Just beat 1. I'm half way through 2. I can see a lot of similarities with Tomb Raider. The moves, and the gods.

Just started this game and part 2 and can't stop. Love itttttt!

Most of the problems you see with "Vista" is not actually the OS's fault, it's the driver vendors fault for making bad drivers or no drivers at all. Running Vista Ultimate 64 bit. Smooth and hell of a lot faster than XP on many different levels. The only thing is 64 bit, not many drivers or software works now. Luckily all my hardware supports 64 bit and the software I use, I have no problems. SP1 is in beta testing and should be released maybe the end of this year or next.

Personally I wouldn't mind it being a T rated game with the borderline of M rated. I mean they could add some blood to the damn game for crying out loud. I don't mean when you shoot someone blood splatters or heads get blew off (Max Payne, etc). That would make it a M rated game and Tomb Raider is not about gore. But at least a little blood to make it realistic, I mean you're going to get hurt raiding tombs. But if they want to make it gory, that wouldn't bother me, as I love gore (in games).

Well you know Wikipedia can't always be trusted with their editors but it says for platforms: PC, Playstation 2, Xbox 360, Wii Personally I hope it's on PS2 (or at least have a PS3 and PS2 version) because I haven't gotten to PS3 yet and probably won't for some time. $$ But I think the graphics can look good on the PS2. I mean look at God Of War, awesome FMV and graphics. I wish they would include FMV back in the Tomb Raider games. EDIT: If anyone receives the XBOX World magazine, they claim to have the exclusive scoop on the upcoming title. The magazine said that more info of the game will be revealed in September. It's September..... EDIT 2: Like I said Wikipedia can't be trusted with upcoming things. It'll be on the PS3 for sure though.

They are illegal because the use verdors' codecs without there permission.. but who cares? LOL

Yeah but Real Alternative and QuickTime Alternative are illegal. I personally haven't had any problem with this version, I don't use it as my default player. I use it for downloading videos, seems easier than Video Downloader.

The new Real Player 11 beta, is actually pretty good. It lets you download videos from webpages (YouTube, etc). It has low memory usage and of course they don't install spyware anymore.

Since they are "rebooting" the franchise, they can do whatever they want. In reality, Tomb Raider 2-6 has not ever happen. TR:A, Legend and it's sequel is now the current "storyline", if you get what I mean. They have chosen to keep those characters (Larson, Pierre, Natla, etc), I doubt we see characters from TR2-6, like Von Croy. But we don't know that for sure.

Lol, I'm sorry but AOD holds that title in the Tomb Raider series, next to that would be Chronicles.

I did find these interesting: Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness Hint: Moves List A lot of Lara's old moves have faithfully made the transition to Angel of Darkness: Handstand - When Lara is hanging from a ledge, press and hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 to make her perform a handstand. Somersault - While facing a ledge, press TRIANGLE then UP (on the Analog Joystick). Backflip - Walk backwards up to a ledge then hold L1 + X while pressing AWAY (on the Analog Joystick). Swan Dive (a.k.a., Neckbreaker) - Hold L1 + UP (on the Analog Joystick) and press CIRCLE. Note Lara dives straight down after a little bit of forward motion, and it makes her more vulnerable to "cracking". 180° Turn & Crawl - Hold L2 to keep Lara on all fours; SQUARE makes her head and butt exchange positions while swimming I did the Somersault and it killed Lara lol. I guess it broke her neck, being the thing I somersaulted off of was to low.

My thoughts: Of course the graphics are amazing, as with Legend. The combat irritated me, especially when involving multiple enemies. I like how they implanted “rag doll” effects for when you kill an animal, and they “roll” across the ground. In Legend, they just stood there and made a noise, then fell. The controls sometime irritated me, when I wanted her to jump or move left, she could go right or any which way she wanted too. The back jump is sometimes hard to do. The story is a lot better than the original. In the original, (this is in the commentary), they couldn’t really put a “whole story” in the game, since they had limited space. The remake fixes that, IMO. Lara has emotion (on her face), in TR1, that was impossible, except in the FMV’s. They were also able to add more “bits” to the story to make better sense (and to keep it synch with Legend). Examples: (SPOILERS) Lara already knows Pierre (in TR1 she didn’t). She already knows about St. Francis Folly, apparently from her father’s notebooks. She already knows about the Scion, again apparently from her father’s notebooks. The made the “entrance” to Natla Technologies Office more “realistic”. In TR1, where would she have gotten the blow torch?? Instead of raiding her office, she just looks at Natla’s video logs. A lot better, IMO. More “Screen time” for the rulers Qualopec and Tihocan. You get a better idea of why Natla is expelled from their sacred order and condemned. Natla wants Lara to join the Seventh Age and be the 3rd ruler. In TR1 there was no such thing mentioned. Natla just wanted her dead after she did her “job”. The emotion when she killed Larson. TR1 – again she had no emotion about that. Lara can’t hold her breath as long as in TR1. She can hold her breath as long as a average person could in TRA. Lara’s jumps are shorter, more like a average person could jump, then in TR1 (and most of the other ones too. Kold and The Kid as they are now named in TRA have more screen time. They have also taken down the underground skate park, which was quite odd – in TRA. To me this is like a prequel to Legend. TRA – Legend – Legend II. Seems like they are starting over with the franchise.

I have been playing around with AOD (on PS2) for a couple of days, since I'm done with Anniversary. I have made a list of why I hate the game. Reasons I hate AOD: The game slows down in certain areas. Some guns (Dart SS, K2 Impactor for example) has no sound while shooting. The controls are wack. Takes too many shots to kill a human. NO DUAL PISTOLS BUG: The scream that last forever. How she walks up stairs. The “upgrade” system is stupid. The Cleaner.. Most of all I hate that they rushed the game. It had good potienal, and I am curious has what the next 2 installments would had been like.. but we’ll never know.. I did play Boaz for the first time, and I beat her without dying. I bet I can't do that again. Lol. Does anyone know what are ALL the guns in AOD are? Please post why you hated or liked AOD.

Because it costs more than my bills do. $500 - I'm sorry. However, if it did do all those things like in that video, I may consider it. Also, you can only get it with AT&T (formerly Cingular) which SUCKS in my area.
