  1. Good news everyone! Turns out it wasn't my CD, but my PS2 that wasn't working, it isn't reading any of my PS2 discs, the laser must be stuffed. Anyway, I rang Sony and shipped my PS2 off to get fixed, so when it comes back all my problems should be solved! Thanks for all the help tho, guys!
  2. Hmm, you could be right. I was thinking about vacuuming it out and see how that does. What do you mean by canned air?
  3. Grrr, ok I'm having SERIOUS problems with TRA! Every bleedin' time the game is about to load, it freezes. The ONLY way I can make the game work is to turn the whole PS2 off, leave it for a while, then turn it back on. Can you imagine doing this every time Lara dies? I don't know if it's the game or the PS2 but I NEED HELP!!
  4. I'm kinda sorry I didn't see this thread earlier, but I did replay TR1 last year, so it's kinda fresh and kinda not... Oh well... Haven't gotten past Greece in Anniversary, but from what I've seen in screenshots, I actually prefer the original mutants/Atlanteans to the TRA ones. They just seem creepier and more otherworldly in TR1 original, which I loved. The Atlantis bits always scared me to death to play them, but I found them really intriguing and fascinating at the same time. To those who have finished TRA, how do you feel about the changes?
  5. Oh, absolutely. No-one walkthrus like Stella! I also am waiting on her new stuff, I'm so impatient, though. I keep checking her site every day to see if she's added the new stuff yet. Still waiting though...
  6. Hehe, you've only just discovered that? It was exactly the same in Legend, as far as I can remember.. I missed the old backflips, too. You can do them whenever her pistols are drawn.
  7. OMG, j7wild that is so DUMB! Hehe, of all the things she says I can't believe you're complaining about that...
  8. Hehe, yeah I got that one too, it was either from Caves or Vilcabamba from getting all Artifacts/Relics. I had a look at the Costumes and there she was! Tea hee.. I like that they put it in there...
  9. Oh, so what do I do? Wait til the PS2 stops making funny noises and gets its act together? Did anyone else get any rewards after St. Francis' Folly and Coliseum after getting all the Artifacts?
  10. I was quite shocked when I suddenly reached the end of the level! It was waaaaaaayyyy shorter than the original, which I, personally, found rather disappointing. Though all the fights were pretty full-on, I for one, would've enjoyed a much larger level. And what was with all that creaking in the cage rooms down below? I thought there was something or someone (Pierre) waiting for me, but it came to nothing after all that....
  11. Hey guys! Its nice to see some familiar faces. I know I've been away forever, I've just been so busy since finishing school! Anyway, I'm back now, I don't know for how long or how often, but I'm back! I hope some of you at least remember me well enough. I did miss you all, and I never, ever forgot about you guys.. So, current news: I'm working most of the time at my local RSL, mainly bartending and gaming, I'm studying in a part-time acting course, AND I just passed my driving test and got my Ps! W00t! It's good to be back!
  12. Hey guys, remember me? Anyway, I'm playing the PS2 and I seem to have encountered a bug. Well, first of all: Towards the end of Coliseum, I hit the checkpoint at the top of the balcony roof (before the grapple swing bit) for the second time, and saved again. Then I died so I tried to reload, and the screen went black as it does right before the loading screen, however this did not appear. I reset the PS2 and again, just black. So I took out the disc, cleaned it up a bit, put it back in and it worked fine, to the end of the level, however the last two sets of bats did not appear, the ones on the roof, and the ones on the stairs at the end. Secondly, as I entered Palace Midas, after killing the gorillas, I could hear the PS2 making funny sounds which I didn't like. It let me keep playing normally otherwise, though. I flipped the switch on the back of the statue to open the first door. I dropped down and went through the door, but a little while along there was a totally grey wall in front of me, obviously a programming glitch. As I tried to make Lara run into it to see what would happen, the game froze, so I turned it off. Has anyone else encountered any bugs at this point in the game? I'm terrified of trying to keep playing in case the game fully stuffs up. Can anyone help? Thanks!! Oh, also, I got all the Artifacts in St. Francis' Folly and Coliseum, but it didn't give me any special rewards. Not all of the kills registered, though, for some reason. Does this count? Do you have to get all the kills AND Artifacts in order to receive bonus content?
