Tomb Raider Anniversary General Discussion

I can't remember if there was a threade like this before, but if there is, please feel free to delete this one. I was wondering, are they going to have the controls from TR1, or have controls such as ladder climing, rope swinging, you know, the things we did in legend.

I'm not exactly sure if anyone from the TR design teams read anything on this forum or not (I would certainly hope so, it is a GREAT site), but I would pose the question to fellow TR fans...what would we like to see and hear in TR Anniversary? Personally, I would be thrilled to hear a kind of updated version of the old soundtrack which really was magnificent to say the least. Not just this, but perhaps the finding of secrets could lead to unlocking the old PC Gold levels such as Unfinished Buisness, etc. I really hope TR Anniversary is successful enough to be able to recreate, refine, and revitalize the original sequels as well. I was thinking about the weapons in TRA. I know that TR1 only had a small selection of weapons. Lara's standard pistols, Shotgun, Magnums and Uzis. But I was hoping that maybe they'll add a little something extra to Lara's arsenal range... I think I spotted desert eagles on the trailer at the very end in Lara's holsters, they look darker and bigger than her standard silver pistols. It's very exciting I thought though, I could be wrong, what do you folks think?

While thinking all the time about the TR anniversary game, my mind is going cookoo. So I went ahead and pulled out my old TR1 game and started playing it from the beginning. I don't have the TR1 Gold edition, just the original,so I don't know the extra levels that were put in the Gold Edition. I get to the Lost Valley and the T-Rex freaks me out much like it did the first time. Has anyone else started playing TR1 again too. Who has the TR1 Gold,What can I hope to expect from the anniversary edition.

Does anybody know if they have released any screenshots for the TRA mansion yet?

Hey everyone! I need some help with a level... I am not stuck on a level but the thing is there is a level i am hoping to be in TRA but i cant remember the name... All i remember is that you are in a place that is almost like a castle and the majority is underwater but there are some platforms above the water level that you jumped on to get to a small room that a person was in to kill... I do not kno for sure if it was peirre but it may have been. Thats all i can remember... Does anyone kno what level this is?

I was just wondering if the 10th Anniversary game will be released on PS2 or PS3.

I was wondering, if they are remaking TR1, would they also be remaking Tomb Raider: Unfinished Business since they pretty much were the same Tomb Raider? Or do you think they will just make TRA a little longer with those levels?

Look at the second one on the top and the third on the bottom... I like the one on the bottom that looks like the one in my sig better... But they changed it... WHY?

Are they going to have cutscenes like in Legend? Where a cutscene pops up during the level?

Wow! Wow & Wow again! I'm speechless!! Lara looks amazing & there are Dinos too!! I can't convey how great it is to see the original adventure revamped!
