That picture of her dive-bombing off the waterfall is good too; one of the first things I did was to make her go over it.

I played. Do not like it on the PC. The keyboard is too hard. Sometime I missed the second cog, and went straight to the Lost Valley, lol.

I like this new move where Lara stands on top of a pole. Lara has an impressive sense of balance.

If you are where I think you are, you have to swing and then jump to another bar, and then jump to another ladder (once the mechanism to make the bars rotate has been activated, of course).

The music is fantastic! Very atmospheric!

Just to let you guys know, after you drop off the ledge and you see a cutscene where the bridge falls down and creates a horizontal pole, do NOT go into the cave and miss the pole. If so, you miss about half of the demo...plus the shotgun...which you'll have to find yourself

I just got so bored my eyes are now hurting i have a new graphic card thats quite good but it still jerky and my laptop is roasting hot cause the graphic driver is working so much.

I got to the bit where i got the second cog and went back to the machine and went to the second cog also has anyone got the shotgun from the hole in the wall i got it then i feel trying to get out again?

Yeah, the music's great. I love the atmosphere in the level. I waaaaaay prefer Lara being on her own in the game, with just the background noise and music to accompany her. No inane chatter from those annoying assistants of hers that drove me nuts during Legend

I haven't found the shotgun yet, but I did find one secret.

Lara seems to have a bit of a problem with looking down. The wolves are below you! Shoot at them, woman!

Here's a couple more screenshots. I think I've completely devoured the demo now lol. I have a feeling I've found everything. By the end of the demo you should have 4 large medipacks and 5 small. Anyhow, can anyone else find the Artefact?

just got the demo, have to say im not that impressed. it didnt help that the sounds broke on my pc, and it keeps going jittery and slowing down. i thought the camera was realy crap i could barely ever see where im ment to go i got to the top of the waterfall and gave up because all i could see was her head after doing jumps and couldnt see where to jump next. also didnt like the combat but i dnt know many controls yet i couldnt figure out how to walk or where i can change controls so i can actually play it. will give it another shot perhaps when the sound comes on (it works when it wants to i dnt kno why)

Im stuck i've found two cogs and cant find the underwater hole which i just opened help thanks

Lovin' it so far! I usualy play with keyboard and mouse but I plugged in my xbox 360 controller this time and it's pretty decent to play with! although I think I prefer shooting people with the mouse.

Random thoughts:

- I'm getting the impression that knowing how the levels worked in TR1 is actualy more of a hinderance than a help..

- Her scream is probably more reaslistic but i prefer the original one

- The secret noise is ace

i got the sound working, but im still not that impressed so many times i press jump n nuffin happens its so hard to make precise jumps. and now im stuck i put the second cog in and went in the underwater cave it was just a secret. i got up to where you put the third cog in but it doesnt seem to lead anywhere else. where do i go people??

i just finished the demo i was impressed but those pole jumps are hard and so is shooting most of the time nothing happens and its pretty much impossible to dodge attacks the camera was in the way most of the time. but everything else WOW all this will be easier on the PS2

I've had a quick go but knew I wouldn't have time to really get into it until tomorrow. One thing I have find I don't know how to do is drop. I jump and grab a ledge or pole and have to jump off as I can't work out how to just let go. Help! What haven't I tried? Thanks

i dnt know what block you mean. at the second cog you can shoot the bridge and grapple, theres a block with like gold stuff shinin round it but i didnt know wot to do or if it even did anything.

I have to agree with some other people, the PC version is almost unforgivably bad it seems.

*Lara seemed to jump in a random direction when I told her to simply jump forward (angled jumps are almost impossible)

*Lara doesn't seem to be able to aim down (as previously mentioned)

*The controls are relative to the camera position (which is bad when the camera seems to change position almost constantly)

*The "relative-to-the-camera" moving makes swimming down twisty passages nearly impossible

*The combat is just horrible. Controls, camera, everything.

All things considered, I still think I'll love it on the PS2.

My gripes have more to do with the fact that I never played Legend on PC so am unfamiliar with it's wacky controls. My brother seemed to do quite fine with the PS2 controls in Legend, though.
