Tomb Raider Anniversary General Discussion

whats the difference between easy, medium and hard on the TRA? I'm playing on Medium. Does Hard gives you more enemies and more puzzles and less medipacks and Easy gives you less enemies and less puzzles and more medipacks? Also are the level areas depending on which difficulty level you choose? Is there really a difference?

Anyone else notice that during the interactive cut-scene introducing the T-Rex, it mimics very closely the battle between the T-Rex and the velociraptors at the end of Jurassic Park? Where the T-Rex rips the 'raptor clinging to it and hurls it away. In the movie the 'raptor flew into a skeleton (I think it was a T-Rex one, at that), while in the game the 'raptor got flung into the wall. I went to Gamestop today to get TR: Anniversary and they said the game was being shipped today, I was also told it would be at their stores tomorrow. So I put in a $5 reserve deposit so I would be able to get it tomorrow, they got my cell phone number so they will call me. What gets me is if the game was to be released today, why wasn't shipped on monday instead

I just finished the Lost Valley in anniversary, and remembered I took a screenshot of the end stats screen of the original when I completed it roughly a week ago. Out of interest, I took a screenshot of the anniversary stats screen, to compare the kills and completion time. Suffice to say, I couldnt believe it. See for yourselves: EDIT: Sorry, silly me. I didn't realise the completion time was cumulative. D'oh.

Hello everyone!I've got presents to all... I can't express what I feel when I look at these "photos"... They are AMAZING!

I got it the real thing It's 2 DVD The first one is the game and the second is a documentary of TR plus the soundtrack. I paid 40 € for it. So far i discoverd 3 artifacts in the COV but no relic although i have a pretty good idea where it is. I have come to the T REX but he's a little tough. So far its better than Legend but its not that you wander for hours or you really stuck somewhere. I hope its getting more complex afterwards.

As some of you will know prior to Legends release I created quite a lot of visuals. I haven't created anything to do with Tomb Raider for some time now. However, now that TR Anniversary is on the horizon I'm all excited again, esp as it is inspired by the classic original! So I've produced a wallpaper & more will follow depicting what I imagine TR1's stunning levels could look like with Legend-quality visuals. Feel free to comment or post your own designs too. Hey Everyone , What I want to know is whether anyone has heard anything about new moves for Lara in the 10th Anniversary issue. I wish they would put some of the old moves back, too. Has anyone heard? And Happy Easter and Spring to all. Falcon

I've heard that the official Anniversary site is supposed to be getting an update sometime over the next few days so keep an eye out! Among other things, Natla will be unveiled and how she will appear in the game!I can't wait! Play through of the first level Caves (Demo) Video 1 and Video 2 I do not like the narration at the begining of the level. In TR1, she didn't know anything about Atlantis, she just knew she was looking for the Scion! Who is the guy talking anyways?? Now when you jump and use your grapple you press the square button (or the grapple button). I wondered why in Legend you had to press the Jump button to make the grapple come out. This makes more sense. Looks almost the same as TR1 Caves.

firstly I would read the manual back to front to make sure I understand the moves then maybe play or I might just leave it for a few days. but When i play i wont be bothered with the storyline i'll do what i normally do look for bugs and get up to the highest point and swan dive into water. maybe test out these death animations

Eidos sent me a copy of Tomb Raider Anniversary for review. So far it's amazing and the graphics are beautiful. You have many options to adjust things the way you like for brightness and how much effects you want and assorted resolutions. I matched my screen resolution of 1280 x 1040 and had a few sluggish moments when the animations got intence and my pc is pretty up to date. I have a dual core 1.86 cpu and an NVidia card with 256 ram 2 gig ddr also I know i have a few things running I could shut down but instead I chose to shut off some effects and couldn't tell the difference. The game then was fast and smooth afterwards. I also hate the keyboard and …

...and NO!! Before someone starts making accusations of theft, I didn't get these images from ANY of the other Tomb Raider websites!! my images are 1957x3000 ; the ones I've seen on the other Tomb Raider websites are 586x1024 so if all of a sudden their images become 1957x3000, then you know who the Thief IS!!
