If people starts to lose interest in the series and they lose viewers for Season 3, which I presume won't be until almost a year from now, Disney and Lucasfilm only have themselves to blame. Some of these movies that cost $250-350 million earn 700 million or 1 billion at the cinema. They can't earn that much streaming it. Sequels are approved or rejected based on whether the prequels made money or not. I want to know how they will make a profit on those films from streaming. I am sure HBO Max is not paying Warner Bros a $300 million license fee to stream those big budget theatrical movies on their streaming channel.
