  1. I hope it's OK to post in French. I don';t see anything about English vs. other languages in the forum guidelines. Anyway....

Bonne chance, joyeux Noël et bonne année!

If in lower (not upper) Paititi, Lara can wear any top or boot cover combination, and all this does is disable chat with some of the locals. The merchants and main storyline characters will still interact with Lara regardless of what she is wearing. I didn't check if all the missions require specific outfits.

At least some of them do. For example, Takiy (the boy who lost his dice) and Pisco the Dead require the Blue Heron Tunic, Awil (the girl trying to decipher the murals) and Ikal (the guy whose business partner was killed) require the Serpent Guard uniform. The game always tells you what you need, though, so you can always go find a campfire and change.

  4. There are some areas where you can only wear certain outfits, Paititi in particular. This is a story restriction. When you first enter the Hidden City, you're forced to wear the Blue Heron Tunic so locals will recognize Lara as being one of Unuratu's allies. Later in the game, when you visit the upper city, there's another outfit that you'll have to wear in order to interact with the cult members. You should be able to change when you're outside Paititi, though. Outfits that are restricted because of location are highlighted in red.

  5. I usually use a controller, but I just replayed that section with keyboard and mouse. What worked for me was to jump forward off the wooden ledge then press E to grapple the craggy rock. Then without holding any other keys/buttons, press S to lengthen the grapple cable until Lara is hanging roughly level with the ledge above the mosaic. Then hold either the Left or Right mouse button, point the camera toward the ledge, and alternate pressing W and S to swing back and forth. Repeat a few times to build momentum. Then as Lara swings forward, press Space to jump toward the opening. She grabbed the edge with no problems. If this isn't working for you, then maybe it's a bug. It seems like quite a few people are having trouble here.

@LielIf you want to send me your save, I'll be happy to play through to the next checkpoint and send it back to you. My email is stellalune at tombraiders dot net. Or you can post it here.

  6. Bizarre. Someone else just mentioned this to me tonight, so I suspect it's a new bug caused by something in the latest update. I'll see if I can find more info, but meanwhile, am I correct in assuming you're playing on PC? And if so, can you load your last campsite or backup save? That should allow you to do the Colqui mission and then re-enter the upper city and play through. You'd have to replay the Hakan mission, but at least you wouldn't be stuck. I guess the other alternative would be to continue with the main story and then finish the Colqui mission later when you return to Paititi.

  7. It's just a fancy skin for the Bishop 600. It's supposedly a "community reward," like the ones they gave out with Rise. It should be in the weapons menu at base camps, provided you've reached a point in the game where you've unlocked at least one shotgun. The gold ones were rewards for following the various official social media accounts, again just skins for existing weapons, so no actual gameplay advantage. See here for details.

  8. I'm so sorry for dropping the ball. In my installation (Steam, Windows 10), the save files are in Documents\Shadow of the Tomb Raider\76561198029986509. (Your huge long number will probably be different from mine but should be something similar).

As with the 2013 reboot and Rise, the game will not recognize a downloaded save unless you have first saved in the same slot. So, for example, if you want to use my save1.dat, you first need to start the game, press Esc, then Save Game, and save in the first save slot (not the autosave). Then quit the game and replace your save1.dat with mine. The game should then recognize the new save1 and load it. If you already have a save you want to keep in that first save slot, you can move it to a different folder for safekeeping or save in a different slot, then rename my save to match the save you want to replace.

  9. I hope it works. I renumbered the file, but I tested it in my game, so it should load as long as you move it into the correct folder and have already saved in that first slot at some point. Let me know how it goes if you have time.

And, yes, the car is working, but I'm definitely going to need a new battery. Bring on the winter! ???

  10. I tend to agree. I haven't seen anything about Jaguar's Speed yet. Jaguar's Intimidation is definitely a New Game+ Skill. There are 3 new ones in each category.

    Eagle Path (Seeker)
     · Eagle Sight - Increase zoom factor for all weapons.
     · Eagle Perception - Increase range of Survival Instincts and Perception.
     · Owl's Feast - Harvest more resources from spiders and beetles.

    Jaguar Path (Hunter)
     · Jaguar's Intimidation - Enemy accuracy is decreased for a short time after witnessing a takedown.
     · Jaguar Strength - Enemies take longer to recover when knocked back or knocked down.
     · Jaguar Rage - Damage resistance for a short time after any kill.

    Serpent Path (Scavenger)
     · Serpent Evasion - Enemies are less accurate at determining your location after return to concealment.
     · Viper's Cunning - Lure traps are upgraded to an incendiary bomb and attract multiple enemies.
     · Serpent's Rage - Perform a chained takedown when two nearby enemies are stunned.

There are also new outfits and weapons that come with each category.

I haven't done NG+ yet myself, so I'm not sure exactly how some of these work or if it's possible to unlock more skills later, but so far I haven't seen anyone mentioning Jaguar's Speed.

  11. You're very welcome! And thank you. ❤️ I'm still not finished with the Shadow walkthrough, but I'm hoping to wrap up the first draft soon. My "regular" job gets super busy in October and November, before the holidays, so I just don't have as much free time as I'd like, but I'll get there eventually. :D

  12. @pinball2733Are you playing with keyboard? I usually use a controller, but I can check both. If memory serves, you jump out into the gap and press Interact to grapple. Swing forward, jump again, and press Interact to grapple the second beam. I don't recall it being especially temperamental, but if you are playing with keyboard and mouse, I know those controls can be iffy. If you want to send me your save, I will get you to the next checkpoint and send it back. (My email is stellalune at tombraiders dot net.)

  13. I'm sorry. I didn't realize it didn't work with arrow keys. I use a controller so none of that has been an issue for me, but I'm sympathetic. Do you have a number pad on the right side of your keyboard? Maybe assign directions to 4/5/6/8 or something, just to use when you have to rope swing or wall run. The game allows you to have two sets of keys at the same time, so you could use arrow keys most of the time, then those alternate keys only when you must.
