New The Bourne Legacy trailer!!!

The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy. The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.

For The Bourne Legacy, Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.

Wow...Retribution just keeps looking better and better! Looks like Umbrella does capture Alice. I can't wait!

How are they able to bring back Rain? Didn't she die at the end of Resident Evil? (unless she's in a flashback scene)

Carlos Olivera, Rain Ocampo and James "One" Shade are returning characters, even though they all died. James Shade (Colin Salmon) was the leader of the mercenaries who entered the Hive in the original film, he died in the laser corridor that lead to the Red Queen, and Rain died near the end. Carlos died near the end of Extinction. I'm not sure how they're working everything together yet, I've heard rumours about them being cloned by Umbrella, and other rumours about flashbacks. Going by this latest trailer though, it looks like Jill is going to capture Alice at the start of the film (there's going to be a big fight scene between the two) and Umbrella will imprint memories of a life she hasn't lived (where she's married to Carlos), but Alice being Alice will "remember everything". Perhaps that's how the others will come into it. I'd like to know if she gets her abilities back.

Well, I am glad they are bringing back Rain and Jill Valentine.

Resident Evil is actually the first film I'd ever saw Michelle Rodriguez in.

Haha! First film I saw with her in it was the Fast and the Furious. Now when I see Michelle in a film my first thought is "her character is going to die", lol.

I'm happy to see Jill Valentine back as well, I'm hoping they show what happened to her after she and Carlos rescued Alice in Apocalypse, nobody ever mentioned her after that. I did hear that she's going to be the main antagonist in this instalment -- she best get that control device off quick!

Having a closer look at the trailer, where Alice and Ada are standing with the little girl, it labels them, the girl has clone written on her at 00:57 seconds.

EDIT: Perhaps their fight is closer near the end?

And notice Jill's eyes have the umbrella logo.

Rain is sitting on the swing, Alice and Ada at the front door with the clone child, Jill, Carlos and James standing together.

Yeah Michelle Rodriguez has been in some good movies. I remember seeing her in the movie S.W.A.T, in a couple of the Fast and Furious movies, Resident Evil and she was also in Avatar.

I'm thinking I'll see this latest Resident Evil movie in 3-D

I remember when she was on Lost as well.

I took a look at the second half of the trailer, I've only just noticed, but when Alice tells Wesker she's going to kill him, her pupils dilate - guess she does have her mojo back.

No Boo?

We waited 12 years for a sequel and instead they come up with a prequel with no Boo?

I've a feeling this is going to sucks!!

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn't always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn't stand each other. "Monsters University" unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.

Boo was the reason the first one was great!

They could had made a sequel and kept Boo at the same age.

Some people said a sequel would not have worked because after 12 years, Boo will be a teenager.

Where does it say that the sequel had to be set 12 years later?

It could had been set 1 year after the original and Boo will still be a toddler.

Remember the ending of the first one where Sulley gets reunited with Boo at the end, 1 month after the events of the movie?

They could had picked it up from there with a sequel instead of a prequel!!

Pixar losing it.

The last great Pixar film was Ratatouille.

Cars 2 was blah!

The Brave trailer did not make me want to run to the theater.

Wall-E and Up were so and so.

Toy Story 3 I didn't even watch in Theaters; saw it on DVD and was not impressed.

Now this!

I think they are cranking them out too fast and sacrificing quality for quantity.

Furthermore, Ratatouille came out in 2007 which was right after Disney bought out Pixar.

So Disney is screwing up Pixar's quality!

C'mon Pixar! I could come up with a better idea than that!

Finally someone agrees with me.

I've been on IMDB and other boards saying the same thing I said here about this and people just shot me down!

Movie-goers are so gullible nowadays;

as long as it's a new movie, they don't care what they are getting.

Even if it's trash or reboot or remake or junk.

For $7.50 to $16, I want to get my money worth!!

I know what you mean, I won't go and see a film unless I know I'm sure that I'll like it and not regret spending good money to see it. I'm actually finding a good film to be rare these days, I'm only planning on seeing Ted and Resident Evil: Retribution at the moment.

There are only 3 films I will pay first run price to see the rest of this year:

The Hobbit

the rest I can wait for them to get to the $1.25 theater and go on 75 cents all day Tuesday

or

for the DVD release which won't cost me a dime to rent.

I watched my Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 DVDs this week.

So at the end of 2, Alice died in the helicopter crash and what they do?

Revive her using the T-Virus or cloned her?

Also, why make Alice into an ultimate weapon between the end of RE1 and beginning of RE2?

They revived her, the T-Virus was already in her body, so I'm assuming she wasn't completely dead and it started to bring her back, since she's been "the only human to bond with the virus", Umbrella just helped her along and tried to take her memory away. Later on Umbrella tried to clone her, but they could never recreate her perfectly.

I think they made her a weapon as an experiment, I guess to test out what they'd "achieved" with infecting her, then they wanted to control her but couldn't.

Just watched Resident Evil Extinction and Resident Evil Afterlife.

So now I have re-watched all the Resident Evil films and I am ready for the new one.

I want to say Extinction is the weakest of the entire series.

Saw this commercial on NBC, new series coming in the fall. Looks really interesting and its about something that really could happen on this planet, take a look at the video:

Okay so I know this will be small in comparison, but I cannot wait for this movie to come out:

I saw The Dark Knight Rises last night. It was good, but not great. There were a few too many characters, so everything felt rushed. Bane and Catwoman were awesome, I just wish there was more of them. Marion Cotillard's character really pissed me off, and ruined it for me. I'd give the movie an 8/10.

That's how I felt about The Dark Knight too.

Too many characters just come and go and I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on!

I saw it too and I liked it very much. Yeah a lot squeezed into the few hours but I liked the twists and the ending.
