from what i've seen, I think there may be giant spiders too - eeeew! have to say the trailers look fantastic - hope the gameplay's not too difficult.

I couldn't agree more - this is the reason I haven't yet finished Anniversary - I got a bit sick of the 'sameness'. In earlier TR games, we expected the unexpected and we got that, a few 'jump out of your seat' moments that simply haven't been recreated in the later games. I found a lot of areas to be very similar with the same obstacles to overcome in each area - It just needs to be a bit more varied and not ledge-leaping continually. I'll probably buy the new game and hope I'll be impressed.

On a different note, I just watched 10 things I hate about you for the first time on Sky (the girls have been telling me to watch it for ages) and I loved the film but just felt really, really sad watching it as Heath was just so cute, young and lovely and it just made me think what a waste of a talent.

flippin eck! my head's hurting after reading through this thread! It is frustrating when new consoles come out all the time (especially for us parents!!) but everything changes all the time, tis the same with mobile phones etc - you just have to decide what's right for you and what you want from your games console. For me personally, I have always played TR on PS and I have a PS2 (old chunky version) so I'm really glad they're releasing for the ps2 and I will buy it and it will take me longer than anyone on this forum to complete (still haven't finished Anniversary) but that'll do for me. oh, I also still have a PS1 and a gameboy colour - hehe, retro or what!

We saw the Dark Knight last night - really enjoyed it - Heath Ledger suitably sinister. However, wasn't that impressed with Christian Bale as Batman - thought he tried a little too hard and didn't like the way his voice changed when he donned the suit, but overall a good performance!

Hi guys! ok, here's my problem, hubby only ever goes on youtube and suddenly gets the message when trying to play a video, sorry, you have javascript turned off (which i dont) or you need to download the latest flash player - I follow the link to download and nothing happens - so, i google 'why can't i download flash player' and it gives me a link for an uninstller for old versions of the flash player, I uninstall, and try to re-install - still nothing, wont download - so I look for more help, someone suggests downloading firefox as downloads are easier - I have downloaded in the past and then gone back to IE, but I try downloading firefox, close all programs, try the uninstaller again (as suggested) then re-install the flash player, still nothing, so, we can't watch anything on youtube and I can't fathom out what to do - sorry for the long-winded post, but I try to give you guys the full story - btw, my pc is an old desktop but usually works fine - on Windows XP - hope you can help. thanks Angie

I totally agree Shrensh! Well said! calls from some companies, especially mobile phone companies etc. can be very annoying etc. I just calmly tell them i'm busy at the moment or not interested - politely - it doesn't hurt to be civil. I have to defend this profession at the moment as Hannah is currently working for a tele-marketing company part-time to fund her way through college - she doesn't get paid well and has to deal with some extremely rude and arrogant people so please bear in mind that these people are just doing their job and are not going out of their way to hassle you. Much obliged x

not really a rant as such, but I'm catching up on posts in the forum whilst avoiding having to run my Tax Year End - because I hate it!! I just know that my figures won't reconcile and I'll be hours on end trying to find a pathetic sum of money just to please HM Revenue!!! I tried to make things easier on myself this year by registering to submit my returns online - they sent me a PIN No. and a PIN verification number and a password, and hey, whaddya know, they don't bloody work - so I'll have to fill in P14's by hand again - and, uh oh, i'm actually starting to rant now.........back to work then.

Went to see Be Kind - Rewind at the weekend. It's without doubt the worst movie i've seen in about 10 years. Both the girls love Jack Black and i'd seen the trailer and thought it might be quite funny - how wrong i was - not one laugh! I understand the moral behind the story and all that but just thought it was a total mishmash of trash. Danny Glover was appalling as the old man, Jack Black's character was simply irritating (he even did the same guitar moves as in School of Rock). the problem with Jack Black is that he thinks he's funnier than his audience and therefore doesn't try too hard - this was obvious in this film. Mos Def was probably the only character that didn't annoy me.

We arrived back from Florida on Sunday afternoon - all feeling pretty jetlagged atm - Had a great time, the villa was lovely - we particularly like Busch Gardens as we hadn't been before - went on Sheikra 3 times - must be mad! We had a bit of a freaky cold spell in the first week, the locals said it was very unusual but it was everywhere in the US apparently - it only lasted a couple of days then the temp. went back up into the high 70's - also went to Wet n Wild - has anyone been? I thought Disco H2O was fab and the Brain wash. My fave attraction still has to be the Superman ride at Universal Islands of Adventure, also the Hulk and Tower of Terror at MGM (sorry, now called Hollywood Studios). Also did some shopping at the Florida Mall, bought myself an Ipod and the girls got new converse shoes and clothes. All in all, had a great time, wish I was still there!

aaaw - sorry about your fall Shrensh! (although the wicked side of me is laughing a little at the thought of you falling down a hole!) You should really consider taking legal action here - seriously. Remember all those ads... have you been injured in a trip or fall etc.. well, yes, you bloody well have, so I say, go for compo, what have you got to lose - this is negligence and I think you'd have a very good case (keep the photographic evidence). hope you feel better very soon! x

Hi guys - hope someone can help me. I have a desktop pc running windows XP - Hannah has a laptop running Vista Home premium which shares a wireless internet connection with mine. (all ok so far) How can she print documents from her laptop using my printer? I have clicked on share printer etc. on my pc I have tried to add my printer (an ancient lexmark X1100) to Hannah's pc, but I don't have the installation disk, nor does her pc list my printer. I'm sure there is a simple way around this and I would appreciate any help thx guys

sounds good Ange! We went to Liverpool a couple of years ago for the day - there's some really nice shopping areas - also, try the Beatles Museum (if you're a fan) on the dock - There's also Chester Zoo not far away. have fun!

Went to see 1408 with John Cusack (that's starring John Cusack, I didn't actually go to the cinema with him, although I wouldn't have said no had he asked) This is one of my favorite Stephen King short stories and I wondered how they'd stretch it out enough for a movie. They did a great job, I absolutely loved it, it was creepy, well-acted and downright scarey in parts.
