How can they remake one of my most beloved movies from the 80s?

this is a Sacrilege!!

Just like they went and did Star Trek with younger versions of Kirk, Mccoy, Spock and Uhura. Hollywood is running out of ideas, so they look at the past and try making something better and it doesn't always work. There are movies that shouldn't be modernized and this is one of them.

All I can say is: We shall see. I'm reserving judgement on this until I actually see the movie. I however didn't like the background music in the trailer; too modern for my taste for a film such as this, ie. mythological and whatnot.

On the subject on the Star Trek re-boot, that was a great movie and I can't wait for its release on Blu-ray on Nov 17/09.

Mind you, what a great Greek hero is doing with a buzz-saw haircut is anyone's guess. He should hair like Harry Hamlin in the original, let alone a full beard...

Honestly 2012?

I was so completely bored throughout that movie; I wanted to walk out.

It was so slow getting started that when the world finally started to end I no longer cared.

The effects were pretty good I guess, but I wasn't too impressed.

I just got back from seeing Avatar and all I can say is WOW....its stunning just watching it, and I saw it in its regular format. I may go back and see it in 3-D, the movie is great all the way around. James Cameron is the man when it comes to movies, two of his movies hold the top spots all time in box office earnings. I truly hope there is a sequel.

I am going to go see Legion next week. Hopefully it is as good as the previews made it out to be. I'll let you know if it's any good or if you have already seen it, let me know if it is worth going to go see.
