours and hours could be gleefully thrown away simply swinging around.

Freedom Fighters: A war game that isn't a re-hash of some major world war or whatever else. Its premise is simple--what if the Soviets "won" the Cold War and invaded the United States? The mechanics were simple enough to learn, but complex enough in their execution. You could figure out how to do things in under five minutes, then give semi-specific orders to people under your command without trying to proverbially jiggle the code just right to get your people to do what you want them to do. The best part, though, I thought--the enemies weren't idiots, nor were they god-like. Anywhere you could get to, they could too--and would, if given the chance. However, the reverse is true. So if there's a sniper picking you off, there must be a way up to his little nest. It also didn't take a hojillion bullets to take down an enemy grunt. They had just as much resistance as you do--which is to say, very little, since it's a bloody gun and all. Armor does make a difference, of course, but even with the most heavily-armored enemies, you didn't need to sit on the trigger for fifteen minutes just to take them down. Not bad for a game nearly four years old.

NOLF. A perfect game. Beautifully made, hilarious, challenging, a female lead character, great I mean great music. What more could you want? NOLF 2. Brilliant too!

Somebody should make NOLF 3. It's just obvious!

Freedom Fighters was darn good, it took us forever to find it in a store and when we did, we bought it on the spot. I love it.

And NOLF was another one I obsessed over for awhile. I love basically everything about it, and it was hilarious. I STILL can't find out how to download the main theme song though and if anyone knows PLEASE tell me, because I would love you forever!! I've been looking all over the place.

NOLF 2 was great but I still love the first game best. I don't know about downloading the music but you can download a screensaver from the official website which has the music on it. There is a download for the music but I couldn't access it.

I'm sorry, but I don't like games with super-high ammounts of violence and suggestive themes. I love the old, clean stuff, and I could honestly care less about how other people feel about that.
