Hi, all. As you probably know, June 20th marks the 10th anniversary of the release of Angel of Darkness. A few friends and I have been discussing plans for online festivities. I don't have a whole lot of free time these days, so ongoing contests and such are not really feasible for me, but I'd love to help plan and be part of a one-day AOD blast. Hello, everyone! Since Stella has been busy, I have decided to start the Tombraider 3 Group Play. I thought it would be a good time, since I assume most of our younger friends are out of school. Essentially, if you haven't done this before, you play the game at your own pace. You tell us about your experiences playing the game. You can be technical and share better ways of doing things, mention bugs, etc. This will be helpful to Stella when she gets around to revamping her walkthrough. Listening to Toby Gard (in the Peru commentary of TRA) talking about how he didn't want to have Lara killing people reminded me of an issue that has bothered me in the past.. I will happily blast bad guys but I never felt totally comfortable with blasting innocent people. Not that i have a moral objection to blowing up anyone pixelated, innocent or not (I'll happily do it in GTA for instance), - but I don't feel that it matches the character of Lara. Hi, all. Long time no type! Is anyone up for a little Tomb Raider group play? We did this a while back on this very forum, and it was a blast. Basically we pick a game to play together over a period of a few weeks then post regularly about the experience--with or without screenshots, videos, etc. Since there's no actual co-op mode (yet!) it's more like parallel play, but it can still be a lot of fun, especially if it's a game some of us haven't played yet or haven't played in a while. I still have these !! They are still in their original wrapping. I also went one step further and wrapped each bar in cellophane and put them in a styrofoam box. Then I wrapped the styrofoam box completely with clear packaging tape and then put it inside a waterproof box and finally, I sealed the box with more packaging tape. The box has been in the refrigerator since December 10th, 1999!!

As some of you may have read I am having a little trouble with the Vista, TR Chronicles, sidewinder combination... so on that note....... I lost heart after reading really bad reviews about Angle of Darkness so never bought it which led to the downward spiral of not buying any new Tomb Raider games *hangs head in shame*. I am now back raiding and wanting to buy Angel of Darkness, Legend, Anniversary and Underworld, however, before spending my hard earned money can anyone tell me if they have been successful in playing any of the games with sidewinder and vista? I would hate to be as frustrated as I am with Chronicles with any new games, that may just finish me off . …

I came across this photo while googling for an image of Lara Croft wearing July 4th colors; I didn't find any, I guess Lara is British and she won't be caught dead wearing an American Flag!! Not sure what Karima is doing; anyone know anything about this?

I think they do, look at the (good) differences between AOD and the older games, but I think its great how they took the risk by using a brand new engine for lara and new concepts to interaction and ideas. Looking at Legend with the new engine, if the game was as long as AOD I'm sure it would be full of bugs too. I dont think enough credit went to AOD, pretty much everything in AOD was a test the same as Legend but we treated it like a game and gave negative feedback, if we thought that it was a test maybe we'd have a pretty good game with Core. Naturally i like Crystal D more. I dont know why I started this thread now, but I am replaying AOD

I have just taken possession of a PS 2 from my son and have started to play the Tomb Raider games. I am now on TR 4 and have found that you are not able to save each level as you could in TR 1, 2 and 3. You only have 5 save lines when you enter the save card and you have to over write the last save. In the last three games the level saved for you and asked if you would like to overwrite, but in TR 4 it does not do this. Am I doing something wrong, will the save lines expand as the game goes on. or does this mean that you will not be able to replay the lower levels once you have completed the game. Someone please help Cruc

What serious or humorous fictional (by fictional I mean it can be ones from any other video games you admire) or real mystical artefacts do you want Lara to pursue in future TR games and please say why, for anything named.
