88 saves so far - as you can see I use a lot of ammo - I like to make sure something's really dead

Well done Angela! And you got all secrets too!! I must be crazy for saving so often but I feel better that way...

Yeah, when you face Tony at the end of India and he "disappears", you can hold the action button, shoot at nothing, and have blood come out.

Also, the London last thing sounds reasonable. The fact that

they're on (or near) a Heli-pad and she takes a Heli to Antartica

makes sence.

I borrowed a copy of TR III and I just got past the India levels. I always play the Nevada levels first because I was born in Reno. So I just started the Nevada levels.

Do we need to post our times for each level?

If we do, then I can but it will take some time to find the times.

Well, sorry to disappear, lol. I'm all better now (thanks, BP). I did the mansion -- more for fun, since I never tried it on PS. Shame the first time I played it years ago I had no idea how little worth the effort the timed run was for the trophy room. I did it anyway, just to see that I could. I'm almost done level 1. No monkeys killed, which means they never attack Lara. I never knew they'd leave her alone if you don't kill any.

It's not a requirement to post your times. You can post as much or as little as you like

That only happens with level one! I thought like you before and was surprised when they left Lara alone. And I was doing the same in level two but they kept attacking me!

Yeah, I know, lots of distance travelled w/o all the secrets. But, I didn't use any hints, walkthroughs, or family help, so I'm kinda proud.

I know I'm a good three to four levels ahead of everyone, but something odd just happened. I'm in Nevada's High Security Compound at the part where you meet a lone inmate and have to

lure two guards down so he can beat them.

However, after I trigger the two men and run back down the slope, everything goes black and I get an Error Report Screen that boots me out of the game. Has anyone had simular problems?

EDIT: Everything's fine now. It seemed to have freaked out because I didn't have my

guns back

yet. When I got them, killed everyone, and returned, all was fine.

Just finished The Nevada Desert

My stats:

and I'm on 131 saves.

This sign in the level made the X-Files nerd in me squee with delight when I saw it for the first time.

Oh, I do love running stuff over with the quad bikes

I held action down too long while exiting the level and caused the textures to mess up again. Heh heh

Anyways, I'm going to move on to Navada soon. I doubt tonight because I have to go a "vacation" of sorts....

There's something wrong with my ability to take screenshots too - the game crashes every time I try to use the screenshot key that's built into TR3, so I use Fraps instead. I just have to be careful not to hit the ' key by mistake while I'm playing or I get kicked out of the game.

Just finished River Ganges:

130 saves now - I kept falling off ledges in the quad and finally ended up saving after every corner

Nevada Desert done:

130 saves I think! I know what you mean, Angela! The idea of starting over just because you didn't save is too bad! I save all the time!

I kind of wish Xfire had the ability to take a picture of TR3, but it only supports TRL... I have an email to send....

I believe I beat the game about 7 times. I still like to play the game: most especially the Lost City of Tinnos level. I set the Brightness to low and crank all of the volumes up to 10 (making sure my speakers are on full blast). Nowadays, however, I stick to making TR3 levels with DXTRE3D 2.

Oh, I'm so far behind. I'm only started on level 3. Maybe I can play some later today and catch up.

I'm afraid my computer isn't very good so the video is a bit jumpy, but basically.. I opened the gate before turning off the electricity (I'm sure that shouldn't be allowed to happen) and whenever I tried to drive through, I got this wonderful and mysterious death sequence. The animation is superb! Watch all the flips that she does!
