Without spoiling the movie for anyone who hasn't seen it, the ending was awesome.

Think about the premise of the movie and think about the ending. It was wow!

We didn't see that coming.

Last Days in Vietnam (2014)

A very sad and moving documentary.

It angers me how we just abandoned so many people who were then rounded up by the Communists and sent to re-education camps where many of them, by the 10 of 1000, died of diseases and starvation.

The U.S.A. should never had gotten involved in the Vietnam War if it was never going to commit fully to get the job done right.

Yesterday I went and seen Avengers: Age of Ultron. I'm not going to give anything away, but in watching the movie it felt like what they did had already been done before. Anyone who has seen the Avengers knows what i'm talking about.

Although i did enjoy it, i can't give a perfect score. so it would have to be a 4/5

I may go see it in D-Box with Dad and Grandpa (Andrea's dad) and Andrea and my nephews and nieces and my sister (who are coming in on Wednesday for Mother's Day since my Mamma is at our house right now) if I can scrape up the $ for the $18-21 per person ticket prices.

Saw Ex Machina yesterday. Was a very good movie. Ending makes you think about A.I. lol

Twilight's Last Gleaming (1977)

This movie was cool when I saw it as a kid.

Now that I am more informed on Military vehicles and weapons and other related things, this movie just feels cheesy and inaccurate and dumb.

There is just no way someone can gain access to an ICBM missile silo site without needing to show any photo ID to match their faces with their names and the only requirement is to be able to recite back the social security number of the person you are impersonating.

In other note, there sure a lot of familiar character actors in here.

The actor who plays Biggs in Star Wars.

The actor who plays the U.S. Nuclear submarine commander in The Spy Who Loved Me and who also had minor roles in Space: 1999 and Star Wars.

Paul Winfield who played the L.A.P.D. detective in Terminator and the Captain of the U.S.S. Reliant in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

The actor who played Straker in the Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's U.F.O. TV series.

And many others.

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

There is a scene at the beginning of the film that will make you forget Mel is no longer Max and to good effect.

Hardy portrays Max with a new furor and with very few spoken words - even less words than Mel ever spoken in any of his Mad Max films.

Hardy has finally found his calling as an actor.

Theron surprises you as the post apocalyptic woman who has to protect herself and her few sisters from the men around her who are now more violent preying animals than human.

This movie is an almost non-stop 2 hour adrenaline rush with real world stunts:

not the CGI infused stunts we've seen in many recent car chase movies like The Fast and Furious series and Need For Speed and the Transporter franchise.

By the time this film draws its final frame, you had wished there was another 2 hour of it because it went so fast and so furiously exhilaratingly breathless, you will not once throughout the viewing it had even stop to look at your watch.

George Miller made us wait for a sequel to Thunderdome and it kept getting postponed year after year after year and before we knew it, 30 years went by and I must say, it was worth the wait.

Bring on the sequel and hope it will be as good or even better than Fury Road.

I don't give too many films a 10 but Mad Max Fury Road gets a 10 from me and well deservingly too.

Furious Seven (2015)

Horribly absurd action sequences where the main characters should had been dead.

What made the action sequences worse was the very poor CGI.

$190 million budget and they couldn't hire a better special effects company?

I hope this is the last one!

With Walker gone, there shouldn't be any reason to make any more!

Sums it up huh. She however did appreciate the peaceful serenity of cleaning the loo at the end of the film.

Ridley Scott's The Martian

This is a cool unique way to promote a movie.

I had to re-watch it several times (after downloading the 1080p version from YouTube using Clip Converter) to catch all the 'live' tweets.

A moody, dark little obscure film about crime, small town dreams, deception, double crossing and as usual, the lure of quick easy money with stellar performances by Bruce Dern, Michael Stuhlbarg, Teresa Palmer, Billy Bob Thornton, John Malkovich, Oliver Platt and Liam Hemsworth.

This movie started out interesting in the first scene before the main character is introduced and then it just dragged on and on going around in circle pretty much.

Could had been so much better!

It has a 7.0 out of 10 rating on IMDB.

I can only give it a 4 out of 10 or 1.5 out of 5.

Terminator Genisys (2015)

There are a few scenes in there that are almost identical to scenes from the first Terminator movie which were neat.

The rest of the movie not so neat.

This is what happens when a bunch of producers and screenwriters get together and decided to write a movie entry for a money making franchise and they don't follow the 'cannon'.

Also as I said when I first saw the teaser trailer months ago: the actress that plays Sarah Connor is miscast and she is.

Sure Linda Hamilton was not the tough Sarah Connor yet in Terminator but this actress just comes across as a high school kid and she also had a few facial expressions in a couple of dialogue scenes where she just looks like a little girl.

The actors who play John Connor and Kyle Reese are also not convincing and in my opinion miscast. It's like casting Adam Sandler to play Hercules or casting Owen Wilson to play The Transporter.

The only actor in this movie who is believable in his role is Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800 Terminator.

Then there is the story line that these new producers and screenwriter came up with!

Not wanting to spoil the film but it reminded me of the first Mission Impossible film.

Someone just took too much liberty when they wrote the plot!

If James Cameron was dead already right now, he would be spinning in his grave!

Do I recommend this film? Sure! When it gets on DVD.

Not worth the $7-$20 at the movie theater.

Ever since they try to make every film into a blockbuster the people with fresh ideas

don't get a shot except at Sundance.
