Lara has a mind of her own: I want her to go or jump this way, she moves that a way and you have to constantly use the mouse to change the camera angle until you get it right.

I am going to get the PS 2 Version and dig up my PS 2 that's been boxed up and put away in the attic for 3 years now.

just finished it, the way was right in front of me hate it when that happens. hated the combat couldnt see nothing and didnt know how to do them slow mo dodge things the camera is just rubbish and itl prob be the same on ps2 i will get the game eventually but i dnt really like it im not bothered about it anymore

I played Legend on the same PC with no controller; just the KB and Mouse and it was easier for me than this TR A!!

I played the Legend demo on PC and it seemed good as for the camera...but I bought it on PS2...this demo I can't stand because my comp needs serious upgrading...I discovered the mouse buttons don't work with this demo either....

its really made me wanna play legend now so thats wot im gonna do lol

i had the legend demo on pc and it was same as the ps2 version seemed fine, but this ones all over the place itl b the same on ps2 as reveiws have said the cameras rubbish and effects the combat. i just hope at least the jumping will be easier on console

its kinda bad but not terrible i have played it now twice and am getting used to the movement but the combat needs serious practise hopefully that will be fixed in croft manor also when on top of the poles steering lara is hard its like you know she will just miss and hit the floor so you tap it left to align and she flies to the left.

Well I am a little behind. I overslept,had to rush to get to work, and went to my folks place this morning after I got off. I am just getting online again and am downloading the demo at this moment,25 min.s to go. I have other things to do today so probably won't get to play it till later.I'll let you know what I think when I get there.

I don't have an issue with the controls at all. Are you using the W,S,A,D keys, because the up, left, right and down ones make it a nightmare? At first the combat seemed tricky but I'm used to it now and TR never really was about combat so I'm not expecting it to be outstanding.

The other thing is...it's a demo, it's not gonna be representative of the final product. This demo isn't of a game that's ready now, they probably made the demo about 4 + weeks ago and have tweaked the bugs you're experiencing now.

Little floozy at times but it was good for a first speed attempt. I can make a video walkthrough of the demo if someone wants it - every hidden area and everything (granted I remember all the hidden areas, LoL).

just uninstalled that piece of crap now, it didnt even work proply all jittery and was so short, then it kept feezing and a while ago really messed up the pc, really really unimpressed with that...

Anyway, not a bad demo --- liked it a lot. I used my gamepad; so much easier for me than using the mouse/keyboard. I'm eagerly looking forward to the game's release.

probly but i dnt use it for games so no point. everyones been saying its slowing down and jittery though, and it can take like 5 minutes to complete im not gonna play it again so delelted it. still want the full game hope its better on ps2

Yes you're right. The only problems I am having is because I'm not a PC player. I don't know how many times I died just going up the first lader tryin to make it across. LOL. When the real game comes out on PS2, I'll like it a lot more.

My PC meets the recommended specs and the framerates still dropped in one area of the demo. However, on my brother's PC, it ran beautifully; he had all display options on high --- that owing to the fact that he has 2 gigs of RAM, a dual core cpu and Nvidia's flagship vidcard to boot. Needless to say, I have to upgrade in the near future.

If you shut off the three visual effects it plays good and smooth...just wish you could turn up the mouse sensitivity....

You can; go into controls and the mouse sensitivity is currently set to 10. I turned off the 3 visual effects too, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference to the game visually!

Miss Croft, I won't ask how you got the game 7 days ahead of everyone else lol.
