Every Underworld movie so far has been good so we'll see how this one stands up!

Okay, apparently Michael is in Underworld: Awakening, but not played by Scott Speedman, and I've also heard that he won't be in his human form.

I just seen Underworld: Awakening in 3D. It was a good movie, but i thought it to be too short. Plenty of action throughout there's gonna be another sequel for sure.

Wooohoooo! Resident Evil!!! I downloaded the trailer from the PSN Store and watched it 3D. Looks fantastic!

I'm going to see Underworld Awakening in 3D later, I hope it's worth the money.

They refused to sell a ticket to my sister because she's a few days off of the legal age to see the movie, but more importantly, they refused me to buy her the ticket even though I told them that I am her guardian! I am a guardian to all of my siblings! They told me she had to have a parent or guardian present, then refuse me? The manager came out saying "it's not worth loosing his job over" blah blah! I was so very angry about it all. Should I call their head office and complain?

Yeah i would say something to their corporate office. I think you should be given free passes for the movie that you wanted to see. I hope you did call them though.

I couldn't find a phone number, so I emailed them and got a reply soon after, and it said that if I am her guardian, then the cinema is at fault, but to prove it I'd need to show legal documents containing the title of guardian for me. What on Earth? I don't have any papers, and since when did it become so hard to get in to see a movie! I was getting into 15+ rated films when I was thirteen years old! Silly corrupted ratings systems!

She wants to go tomorrow, I've told her to wait outside the cinema doors while I go buy the tickets, and if they do happen to remember me, I'll say it's her birthday today and the movie is a part of a present or something.

I can say that as far as language goes in Underworld: Awakening its not that bad. A few choice words here and there. Its really the amount of violence shown that got it the R rating.

We don't really worry about the content of movies, and if the younger ones know they're not allowed to watch it then they don't ask to -- not that they aren't near old enough to know what's happening anyway, lol. I just hope the movie ratings system doesn't end up like our games rating system -- corrupt, broken, and based on the choices of about seven people who don't understand the progress of entertainment and the mature audience that it's aimed at, thus banning it.

I still haven't been to see it...maybe tomorrow we'll go, lol.

Morph, you know how often I see kids in Rated R movies that you have to be 17 to get in or accompanied by a Parent or Guardian?

I would make a federal case out of it!!

Ask them if they ask parents to show document written proof they are the parents of the children they are buying movie tickets to restricted movies?

Do they also ask the parents to provide a paternity test result?

They are most likely going to say no; then ask them why do they ask guardians to do so.

You're so right James! It's a company called Village Cinemas.

I've never seen an R18+ rated film being played in a cinema here, but what's usually rated R in the U.S. is almost always rated as MA15+ here. Like Underworld Awakening is.

I sent them an email saying pretty much the same thing I said in here.

Do they ask parents who buy tickets to MA 15 films to provide Birth Certificates and Paternity Test results proving they are the parents of those children?

Furthermore, do they ask other customers who say they are legal guardians for the same written legal documents they asked you?

I told them I bet they don't, the only reason they asked you is because you look young.

But what business is it for them to decide that?

When a customer said they are legal guardian to a child and they want to purchase a movie ticket, that's the end of that.

They should had sold you a ticket without any trouble.

Additionally, when you emailed their corporate office, they were rude about it.

I told them to apologize to you in writing and also to invite you and your sisters back, at their expense, by providing you free admission passes and gift certificates to the concession, so you and your sisters can go to any movie of your choice;

including MA15 movies without any trouble and question.
