What's the key for sprint again? It's supposed to be / by default but it doesn't work. Any ideas?

I think TR3 automatically assumes everyone has an american keyboard, and because the / is in a different place on the Portuguese one, it probably gets confused. You can bind a new key to sprint in the user keys bit

I use 'S' for sprint, as it makes my life so much better...particularly because my fingers can't sprint and move left/right, while shooting when the sprint button is '/'. Anyway onto level 2, I'll edit this later!!

1 hr and 20 mins

(Can't remember the rest)

And I've had 6 saves so far..although that will dramatically increase in level 3 as I hate that level with avengence, although I do love the quad bike!

EDIT: For some reason there's a healthy white splodge in my pics, can anyone fix this? Thankies!!

Sorry, but only you can fix it. I suppose you were using Paint to paste your pics? You need to "pull" the corner of the white bit to your pic.

If you're not using Paint, then I don't know how to fix. (Except cutting the white out but the pics are really small that way! Sorry!

Also, in the game setup (the one you can access in the start menu), try increasing your resolution to 1024x786, if it's not already. From those pictures it looks like you're running it in 640x480 (once it's in 1024x786, your screenshots should be bigger, without the whiteness)

I'm running it in 1024X 720 or whatever that resolution is

If you don't have it already, you should download Irfanview and use that to paste screenshots into instead of using Paint. It's a very good programme, very easy to use.

I've not had much time in the last couple of days so I'm still in the temple ruins - just about to go for key 4. I'm really enjoying it though.

"Flying" doesnt work and I cant take pictures. *sigh*

Also, I'm at the point before you face Tony. I tried some methods to beat him and came across a good one (dont worry, I didn't save. I wouldn't leave you guys behind in India)

When you first slide into the room, have your guns drawn. When Lara first locks on, begin shooting. Wait until he starts his fire attacks and begin runnning around the room in a counter-clockwise motion while still holding the action button. Its a little wierd with the camera angle, but if you're like me, you can continue in the circle, not get hit, and keep at least one pistol on the guy. When he falls, keep running. Once I stopped and was hit by a falling fireball. When he "explodes", stop, grab all the pickups, and grab your prize.

Wierd how I walked into this knowing nothing and I'm this far...

Sorry to just be joining, but I didn't know that we had started to play TRIII. I haven't been online lately, but i have played the first level and killed everything in my path. I would have started the jungle on fire if the game would have let me.

Anyway, i just started on Temple Ruins but i can't seem to remember how to get past the caves into the ruins. But i will keep trying. (The problem is, i think that my cd is scracted becasue the game keeps jumping her to where the boulder comes down. Then I die from the snake bits cause my game freezes.

Anybody know where i can find a new copy of TRIII for cheap?

Just did Kaliya! Fiiinally. I hate that level It takes a lot of patience

Here are my stats, although the time looks low, it actualy took me a lot longer because I was reloading a lot whenever I got hopelessly lost

p.s. Also was quite interested to listen to the cut scene after.. I didn't understand the plot at all the first time I played I didn't even know who this 'Willard' character was!

I've just finished Caves of Kaliya myself. I think definitely Nevada next, and I'm leaning toward London after that.

I think the reason is:

one level we like - one level we hate - one level we like, etc! People don't get so desperate like that!

I chose London last probably because of bias reasons when I first played it, i.e It's English!! (save best 'till last )

I also think the level ending of London makes sense IMO, as you see the helicopter at the end waiting for Lara, and if you've done all 3 Stages an FMV insues when she's on a helicopter... etc.
