  1. well im tryin not to boast lol but because im good at it and know the routes well. ive done her house, peru and greece now, unlocked unlimited 50 calibur, unlimited shotgun, all weapons (which you start wiht anyway!) and something else forgot what it is though might be infinte air
  2. i havent played aod through yet, i played it for an hour got up to sum train, thought it was rubbish but id play thru just to see the story and stuff
  3. i only just realised the best way to beat her yesterday, you have to run at her, do the adrenaline dodge at her instead of to a side sand lara jumps over her and you can shoot her in the back
  4. he just randomly stands in rooms they made it that way, he could be anywhere, he dnt do nothing theres no point in him and he dnt talk but they just had to put him in because they said hes been there for years
  5. i did that yesterday with 6 minutes to spare! and i dided once. man im good at time trials, although i couldnt do that bug thing in colisseum.
  6. although theyve made quite a few changes to fit in with legend, and if larsons in the next it will probobly be mentioned he was the first person she killed. and i think they left a few "seeds" that may affect the next games story, like natla needing 2 more people to rule with her im pretty sure if shes back amada will be one of those people.
  7. im guessing youre at the begining of st francis folly, if so you dnt need to run bak and forth just jump forwards taping square then jump off when you go all the way forwards
  8. thats my favourite level! it makes sense not to have shootouts just shooting away at their life when in reality one shot would do it, the way you kill larson is really good very emotional and really makes you realise youre killing someone. if you want shootouts play legend! they got rid of the skate park because they thought the idea of an underground skate park in atlantis is actually ridiculous which it is, plus after killing larson lara wouldnt suddenly have no worries about killing someone else straight away so i liked how they killed eachother instead. and if you read the bios for them it adds story to them that they dnt like eachother (kold and kid).
  9. i think she said something at the end of legend about giving excalibur to some museum to fix her fathers reputation or something. but i reckon the first part will be finding another stone thing to put the sword in, which will take you to avalon in search of her mother. amanda might follow and lara might bump into some old allies or adversaries... also i bet once ur in avalon you wont be able to talk to zip or allistor so itl be like anniversary again
  10. turn the first one on ur left twice, then the one in the far right twice aswell i think, or until the thing raises
  11. Well, i love the game, i think its definately better than legend and possibly the best since the original, but the original will always be my favourite because its original, and brings back memories. I liked that it was more about exploring and not so linear, also the way toby deloped the characters better and that you didnt have actual boss fights with them, the interactive with larson killing him was very emotional it literally made you realise you was killing someone, it doesnt with legends cloned henchmen. the grapple wall run was OK but she seems to have a mind of her own when jumping off, i found it hard to control. Some parts of the game werent very well laid out however, like the atlantis level climbing up to top was very hard, and the hallway traps in egypt could be very hard it kept missing poles and stuff, and i got the feeling it wasnt meant to be as hard as it was i just couldnt control her properly. I found the adrenaline dodge fairly easy to get the hang of but the combat overall could sometimes get confusing and dodgy camera angles, which needs to be worked on for the next game. The thing i really hate and want them to completely get rid of is the time trials, the whole thing is pointless anyway you do a few time trials and get cheats, which you dnt need after completing it, they should just have codes to put in if people are struggling. I dont like the feeling of being rushed through the game, and the fact that you can do a lot of levels ibn like 6 - 10 minutes isnt a good thing in my opinion, it makes you realise the game isnt as long or big as you think it is and takes away the exploring side. Plus with them timed traps and things that you cant control and just get through with sheer luck it makes the time trial pretty much impossible. I liked the boss fights, except the mutant at the end he was too easy, but natla was hard so kind of balanced out. I wouldve liked more inventive ways of beating them like they did with the centaurs though. I loved the extras like the commentries, the way they made them look like save crystals was a nice touch and the commentries themselves provided some good insight and answered a few questions i thought when playing through it. I would've liked a couple more costumes like the aod/ movie one maybe even larson. The classic lara is great though. I give the game 9 / 10
  12. isnt that the latest lara model karima or sumfin, she so much hotter than angelina... i hate anglina lol
  13. i done lost valley with more than a minute to spare yesterday, just dont mess up and fall down or something, plus you have to go the quick way to the top of the waterfall, by following the little passage where you pick up the first cog and jumping to grab a ledge by the waterfall, then make your way up to the top it saves a lot of time, i find the best way to do time tials is to go through the level, noting in ur mind places you dont need to go or things you dnt need to pick up, theres even sometimes switched you dnt need to pull that are just for if you fall down, all this saves time. and work out your route then do time trial and just dnt stop, that works really well for me. i done croft manor like that yesterday and had more than 3 minutes to spare! ive also done the first three levels il do quolopec later.
  14. ive got all the outfits now, not that many actually, and i thought you could get the aod/movie outfit?
  15. oh god i found that level so hard, im not even gonna attempt the time trial, i kept getting lost and some of the traps down the hallways are so hard to get through, mainly because it dont work perfectly and glitches on the last pole so you just miss it or you always lose balance on the last one and get squashed
  16. i done the time trial for mountain caves with one second to spare lol, it literally got to zero as the level ens screen came on and says 5 59 that was close, i couldnt do vilcabamba, i done lost valley but the first few attempts it froze when i put the second cog in, i just wore anniversary costume and took it a bit slower and it didnt freeze, not sure what was happening. on ps2 it seems to freeze if you go to fast without stoppin which is stupid, im not gonna bother with anymore time trials you only get cheats i think and i dnt need them so pointless
  17. well it wasnt in the first one actually, there were save crystals if you dies you ended up doing like half the level again
  18. hmm, i dunno what tips to give just try to be quick and ignore the other one
  19. i just turned around facing the other way then you dnt turn to stone, i fink the centaurs easy i dnt get how pple find it so hard, youe only gotta freeze em with the sheild then shoot em, on mine it always locks on to the one i want to shoot guess i just got a good version lol
  20. because it would have advanced graphics, bigger and more to the gameplay etc, it might not be possible to have it on ps2 if its not powerfull enough. but i hope it will be on it as i dont want a next gen console for a good while yet
  21. the ones after that one are easy. i spent a good 40 minutes earlier trying to get the relic in the fire room of palace midas, when i finally figured out how to get along the back wall and pull the switch, i went to the column and realised its on a timer, took me a anonether few goes to get it im sick of that room now dnt want to see it agen for a long time lol
  22. u have to shoot them while theyre frozen. i dnt see why people think its so hard i enjoyed the fight
  23. larson didnt die when you kicked him in the original, you had a shoot out with him at the end of egypt to get the scion and kill him there, jus before natlas other goons capture you. if natla or larson are in the follow up to legend i reckon itl b in avalon, maybe a type of ghost/ spirit or maybe theyre kind of created by her mind, not really them shes just imagining them or something. natla could have survived, she survived falling in lava and getting shot loads she can probly survive getting buried under rock, she couldve escaped before it all blew up and been hiding, up to her next plan or something. these are all jus ideas i had. i dont think they should bring back pierre i never really liked him, theres not much point bringing natla, they based amandas look on her and made amanda a bigger arch rival, it would be cool to see larson in avalon or something
  24. ive still never played through this one, never really wanted to, but its interesting to se what happens in this thread, keep it up!
