Ugh. That's a bummer. I've heard the same from a few other people. Hopefully they'll patch again soon.

@HarleyDragon73 I replied to your email about this, but I'll post here too just in case someone else might be having the same issue. AFAIK, you don't need to craft flare ammo. I didn't even have that skill at the point where this QTE occurred, but you do have to aim at the jaguar (so the targeting reticle turns red) before you fire. On PC the fire button is the usual right trigger, but I don't have the Xbox version so I can't test it. If anyone is playing the XO version, I'd be interested to know how it worked for you. If aiming with the right stick and firing with right trigger isn't working, then I suspect a bug.

What they said. ^^ Here are screenshots of the map position and game-world view for the entrance, but yes, if you do all the side missions you'll eventually get there.

I'm not sure how the game counts the multi-part side quests. Does it go by the mission giver, the mission itself, sub-sections of each mission? FWIW, the map legend says "Mission Giver" for that symbol. Anyway, in case it might be helpful, here are screenshots of all the ones I have after reaching the 100% mark. 8 main missions with various sub-missions. I have no idea why it says "Cozumel" when I'm in Paititi.

I know what you mean. I had a few moments like that in other parts of the game. And you're very welcome. I just happened to be online reading the boards when you posted so the timing was perfect.

There's a wooden wall that you can climb near the south end of the clearing. Here Lara is standing on the plane looking south-ish.

I'm not sure, but I will try and look more closely when I get to that level again. It's going to be a while though since I'm only in the flashback section now. Still a ways to go.

Halloo from New York! I got to the checkpoint just before you climb into the window. I knocked down the other 2 skeletons for the challenge along the way, and I don't think I missed anything else, but I didn't poke into every nook and cranny. You got me the "Surprise!" achievement. So we're even. save202.dat Edit: P.S. You got a skill point when I reached that checkpoint. Not sure if you'll see a notification, but know that it's waiting for you.

Just a guess, but there is a prompt afterwards to heal. Have you done that? Even if Lara seems fine, that may be what's preventing you from progressing.

Yes to the side mission (see my previous reply to SpraintCrayon), no to Fear Arrows. those are in a different level. I don't know who makes up these achievement/trophy names, but there should be a category at the VGAs for the best ones. TR would definitely win a few.

Thanks! That helped a lot. Yes, this area is involved in a side mission. It's part 3 of the one called "Hearts and Minds." The goal is to retrieve the Champion's Bow. You get it from Uchu, I believe, after you've completed his previous missions. Edit: Normally you'd get into that area from the north end, near where that wheel-shaped thing is indicated on the map at the top of this area.

I'm sorry but I didn't notice when it unlocked for me. I tried googling, "Shadow of the Tomb Raider Good Samaritan glitched," and didn't get any hits, but it's early days yet. If I hear anything, I'll post here. Hopefully it'll unlock as you progress.

Can you please show me where it is on the map? I was rushing my first time through so I could complete the game and get writing, and I'm sure I missed a lot of little things--or saw them and promptly forgot. I definitely want to check it out.

Hi, @gas1253 . Welcome to LCO. After you pass by the pickup truck stuck in the mud, just continue heading southwest and there's a gap in the wall you can squeeze through. Or do you mean from the area after that where you fight a bunch of guys?

Hi, @Big Tyler 08. I have most of an answer for you. Below are links to screenshots of the entrance to the Skull Cave. I haven't reached that point in my second playthrough, so I'm not sure if it's accessible before you reach the point in the story where you need to go there. So if you can't find it immediately, just keep following the main objectives, and it will open up. That said, I don't think the document and relic you are looking for are in there. I don't remember where the document is, but my 3rd and 4th screenshots show the relic. I suspect the document is nearby and not in the cave. Sorry if this is wrong, but I don't have a convenient save from before I found those two items, so I can't check it. Hopefully all will be revealed as you progress. As for the challenges, like @SpirantCrayon22 said, one is the Crypts. The other is in the area on the east side of the city that you haven't reached yet. First, I'm totally moving to Tupac! Second, yes, some of the Survival Caches can only be found if you read the monolith first to get the clue. I'm not sure I found everything, but I think there are 2 explorer backpacks and 2 archivist maps. The third challenge is near the Kuwaq Yaku Ruins base camp. You can spoilerize yourself if necessary.
